The fifth story in the BBWitches & Scorching Shifters collection.

This is a STANDALONE SHORT. This is NOT a full-length book.
This short ends in a happily ever after with NO cliffhanger!

Melanie Franklin is not the kind of girl to go to fancy fund-raising galas, wear four-hundred dollar dresses or four-inch heels. She'd much rather be in head-to-toe denim with grease under her fingernails and a wrench in hand.

Still, St. Christopher's saved her brother's life, so when they invite her to the gala every year, she feels obligated to attend. She plans to mind her own business, give her speech and get out of the Altamonte Heights Hotel. Then she meets Warren and they instantly hit it off.

Things seem to be taking a turn for the better when Warren is called up to the stage.

Wait. Did they say Warren Reeves ? As in the Reeves' that practically built the hospital through donations? If she didn't belong at the gala, she certainly didn't belong in the arms of a billionaire.

The panicked witch leaves her Prince Charming at the ball, but it's not that easy to shake a tiger off her tail.

This scorching hot short story is filled with fun-seeking heroines and the rugged Alpha shifters that can't get enough of their curves. Be prepared -- I don't leave out any of the dirty little details ;)

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Melanie’s blue-collar charm and Warren’s billionaire tiger persona create an engaging contrast in this gala-set romance. The story highlights themes of belonging and breaking social barriers, with a satisfying dose of steamy moments and heartfelt connection. It’s a grounded but alluring short with strong emotional beats.

There are several short stories in this series of BBWitches and Scorching Shifters. This is the fifth I've read. The first is "UnBEARable Attraction (BBWitches & Scorching Shifters)." They all hang together, but can be read separately.
The story is quite sexy, and the universe the author created is rather neat. Witches require sex to power magic, and having a mate gives a witch more control over her magic. our hero in this story is a billionaire tiger shifter, and our heroine, an auto mechanic who is secretly a witch, gets to see him shift. They meet at a charity gala, flirt, and it seems like they have no way to meet each other again, but don't worry. I really enjoyed this short story.

I would have liked this story much better if there was more to it. Basically it felt like reading one chapter of what should have been a much bigger story. It's a very short read but I wanted to see the "happily ever after" as described in the info about the book. I didn't feel that I got that.

Yummy witch and tiger combo

I am still loving this series, and I find myself snatching the books up just as quickly as they are released. I love that the stories share a world while still each standing alone!

See? I liked this one a lot because it was still in the same kinda category as the others but it was different and Melanie and Warren weren't exactly as in it as the others were in the clan war. It was a romantic sweet read.
