The Joker is back and he's pulling his sickest stunt to date, reenacting his old ones. Batman cannot due this alone so he reaches out to the Bat Family, yet soon they are abducted which leads to just Joker and Batman. The Joker is trying to get to Batman, drive him mad, which eventually leads to him "killing" the Bat Family which includes Batman's son Damien Wayne, but it turns out to be a cruel joke, with his plan foiled, Joker leaves the scene only to end in a cliffhanger. I gave this book a great rating due to the balance of the storyline as well as the dark tone and mood, it's just enough Batman with a touch of nostalgia, due to Joker reenacting stunts from past comics. This book taught me to be close with my family, because you never know what can happen. I recommend this book to be read by teenagers because of murders, blood, and twisted, dark jokes.
I misunderstood. I thought this was going to be another Court of Owls series, so I went in expecting something else. That aside, Joker has never been my favorite villain and therefore, this was not my favorite book.
