EXTINCT - Giant Sloth: A Prehistoric Cryptid Survival Thriller
Some things should not be found.
When paleontologist Dr. Elena Marquez is abducted by a ruthless mercenary team, she expects to evaluate an undisturbed fossil bed hidden deep within an uncharted Patagonian valley. Instead, she discovers the impossible. A surviving breeding population of Megatherium.
Standing twenty feet tall and armored in bone, these four ton behemoths did not outlive the saber toothed cat by being docile. They are fiercely territorial. They are violently protective. They are perfectly evolved to crush any threat to their environment.
When the mercenaries attempt a live capture of a juvenile, they trigger a terrifying and systematic defense by the herd. Trapped in an ancient nightmare, Elena must escape before the extraction team destroys the fragile ecosystem or before the valley permanently erases them all.
