About the author

It can never be said that NYT & USA Today Bestselling author Sidney Bristol has had a ‘normal’ life. She is a recovering roller derby queen, former missionary, and tattoo addict. She grew up in a motor-home on the US highways (with an occasional jaunt into Canada and Mexico), traveling the rodeo circuit with her parents. Sidney has lived abroad in both Russia and Thailand, working with children and teenagers. She now lives in Texas where she splits her time between a job she loves, writing, reading and fostering cats.

In this steamy novella we are treated to the romance of Rosaline and Kasper, two people linked by their interest in kink and computer hacking. Kasper wants Rosaline to help him figure out some underhandedness going on at his police precinct, at the same time as he can't get the thought of her 'under his hand' out of his head. When they play together, things get a bit more complicated and they both must decide where there future will lie. I really liked both characters in this story. It was great to see a smart female character, able to take care of herself professionally even if she desires to be submissive in the bedroom. Kasper has to fight his attraction to her, believing that he isn't good enough to be her Dom but wanting to be it all the same. The play scenes were interesting and well written, and it's obvious that Rosaline and Kasper are on the same page in terms of what they want and the boundaries they are willing to push together. A great addition to the Bayou bound series! 4 stars.

I am not a fan of BDSM (even though from time to time I indulge in few stories) but I loved this story.
Kasper is an IT security expert working for New Orleans police and a Dom in his personal time.
Rose is a former hacker and IT security expert as well.
Kasper has heard about Rose and her skills and he has been forever infatuated with her. When the opportunity arised (he needed her help) Kasper went looking for Rose in a BDSM event. They connect and share role play until Rose's past catches up with her. Kasper takes her home and from here they are inseparable.
Kasper was a sweet DOM. I am used to read about hard, tough Doms and he surprised me. I cannot say I understand the need to spank or be spanked but good read.
Sweet ending, might give the series a try.

Kasper needs Rosaline help on a case he's working on. He's at a BDSM club where she hangs out and asked Fletcher to introduce them. When he first sees her the first thing that comes to mind is that her pictures does not do her justice. He's not there to play he just wants her help.
Rosaline just went through a bad break up 6 months ago. This is the last hurdle she has to do to get her life back to where she wants to be. Fletcher introduces her to Kasper and he trying to talk shop. She cuts him off and tells all all she wants to do is play and tomorrow morning they can talk about what he needs from her.

oh my goodness! Sidney you have done it again! I loved Kasper and Rosaline and they way their relationship worked for them both even though it was fast and intense.

if you haven't started this series you should!!! Sidney can write some hot, intense and fantastic stories, Her characters come to life on the pages and she always leaves me coming back for more!!

Rose and Kasper are both hackers in their own right, and players in the bdsm scene. He needs her help to solve something fishy going on where he works.
He's not the only one with issues. After her last Dom, Rose is closed off and doesn't play anymore. Will these two figure out whats going on first or will they break each other? It was good

Too short and a bit rushed. Enjoyed the main characters. As is often the case with techie female characters, her hacker prowess and position as CEO of her own company was hard to swallow, too much glossed over, insta-results for plot convenience.
