"I shiver, and a tiny groan escapes my lips. God, this man! This vampire! I’m so far head over heels I'm sure my face is halfway up my ass by now."

Like, broooo, we are barely at 34% of the book, there is absolutely no way you are already this deeply in love with him!
I just can't with this book, I swear. It had so much potential, and to be honest, I’m still intrigued by what’s going on in Xander’s mansion, but I cannot keep going (nor am I going to force myself to). Thank you, no.
First of all, huge thanks to Kennedy for the opportunity to read this book. I had such a fun time!!
Oh my heart. This book had me swooning, laughing, and crying at the same time 😭💕 it was fast-paced and included all the things I love: fated mates, insta-love, found family, and so so much more! And of course we can’t forget about those adorable kitties who were totally giving off main character energy 😋 I absolutely ADORED this story and am so excited to read more of Kennedy’s work in the future. Now go read this book!!!
Mysterious town- MM- Vampire X Human - Cat daddies -finding oneself after a controlling relationship - touch him and 💀
I thought this was well written, the world building was good and not too complicated, I really enjoyed this authors take on Vampires and how they lived, turned and had different skills/magic. Loved the involvement of the cats and their interactions. Enjoyed the overall plot and would continue this series if it followed the members of his colony.
My only irk was the amount of time Noah spent giggling 🙃
A hot vampire, a cute ginger mate, and two adorable cats? Say less, I'm already in. The cover alone had me interested from the moment I saw it. Anything with cats on the cover immediately gets added to my TBR.
Noah is trying to move on after leaving his ex behind, traveling with no real destination in mind. When he arrives in Moonfell, he feels an unexpected pull to stay. Xander, who has been sensing Noah for far longer than Noah realizes, finally tracks him down at a gas station, and that's where everything starts. I won't spoil the rest because it's definitely worth experiencing for yourself!
This book was such a fun read and exactly what I was in the mood for. I adored Noah and Xander together, but the supporting characters were just as memorable. The vampire cast has so much personality that I found myself wanting to know more about all of them. 😭🥹
OH I FUCKING LOVED THIS. It gave me everything I wanted and then some. Both MMCs were perfect. Loved Noah and Xan so much. I feel like you always get grumpy brooding vamps and he ended up being a bit of a cinnamon roll and I loved it. Noah was a great character too. Little nerdy but bubbly and spicy. The two of them together is *chefs kiss*. Then we had the fur babies. Nyx and Pumpkin. Ugh. 10/10 on them both. Love me a short king going after his laaaaadyyyyyyy. Really loved the storyline, all the side characters we meet (please tell me Cole, ty, and Ambrose end up in a throuple… im manifesting this). Xans “family” is so great as well, i hope we get all their stories. I really need Milo to get his HEA and I want to read about him so badly.
Again. For me, this was a perfect read. The vibes were there, the plot was there, the spice was there, the banter, the sweet moments, the characters. Love love loved it. I cannot wait for all the others in this series.
I am happy to say that Kennedy Esther is going to on my list for MM authors 😍 loved the books whole vibe of gushy, sexy, and mysterious 🥰 what a breath of fresh air the insta love and good communication would be. Ive gotten a little tired of enemies-lovers or god forbid any miscommunication 😂 will definitely read more of this authors books when they come out.
A wonderful funny cosy romantic comedy that has a misleading title, but has great characters and wonderful plot points and world building that make me want to continue reading the moonfell series
I wanted to like FANGS & FUR so much because I love vampire and MM romance but the writing was really holding this back for me. The writing voice itself was fine but it all just felt very surface level and Noah doesn't question anything that's happening even though it's all so strange. I mean talk about terrible survival instincts.
What a fun read!! I enjoyed this book so much. Noah and Xander were adorable and a little kinky 😉 It was such a quick read and I hope there will be more of Moonfell. Also S/O to the kitties. The real stars. 🌟😂 Thank you so much for this ARC.

I was scrolling on my Kindle, mindlessly looking for interesting books to buy, when this cover captured my attention: "An M/M romance with cats? Cute!" I opened it and then I read it was a romance between a Vampire and a human? I was sold! And then I saw "pre-order". Good thing it came out 2 days later 😂
Anyway, this was a read I immediately dove right into the moment it was available on my Kindle.
I have a few "guilty pleasures" when it comes to romance books: 1) I love love at first sight and immediate tension between the 2 characters. No slow burn shit for me. Give me all the sexual tension from the start. 2) Vampires. Yup, that's it. A vamp somewhere in the relationship and I'm a happy guy. 3) A perfect mix between lovey dovey fluff and straight up kinky stuff.
And guess what, this story has it all! Noah and Xander are the sweetest couple I have read in a long time. But when they go down, they go down HARD. The last scene was 🥵
Then, the 2 cats were so funny and heartwarming, with Pumpkin head over heels for Nyx 😂 Pumpkin definitely was the clingy one of the 2 cats.
The story was great too! Even though there weren't any surprises for me and I saw things coming, it didn't take away from the story and I still loved it!
The book follows Noah as he moves to a strange new town, seeking a fresh start after ending a bad relationship. Enter Xander, who becomes both his landlord and roommate. Noah is honestly the sweetest character and deserves every good thing in the world. He also has a cat named Pumpkin, who deserves all the nice things, too. And while we're talking about cats, can we take a moment to appreciate how adorable the cat storyline was throughout this book?
Back to the romance.
This was a low-angst, incredibly enjoyable read. Noah is hilarious, and Xander and his family had me laughing constantly. Alongside the romance, there's an underlying mystery as Noah finds himself at the center of increasingly dangerous events, with bodies continuing to pile up around him. I had so much fun trying to figure out who was behind it all.
I loved the relationship between Xander and Noah. It felt natural, and one of my favorite aspects of the story was how Xander helped rebuild Noah's confidence after everything he'd been through. The connection they built through the story, through small gestures between them, was a real highlight. Did I mention that Noah is amazing and deserves everything nice?
This also wasn't your typical vampire romance. The vampire elements actually played an important role in the story rather than simply existing as a label. The only spoiler I'll mention is that I thought the way the vampires sleep was absolutely adorable.
I definitely did not expect the ending, but I loved it. Even knowing there was going to be a happily-ever-after, there were several chapters where I was genuinely nervous about how everything would work out. I started this book and finished it on the same day because I couldn't stop reading. I needed to know what would happen next.
The ending also does a fantastic job of setting up the next book, and I'm excited to see where the larger story goes from here. For a debut novel, this was an incredibly strong start, and I'm looking forward to reading more from this author.
And before I forget, the spice arrives early and delivers. Very good.
For a debut book, this was pretty good! This is a high-heat MM Romance with cozy, paranormal themes, emotional healing journeys, and plenty of biting!
This book followed Noah right after he broke up with the most toxic ex, and he is running from that and the life that never felt like his. When he stumbles across a roommate listing, by a guy named Xander in Moonfell. Little does he know how much his life is about to change.
From the most adorable orange kitty named pumpkin to the hell bound kitty Nyx, Noah and Xander go through a world wind as they discover how powerful their attraction to each other really is. They would do anything to save each other. But is loving a monster really worth everything that comes with it? Even when Noah has the potential to become one himself? Make sure you preorder this to find out!

“Swallowing, he replies, “you make me sound like I'm some houseplant you’re trying to keep alive.”
“What if I were to lock you inside my coffin all night? No way to escape me. No one would hear you scream.”
“Never think for a second you’re alone in this, Noah. You will always have someone who cares about you.”

Disclosure: I received a complimentary Advance Review Copy (ARC) of Fangs & Fur by Kennedy Esther in exchange for an honest review.
Fangs & Fur is a compelling entry in the Moonfell Vamps Series that offers a unique spin on vampire lore. While many paranormal romances rely on familiar tropes, Esther introduces a distinct set of supernatural rules and vampire "specialties" that felt fresh and engaging.
The story follows Noah, a man running from a toxic past, who finds sanctuary in the mountain town of Moonfell. His new roommate, Xander, is mysterious, protective, and unmistakably supernatural. As danger begins to brew in the forest, threatening Noah specifically, Xander must embrace his own nature to save the man he is quickly coming to obsess over.
The chemistry between Xander and Noah is high-octane from the start. This is not a slow burn; it is a fast-paced, devoted romance featuring high heat and an intense, possessive bond. I particularly appreciated how Esther handled Noah’s journey from a traumatic, abusive past toward a supportive found family. While it was difficult to read Noah’s timidity around his past abuser, it provided a realistic, grounded look at the lasting effects of psychological manipulation. The emotional stakes are high, and the tragedy woven into Xander’s long history is genuinely heart-wrenching.
With spice that could cut glass and a deep focus on found family (and plenty of fangs!), this is a solid paranormal read. The ending felt a bit abrupt for my taste, leaving me desperate to know more about the side characters—particularly the intriguing Harlan. If you love possessive vampire romance and high-heat tension, this is a great addition to your TBR.
Here is "Fangs and Fur" by Kennedy Esther. It's the first novel in the Moonfell Vamps series.

Insta-lust. Insta-love. Insta-cat-bffs. Insta-vampire-mansion-vibes. Insta-creepy-shadows (and not the fun kind).
These two were sooo soft with each other. Their love story was easy and wonderful. They communicated, they checked in, they constantly reassured each other. They were protective without being over the top. They were sassy and sweet. They build a home, a family.
They also fought evil. So there's that. A few different kinds of evil. I didn't cry, you did (no, I sobbed).
I canNOT wait for more! All of these vampires will fall in love?! Yes please. I also am going to need a Tyler/Cole HEA, just saying.
Trigger Warnings: toxic exes, threats, violence, homophobia, murder, and more.
This was a solid read for me — one I liked quite a bit, but didn't quite love. The story follows Noah, who is running away from a toxic and abusive ex. He ends up in Moonfell, a hidden town full of supernatural creatures — vampires, werewolves, witches, you name it. The town is warded by magic and doesn't show up on any map. Only supernaturals or their mates can find it. Noah ends up lodging at a mansion that belongs to Xander, a 200-year-old vampire. Xander is incredibly gentle and attentive with Noah — makes him food, brings him coffee, gets him fresh linen and toiletries. Noah, who has never been treated with this kind of care (not even by his own family when he came out), falls hard — first for Xander's looks and then for his kindness. When Noah's life is threatened, Xander calls his coven and together they protect him. Where the book lost me was the reason behind the threat to Noah's life. It just didn't make sense that someone would go to those lengths to harm him or Xander. The plot logic didn't hold up for me and that's what kept this from being a book I loved. But the highlight? THE CATS. Xander has a hellcat named Nyx — almost the size of a Great Dane, kills demons, and is an absolute badass. Noah has an orange tabby named Pumpkin who is completely smitten with Nyx the moment they meet. They are the cutest pair and honestly I wanted so much more of them. 😍 The world building here is very different from any vampire book I've read before and that was a genuinely welcome change. Overall, a one-time read for me — enjoyable, just not one I'll be revisiting.
Obsessed! That is the first word to come to mind when thinking about this book! 10/10 no notes! I devoured this book in one sitting. This book has a little bit of everything I love from a toxic ex, longing, found family, motorcycles, possessiveness, mystery, a haunted house, fast burn… with teeth, some bondage, cat couple, cat daddies, and a HEA. I was cracking up one minute, then fanning myself in the next. Noah and Xander and freaking adorable! We meet Noah after leaving his ex traveling with no destination in sight. He comes to a Moonfell, feeling drawn to stay. Xander has sensed Noah forever, finally he tracks him to a gas station and the story begins! You will have to read to find out more! This book was everything I needed. I cannot wait to get more from the supporting characters/vamps. I need books for all of them but especially Harlan, and Milo❤️🩹❤️🩹 I also don’t want to forget to give a shoutout to my favorite cat couple Nyx, and Pumpkin! Thank you Kennedy for trusting me with reading your debut, I loved it 🖤🔥
There were so many good quotes throughout this book, but this was one of my favorites.
“I have loved you before I even met you. And I have fallen so incredibly deep in love with you every day, and I never plan to resurface. Eternity is a long time, but I plan to spend it with you”.
✨ Vampires 🧛 ✨ Fated mates 💕 ✨ Witches ✨ ✨ A vampire colony (aka one giant, slightly chaotic Supernatural family) ✨ Mystery 🔮 ✨ Cats with better love lives than most of us 🐈⬛
After escaping an abusive relationship, Noah packs up his two suitcases, grabs his cat Pumpkin (we love a cat dad!), and hits the road. Fate leads him to Moonfell, a hidden paranormal town filled with supernaturals.
Desperate for a place to stay, Noah ends up renting a room from Xander, a 130-year-old vampire who lives in a mansion that screams haunted nightmare but also my dream home 😃
For Noah, it’s instant infatuation. For Xander, it’s finally meeting the mate he’s been waiting over a century for. Talk about patience 🙈
And even Pumpkin gets lucky! He finds his own soulmate or should I say hellmate in Nyx, Xander’s hellcat. The kitty love story was adorable 😻
I absolutely loved the Colony and the family vibes among the vampires. They were protective, chaotic, and completely lovable. Harlan was 600 years of chaos 😂
This world has so much potential, and I’m already impatiently waiting for the next book. If you love paranormal MM romance with vampires, fated mates, mystery, family, and a healthy dose of cat matchmaking, you need to pick this up. 🖤

Let me tell you… The sexual tension with these two was palpable. Xander and Noah had it bad for each other from the start. As soon as Xander held pumpkin “ Noah’s cat” he was a goner. Then seeing Xander with his “cat” Nyx was just icing on the cake because who can resist a big sexy man “vampire” who is also a cat Dad? Xan is boyfriend goals x1000, he cooks, loves cats, rides a motorcycle, is hot AF, and kinky. Noah never stood a chance lol. Life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows, however for them because someone is trying to stop them from being together in the worst way. But with a new supernatural found family they make it work. This is only the start of their very happy life together and you will definitely love how they celebrate their newfound relationship. So if you love the supernatural, cats, fated mates, kink, and happy endings then I recommend you read this book. I enjoyed every minute of this book and will absolutely read more by this author. I want to think the author for letting me read this in advance.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of my favorite things about this book was the vampire lore. There are so many vampire books out there that a lot of the details start to feel the same, but this one managed to make them feel fresh and unique. I loved all the little details and characteristics that made these vampires stand out. This book was exactly the break I needed from all the dark reads I’ve been picking up lately. While there are a few heavier moments, it’s overall a fluffy, heartwarming, and deliciously spicy vampire romance. The unique vampire lore adds so much charm, but Noah’s personality was really the cherry on top. He’s sassy, shy, and completely lovable, and Xander complements him perfectly. Their chemistry was everything I wanted and more. And don’t even get me started on The cats they immediately stole the show. Pumpkin and Nyx might be my favorite book pets ever. Pumpkin and his big, scary hellcat girlfriend had me laughing the entire time. 🤣Did I immediately reread this ARC because it was that good? Yes. Yes, I did. I refused to admit their story was over, which is exactly why I had to experience it twice. Thius was the perfect mix of humor, romance, spice, and heart, and I enjoyed every second of it. 🖤📚🦇✨
I really loved Noah and Xander and how they finally found their way to one another after Xander spent so long scenting Noah on the air and waiting for his mate. It killed me that Noah was on the run from his terrible ex, and how his parents had rejected him for being gay before that, how he had no one. I love how Xander finally gave him a soft home to land in after everything he had been through. I loved how these two found each other and were finally happy.
I felt like things moved a little quickly throughout the book. I would have liked to spend more time with Xander's colony, and I really hope they're all getting their own books, because I'm already obsessed with them (especially a Cole/Tyler/Ambrose story, please and thank you). I loved Pumpkin and Nyx, that was so fun and adorable. I loved Noah and Xander being cat daddies and how great the four of them were together.
The creature coming after Noah had a lame and predictable cause, but it still made for a formidable villain, so I appreciated that things weren't that simple. I loved Tyler and how he befriended Noah (though that also felt a little fast, especially since they just barely met). Overall, I enjoyed this story and all the characters and would love to read about more of them.
Okie dokie. Where do I start with this book? Honestly, I loved it. It had some darker themes although it's not described as a dark romance nor is it a dark romance but it's got some gory details and a little bit touch him and d!e moments, but it was pretty endearing with a bucket load of instalove and mutual obsession. There are cats who give off main character vibes (definitely need a novella in the future), found family with paranormal tendencies and a narcissistic psycho ex-boyfriend who needs lessons in reading the room. This human x vampire romance had a lot of great qualities, the world building, side characters were awesome, there's mysteries that have you questioning about them which may be in future interconnected books, and I look forward to finding out more! A great paranormal MM romance read, with just over 230 pages, fast-paced, mysterious, a fun book with a glittering over gory moments. Check out the trigger warnings before reading, and go show the author some love because I'm pretty sure it's their debut! Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read your book early! It was amazing!
First off, thank you so much to Kennedy Esther for the chance to read this book early! I loved the characters and the world so much.
We start off with Noah who has just left his extremely toxic ex with nothing but a couple suitcases and his very orange™ cat Pumpkin. Down on his luck and without a roof over his head, Noah miraculously find a room for rent, the only available option around in a town he’s never heard of. The room in Xander’s strangely creepy house is an absolute perfect match…almost too perfect…Moonfell definitely has a few secrets…
Honestly my expectations were low when going into this read, all I knew was there is a gay vampire and I was sold. I am definitely glad I decided to jump into this! Fangs & Fur started off giving me similar vibes as My Roommate is a Vampire (one of my fave books) but queer. I had a lot of chuckles while still tearing up at the heartfelt moments.
I immediately latched onto all the characters (except you richard) and cannot wait to dive more into each of their stories.
Congrats Kennedy Esther on your debut book! What a great intro for your bookish career!
I DNF at 64%, not because it's a bad story, but I somehow couldn't get into it.
MC1 took everything so easily, I had a hard time with that. I understand that he is an author who writes vampire romances, but just because one writes a certain genre doesn't mean they'd just roll over and accept everything that easily.
And the idea that MC2 has been scenting MC1 forever felt kind of hokey?
Yes, I KNOW this is a vampire romance, the whole thing is fantastical, but I think the way it was wiritten is what made me not get on board, as I love the fated mates trope immensely. I think perhaps it was revealed too early on in the story, I would have liked it better had it been more of a slow reveal.
The romance was also very swift, I think as a whole I'd have preferred more things to happen before they both fell into each other's arms. A little bit more mystery, more spooky happenings would have worked a lot bette, the pacing was too fast, too soon & very, very obvious with the cut-off dialog from a side chara that we meet very early on.
I do think this would appeal to a lot of people, it just wasn't my jam.
what a good time it is to tell you all about this book by the incredible kennedy esther.
The way i binged this book- its actually not funny, fangs and fur was such a easy and fun read! Xander and noah themsleves were fast paced yes but it felt completely natural for them to be together, when i tell you the way they are totally enamoured with eachother warms my heart omg. (Did i also mention they have two very cute cats? Cause well they do)
I am sure you wanna know what this book has and let me tell you cause it has everything you need-
-Insta love -vampire x human -moterbikes -protective vampire mmc -red haired fearless mmc -touch starved idiots -CATS AND THEY ARE PURFECT -found family (they are so fun you will love them) -a supernatrual mystery -LOTS OF BITING Wow now see? Does this not sound like a great book to you? And there is so much more just waiting to be discorved.
A large thank you for kennedy! Im so glad i was able to arc read this book it was a blast and i cant wait till i am able to read more of your work.
The plot moves on very fast; it’s an insta-love story. If you're someone who enjoys fast-paced stories and vampires, then this is definitely for you. And I almost cried (iykyk)
This story encompasses romance, thriller, and some horror themes. Pumpkin and Nyx are so adorable; they moved faster than their owners. They are the real MVPs of the story.
Xander was such a devoted mine; from the start, he was already ready to lay the world at Noah’s feet, not that sweet Noah doesn’t deserve it. I am glad he had his back, and all the other members of his colony really came through for them. Harlan was so cute, and I would gladly read a story on him. (He is eighteen😂)
With Noah, I am glad he got away from that scumbag of an ex and actually grew some sort of a backbone towards the end. My heart was in my throat for him all the damn time.
These two are wild with their sexual escapades, I didn’t expect that from how sweet they were especially that chapter!
All in all, I liked it and wanted more of the characters!!
