Enjoyed every word of this story. A strong woman who can hold her own anywhere and everywhere. From the ashes of heartbreak, she rose to conquer the world and Lauren ended up with the only man she has loved.
Rafe is out to take revenge not knowing that he is in fact weaving a web to capture Lauren, his one true love.
The ups and downs and the sniping at each other is light hearted fun that has deep meaning.

Lauren Reynolds grew up lying to protect herself and now as bodyguard it's pretty much was helps her to do her job with perfection. But when her new target of security Rafe Dimitriou makes his appearance it's a bit like mixing oil and water, because Rafe was raised to uphold a strict code of honor. The sexy billionaire 's most formidable competitor, Milton Payne isn't as scrupulous.
Both Rafe and Milton are vying to gain control of Gracious Living, and in order to make an offer the company requires the buyer to be married. Rafe needs a bride and he has the perfect solution Lauren! But to what to do to get her to play along, blackmail her of course it's what any billionaire would do. The blackmail scam works perfectly in Rafe's favor when Lauren agrees to marry him, but is she really doing it to get away from his blackmailing scam or does she know more than she is willing to tell her new husband?
I really enjoyed this read, it had a nice fast pace and excellent drama. An awesome dark and dangerous hero that I will add , get's more and more dangerous as the read gets deeper and deeper, and it was all kinds of super sexy!The character of Lauren was the perfect combination of kick-ass heroine meets knows how to survive meets her match , and reading about her was truly exhilarating.
Now creating a kick ass heroine and a super sexy dangerous ass all hell hero is easy , I find them in plenty of reads, but combining them with a truly great suspense filled plot, is something not all authors I've read , have been able to do. But this author totally nailed it!
Lots of action packed scenes filled with a large dose of awesomeness. Steamy and I do mean really steamy sex scenes and best of all drama, drama and more drama ! And the emotion being depicted, all I can say is " Oh my gosh" really had be grabbing for the tissues and there were countless moments of " No that did not just happen!" " Oh man too funny!"
It's a action packed, romantic, knock your socks off read that is not to be missed. Best of all it has a lovely message of trust and second chances always being able to happen when we find hope.
Highly recommended romance, and perfect for a lazy escape into romance, afternoon.

Who doesn't love a Greek hero and Mr tall dark and dangerous Rafe Dimitriou fills hero shoes very well he is running the family company with his father but Rafe is a very honest and trustworthy hero as well as all of his other assets and when he saves Lauren Reynolds from the sea in Greece he falls for her as does Lauren for Rafe the spark between them is instant but Lauren has secrets that she must keep to herself she is a bodyguard that works for Sentinels Agency providing covert protection services and when the assignment that Lauren is on cause problems for Rafe's family they go their separate ways with Rafe being stuborn and not listening and both carry on with their lives never forgetting the other.
But a few years later Rafe turns up in New York with a question for Lauren he needs her help and she is not willing to help but when Sentinels takes on a new assignment and that is to protect Rafe Lauren agrees but this is going to be a tough assignment being Rafe's wife for a year for two reasons one so as Rafe can obtain a new magazine for his company and two Lauren needs to protect Rafe and keep all of this to herself knowing how much Rafe does not like dishonesty.
This is a sizzling adventure as Lauren and Rafe rekindle the spark that never left but with so many secrets and threats on Rafe's life and with both of them not being able to keep their hands off each other you will be turning the pages to get to the end. Lauren is such a strong heroine one who can stand on her own and Rafe so honest and drop dead gorgeous you will be smiling.
This is a debut for Lisa Weaver and I am looking forward to many more as there are a lot of bodyguards at Sentinels that really need their own story.

Tall, Dark, and Dangerous
What a fun romantic suspense from the Kindle Scout program! I can see why this book was a winner. Lisa Weaver caught my attention from the very first scene as Lauren comes face to face with the man who broke her heart two years ago, Rafe Dimitriou, in a matrimonial fashion benefit for a charity. Lauren is reluctantly wearing the bridal gown, and Rafe is meltingly handsome in a tux.
Rafe is a man on a mission. He needs a bride like yesterday in order to win a business deal. He’s never forgotten Lauren, and the kiss he gives her at the mock wedding proves the attraction still works both ways, despite her protests to the contrary. She was the perfect temporary bride and they’d both have a little fun along the way.
Lauren is stunned to see Rafe, disgusted at her reaction to him, and determined to stay away from him. Except his father has been to see her boss. He’s hired her to be Rafe’s secret bodyguard. She isn’t crazy about the job offer, but she can’t bear to think of Rafe getting hurt. She takes the job, only to find that she’s once again keeping secrets from Rafe, and lack of trust is what drove them apart the first time.
I adored this line “His kisses had tasted like forever.”
This pair has a lot of work to do to earn a happily ever after, and Weaver’s writing is spot on for the genre. If Tall, Dark, and Dangerous is your cup of tea, read this book.

Lauren is working at a wedding fashion show wearing a beautiful wedding gown and finds the one playing the groom decked out in a tux, in the mock wedding is none other than Rafe Dimitriou. They have a past and she knows she still has deep feelings for him but wants to keep away. She has been hired to be his secret bodyguard and doesn't want to do it but wants him to be protected. Secrets and lack of trust drove them apart the first time, so not letting him know she is protecting him means she is keeping secrets again. When Rafe says he needs a temporary bride to win a business deal, she at first protests but maybe they could have a little fun along the way and she can protect him better in the position of wife. Will they be able to have a HEA find out and have some fun along the way. There is danger and of course the best part romance and some spice along the way. I received this book through the Kindle scout program and I am so happy I voted for it and to have had to opportunity to read it. Lisa Weaver has written a wonderful book and I am looking forward to more. A book to pick up and sit back and enjoy.

This is a book for anyone who loves to read suspense, secrets with some sexual desire mixed in!
Lauren Reynolds and Rafe Dimitriou with a past relationship that did not work because Rafe thought Lauren had lied and now they meet again.
This book is a fast read drama with suspense and a misleading scam. Rafe needs Lauren to agree to marry him and needed it to gain control of Gracious Living. What he does not know is that Lauren agrees as she needs to be his bodyguard. His father has hired the firm that Lauren works for. Lauren and her brother work for the same body guarding company but has other jobs in order to hide their real jobs.
Rafe does not believe his dad would be in the mafia and Lauren knows he is. Rafe thinks he is just getting a wife to settle what he wants but he does not realize that it turns out Rafe cannot live without her.
There is jealousy and greed and a great story line. Lauren tries to tell Rafe the truth but something always comes up.

I have been reading through the list of Kindle Scout books and am so impressed by not only the level of storytelling but the wide breadth of choices to fit whatever mood I'm in.There are times in every girl's life when she just needs a hot bubble bath, a glass of wine, and a locked door between her and reality - that and a distracting, just for fun, chocolate treat of a book.
Lisa Weaver did an excellent job of creating an entertaining romance that is engaging and spirited. There is plenty of action where good guy/gal is pitted against the bad guy and plenty of action involving the heart and other body parts ;) Looking forward to the next installment in the Sentinel Agent books.

The Billionaire's Bodyguard Bride is a quick and easy read filled with intrigue and sweet romance.
Rafe and Lauren are reunited with a business deal but neither of them can deny their attractions to each other. Watching this couple reconcile in the midst of a catty ex, a determined business rival, and secrets and threats, is a refreshing spin on the stereotypical billionaire romance scene.

"The Billionaire's Bodyguard Bride" by Lisa Weaver is a wonderful, fast, read that flows wonderfully. Rafe Dimitrou and Lauren Reynolds are reaquainted after a past that didn't end well. Lauren still has feelings for Rafe but he just needs a wife to secure a deal.
There is so much more to this story but you need to read it so that you'll know why Lauren was blamed for a photo that was taken of Rafe's father in the past that puts him in ties with the Mafia. Things are not always as they seem, and Rafe will need to learn to trust. LOVED IT!

A great story of second chances. Sometimes you need to make choices that others don't like. Lauren had been hurt badly by Rafe and now she has to be his wife and try protect him at the same time. Rafe doesn't trust her he knows that she is hiding something. Can he listen to reason or will he break her heart again. Lots of action hot sex and finding your way back to where you need to be. A great easy read had me hooked from the beginning.

The Billionaire’s Bodyguard Bride has a little bit of everything that I enjoy in books. It’s a story about second chances, and who doesn’t love a second chance to make things right? It has glamor and suspense and danger. But mostly, it has romance, which is great, and yup, a bit of spice, too! The story is well written and a fun read. I’ll be watching for the next book in Lisa Weaver’s her Sentinel Agent series.

Lisa Weaver has delivered a whopping story that keeps you on the edge of suspense every page of the way. THE BILLIONAIRE'S BODYGUARD BRIDE unfolds beautifully and the characters are startlingly three-dimensional. Each page is savored, each character relevant and the analogy/narrative intriguing!

THE SENTINEL
I loved this book because it was exciting to read. The main characters (the protagonists) and their counterparts (the antagonists) back and forth kept interest peeked! The love story wrapped up in it with the happy ending made it come full circle! Anyone who likes "who DUNNit's," will love this book and the others in this series.

Sweet book
Loved Lauren's personality and Rafe's roughness. Exceptionally written with flawless characters that added to the intrigue of the book. The the protection agency story line and Lauren becoming Rafes bride to help protect him but also being in love with him was a great plot. I think the story came together well and the ending was great.

Weddings and death threats
A proposition from the one that got away rocks Lauren to her core. Marry him to save her brothers job. It sounds so easy, but too many complications arise, including Lauren's feelings for Rafe. What Rafe doesn't is Lauren's goals are different than he thought.

Escapism at its finest! This quick-read has it all...a sexy billionaire, steamy love scenes, a kick a** heroine, as well as enough conflict and danger to keep it interesting. If you're looking for a fun way to spend the evening, pick up this Kindle Scout winner.

It was ok. Liked that Lauren was a strong female character, but for what ever reason, I didn't connect with the characters in the story and started skimming through some parts eventhough I finished the book.

This was my first book by Lisa Weaver and I found myself drawn into the book as if it was reality. The twists and turns, passionate, and angst kept me wanting more. I look forward to reading more from Lisa Weaver.

A very enjoyable book with strong characters, nothing too graphic or violent, just a pleasant love story reminiscent of Mills and Boon.

Rafe and Lauren's story was a bit predictable, but it was enjoyable none the less. The author did a good job with the characters. Will read more from this author.

I enjoyed this story. Suspense and romance together are a great story combination. Looking forward to more of this series.

This was a fast paced fun filled laced with drama and suspense story with a a great love story wrapped all around it.
