When two brothers send away for a mail order bride for domestic reasons, they find themselves with more trouble than they bargained for, and each will do anything they can to get out of marrying her! Lizzie Ramsey traveled to Tombstone on her last dollar and a promise. When she arrives to find her dream is nothing more than a domestic nightmare, she sets out to teach the Bodine Brothers a lesson they won't soon forget.
When Lizzie stepped off of the stagecoach in Tombstone, Arizona, she seemed to have been a mail-order bride without a groom. When she goes searching for her groom-to-be, she finds twice as much as she bargained for. Follow Sawyer and his brother, Amos as they search for a lady who will do the domestic chores. What they didn’t know, is exactly who would get the biggest surprise. This is a clean read about owning up to your thoughtless wrongs and making amends. It was comical, full of action, and easily completed in one afternoon. For more mail-order bride stories be sure to also read book one, The Bride Dowry, and book two, The Bride Raffle, in the Western Mail Order Brides series.
Mail Order Brides: The Bride Duel: Book 3 By Samantha Jillian Bayarr
I jut love this series. Each one to me just grabs me more. Two brothers scheme to get a bride there to help with all their domestic things. It kinda backfires on them though. Lizzie means to teach these 2 men a lesson. Neither one wanted to marry. Wonder who will come a head in this little battle? Awesome story. If you haven't read the first 2 your missing out. I tell you in this one i was sure laughing. I couldn't put the book down. I give this book 5 stars.
First-time reading this author. Liked the heroine and how feisty and determined she was. But I really didn't care for the wishy washy hero. But the story was cute and short for reading in between longer books. Sexual content. JudyE
I liked it. Silly to relax by. I was surprised by the ending. I thought it was set up as paybacks for the first duel & expected it to be fake. It wasn't.
