Fairly average book. Predictable plot. Not a fan of the “girl loves a broken boy back to life” motif. The story is sweet but that message is just so toxic.

DNF. Started out ok but grew bored with it quickly. I don’t get all the rave reviews. I put it down one day and realized a week had gone by before I had picked it up again. Slow and boring; kept waiting for a hot affair to erupt but half way through the book I accepted the fact that all I was going to get was the main character describing how she felt around her love interest. Life is too short I had to move on.

Ugly Love / Maybe Someday / Maybe Not (Maybe #1-1.5 included) was a great read by Colleen Hoover. This set consists of; Ugly Love, Maybe Someday, and the novella Maybe Not. Ugly Love was a great read by Colleen Hoover. Colleen Hoover is absolutely amazing. She has a way of writing that will reach into your body and rip out your heart. After completely shredding you into pieces, she pieces you back together slowly until you feel whole again in the end. I loved reading Miles and Tate's story. Miles has a past full of pain and heart break. It's a past that actually makes you understand why he seems so cold. Throughout the whole book you hope that he will figure out that Tate is the woman for him. I absolutely loved this book. Thank you Colleen for writing this absolutely amazing story. Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover was a great read. This is a book that pulls you in right from the beginning. Sydney's birthday also happens to be the day her life completely changes. She finds out her boyfriend has been cheating on her and becomes homeless. Ridge opens his door for her but also winds up opening his heart unknowingly. I loved reading Ridge and Sydney's story and couldn't put the book down. Maybe Not was a great quick read by Colleen Hoover. Warren finds out that he is now going to have a female roommate and he instantly agrees to the idea. He didn't expect the new female roommate to be the cold and calculating Bridgette. They seem to not be able to stand the sight of each other and can barely be caught in the same room as each other. Warren theorizes that with the hate she carries, her capacity for love is even bigger. I loved reading about the beginning of Warren and Bridgette's relationship.

Haven't finished a book this quick in awhile. Every thoughts and emotion embedded in her writing, the doubt, the pain, the joy, I can feel them all. Makes me think that Colleen Hoover knew me and my deepest darkest thought despite me never even meeting her. She understands a little too well.

I love this book, althought i feel sorry for Tate.. but i think Miles did that cause he hasn't been able to move on from his dark past. I also sometimes feel annoyed cause of the steps that Rachel took, and make feelings of gulit always haunt Miles.

I enjoyed the alternating perspectives with different timelines that the author used and the overall message of self-forgiveness is good. The idea that one broken person leads another to be fixed may be dangerous, and the sex scenes didn’t really enhance the content overall. Easy reading overall.
