I loved this short novella. Cooper is a super hot hero who could take out fires in my house any day! Josie a cute red head who thought she would be single forever. They had some steamy chemistry even if getting together was super unconventional. How they got together was super sweet and funny at the same time.
Cooper was the perfect boyfriend right from the very beginning. He could totally give lessons to other men on how to be a good boyfriend. Josie was totally more than she seemed. They were a very cute couple together.
Marie Harte has a way of making her secondary characters so lovable and likable. Harrison and Miranda were super funny. They could totally have their own story.
I really like Marie Harte and loved her McCauley series. I wish this novella was actually a full length novel. I also wish that Two to Spark was the beginning of a new series. I would love to hear about Cooper’s other brothers finding love. Not to mention their quirky older sister Hannah needs to find love.
This is an extremely short (68 pages on my e-reader) and extremely spicey little novella by Ms. Harte. It may have started out to be the opener for a series since our hero Cooper is one of 4 super sexy quadruplets Cooper, Ben, Jaden and Harrison who have an attractive older sister Hannah who may or may not be in a thing with Cooper's best friend and our heroine Josie has a very hot BFF Sophie who seems to have a thing for Cooper's brother Harrison and Harrison seems to have a thing for her. Neither of these relationships is more than hinted at in this book. But as far as I know those relationships were never followed up in future books. Our heroine Josie had a major crush on our hero Cooper back in high school where she was two grades behind him and his 3 brothers. Harrison had a crush on Josie so he constantly picked on her and made fun of her red hair. In an attempt to get back at him she accidently pantses Cooper in the school cafeteria instead of Harrison. From that point on Josie and the four brothers are not on good terms through the end of high school. It's ten years later now and Josie is a middle-school teacher living with her college BFf and blonde knockout Sophia. Because they live in a small town in Pa. and three of the 4 brothers are firemen and Harrison a cop they can't help but see each other from time to time. But Josie always gives them a wide bearth because of their feelings of animosity. It's Josie's 27th birthday and she's feeling all out of sorts. She loves her job but she has no love life and hasn't had sex in over a year. Josie's BFF Sophie pays for a psyhic reading from Hannah the older sister of the quadruplets as a birthday present where she predicts Josie is going to find her soulmate and describes him and some of the events that will lead her to that discovery. Hannah also lays a psychic forecast on her non believing brother Cooper with the same predicitons of finding that soul mate. As it turns out Hannah really has psychic powers and everything she foresees comes to pass. Josie with a little help from Hannah is re-introduced to the Quads as their known and now that they're all adults they revisit the event in high school and come to understand what motivated Josie to pull the prank and that it was actually on the wrong brother. Quickly some convenient events take place which allows Cooper who is now as infatuated with Josie as she has always been with him and their relationship goes form 0-60 pretty quickly. Well I guess it has to since the book is less than seventy pages long. At any rate if you're looking for an entertaining, sexy one hour read this is a nice little story.
Schoolteacher Josie Young doesn’t have big plans for her birthday, but when her best friend and roommate hires a psychic to give Josie a reading, things start looking a little brighter. After all, the psychic Hannah tells Josie that she’s about to meet the man of her dreams. Then she runs into Cooper, the guy she crushed on in high school, and winds up in ER. Firefighter Cooper Talbot is the youngest of quadruplet brothers. He loves his older sister even though she claims to be psychic, but she’s driving him crazy. Hannah thinks he’ll soon meet his destiny, the woman he can’t live without, but three things must happen before he realizes she’s the one. Then he meets Josie again after several years. They used to not get along, but the connection between them as adults is instant. Too bad trust doesn’t come easy to Cooper, and he might just ruin everything with his temper. Good story! Both the H/h are likeable characters. Josie is shy but wild when you get to know her. Cooper needs someone who can stand up to him and not take any of his crap. They fit well together. His brothers—Harrison, Jaden, and Ben—are great, as is his best friend Mike, and I’m curious about the blooming possible romance between Harrison and Sophie, Josie’s best friend, and between Mike and Hannah. The story flowed with good pacing. There were a few typos but nothing major. The sex scenes were super hot, definitely an R-rating with that scorching masturbation scene. I loved it! Anyway, I’d definitely like to read more books by Ms. Harte. 4 Stars
Two to Spark is a great romance between two adults who went to high school together. It has been awhile since Josie and Cooper have actually been in the same vicinity. Josie left a particularly unfavorable impression on Cooper after he became the victim of a prank gone wrong - actually, the prank went correctly, Josie just caught the wrong triplet brother in the shenanigan. When, through Cooper's sister, Josie and Cooper are reunited, the sparks fly.
The chemistry between Josie and Cooper is immediate and jumps off of the pages. The author does a great job making their story is realistic and believable. Josie and Cooper are fun, sassy, and truly meant to be together. I enjoyed this short, hot (and not just because Cooper's a firefighter) story. Two to Spark is a quick, satisfying read that just cements Marie Harte in my top authors category. I love her writing style, unique stories, and the settings/characters she chooses to share with her readers.
Josie was worried that Cooper was still holding a grudge against her, because of a prank gone wrong in high school. Cooper didn't realize how much Josie had changed since high school and he wanted to get to know her better. Cooper's sister, Hannah, gives them both psychic predictions and Cooper and Josie are skeptical of Hannah's abilities.
A lovely fun short coffee time read with interesting characters. Loved the two H's and the story was well written and believable. I hope the author writes more stories for the characters we meet in this book. This was a gift read from the author for signing up to her newsletter.
Second time around, Two to Spark was quite literally a hot little read!! Why I didn't review this after my first read I don't know!!!
Josie Young and Cooper Talbot knew each other at high school - Josie had a huge crush on Coop but due to a case of mistaken identity - Cooper is one of quadruplet brothers - they haven't seen each other is some time as Josie avoids him like the plague (even though her crush hasn't abated!)
They come into contact again through Coopers sister and sparks fly when they literally fall over each other! They have an undeniable chemistry and as they spend time together and discover more about each other, things between them grow hotter and more serious.
Cooper was sweet, thoughtful, caring and hot. Josie was sassy, strong, sweet and totally smitten with the big fireman. They were definitely a great match!
A fun, entertaining, quick read (I read it in less than an afternoon) Two to Spark is one I'd recommend you pick up and check out. I'm hoping that there's more from the three other Talbot brothers, as well as their sister, to come from Marie Harte.
Two to Spark by Marie Harte is a fun sassy and often silly romantic romp. Take one hot firefighting quad add the girl who crushed on him in school add in a bit of fate and you get Cooper and Josie’s story. Cooper is a player and Josie is played out. But time and circumstance bring them together and they are both in for a big surprise when they discover just how good they can be together. Cooper has 3 other brothers and a sister so I am hoping this is the first of a series.
