This is actually pretty nice book, and I like the Kindle version (except there is no page number...). For the most part I can manage pretty well, yet at the same time I struggled every once in a while. This suggests that I was right in guessing I am about N3 level when I started. It also suggests that this is as far as manga reading can get me. I will probably need visual novels or light novels, or other platforms to get this to work. I was playing Sen no Kiseki on Steam in Japanese and while I managed to get through the game satisfactorily, it clearly demanded a smoother understanding closer to N2 mastery to play it reasonably quickly (I played twice as long as if I were to do it in English), so this benchmark is pretty spot on.
Time to finish the other N3 book and on to N2! I think learning Japanese does not really require these books, but it works well for me as it has clear milestones and a measure of what I know and what I don't know.
No es para nada un libro didáctico, es para repasar las estructuras gramaticales que ya se deben conocer para presentar el Nōken N3. Esta muy bien ordenado y con buenos ejemplos, pero algunas traducciones al inglés son imprecisas.
I appreciated the review questions in this book and the short, direct grammar explanations. It was easy to understand and offered a lot of example sentences to help solidify the uses of each point.
