Lisette, a Faery Princess, eager for a hot night with a tasty treat, sneaks into a mostly mortal realm on halloween and orders herself a hot piece of pumpkin pie girl. But her pumpkin pie isn’t all just sugar and spice. Now Lisette realizes she doesn’t just want seconds, she wants forever.
This is a super spicy short story for Kinktober. Please don’t go into it expecting for anything other than a fun little ride that will make you think questionable thoughts about pumpkin pie.

This cute Halloween novella is the sweet hit I didn't know I needed. A fae princess and a waitress go to the witch matchmaker who owns a bakery. I loved that pies were used to make match. The author had fun with this one and I think most readers will as well. A bonus for creative use of whip cream.
Tropes and Triggers: dual POV, fae, far bargain, Halloween, magic, meet cute, plus size FMC, strangers to lovers

I truly have a love for sentient object romance! I find it so exciting to see just how an author can turn an item into a steamy sexual interaction, often with our characters finding their forever mates along the way.
Now, I’m ALL for why choose, but I loved that our fae was a monogamous fae while her culture leans toward polyamory… or, more like, group orgy style loving. The distinction between the two was such a lovely change.
Our fae princess hopes to find her fated mate; otherwise, she’ll be betrothed to a crusty prince. When the veil between worlds opens on Halloween, she has ONE DAY to find her mate and get them to accept. Drawn to the human world, she steps into a witchy matchmaking bakery and selects her mate by choosing a pumpkin pie.
When the magic officially works and her human fated mate embodies the pumpkin, they have a wild night of stuffing each other’s faces with each other… all while our human is a magical sentient, very large pumpkin pie.
“[I] press my crusty lips against her” takes on a WHOLE new meaning in this book! And luckily, this time, instead of getting stuck with a crusty old prince, she gets her lovely fated mate’s buttery crust lips to kiss and soft, squishy pumpkin pie filling to enjoy. Thank the magic she can regenerate!
Anyway, you should absolutely read this to find out exactly what happens, because our bakery witch had a special clause on this particular pumpkin. You’ll have to read it to find out!
I’m not honestly entirely sure what I just read. This was my first experience with someone made out of pie, and my celiac-disease-having-ass was a little weirded out by the concept. Now, I do love when the fae are weird, so that’s a definite plus here.
Ultimately, it’s a short smutty read with a cute holiday theme to it, and even if foodplay isn’t my thing, it was pretty cute.

This is a cute, spicy, and yes, bonkers love story. An unexpected playful romance.😝 Lisette is a Princess of the Seelie Court. She's a faery, who wants to find her someone. In her world, she knows that she will not find her among the open parties. So her sister, the Queen, allows her to go to the human realm on Halloween. Lisette meets a certain baker who dabbles in magic.👩🏼🍳🪄✨🫓🥮🎂🍩
Meet Anna. A human, who wants to be accepted as she is. She's a curvy gal. She's also looking for love, but for one day, she's in disguise as a pumpkin pie at a bakery. Yes you read correctly. A pie!😄 It's loopy. Unexpected. Kinky. Lisette eagerly picks her pumpkin pie lady and it gets steamy y'all and full of whipped cream.hehe💋♨️🍦😚😋🍦♨️💋
Will it work out? Is it love? This is a short easy read. Both characters are likable. I had fun reading it. It's different. Just in time for Autumn. Happy reading.*•>§<•*🍂🍁🧡❤️🤎🍁🍂

4 stars. A really fun and absurd smutty good time.
I liked this a lot. This is only the second sapphic sentient story that I’ve read and I wish there were more. They’re bonkers and so entertaining. I liked the writing in this and Anna and Lisette were likable leads with great chemistry between them. Lisette is a fae, Anna is a pumpkin pie and let’s just say that the spice between them is very…unique to say the least. Very fun read.
When Lisette is allowed to go to the human realm on Halloween to search for her true love she has no idea what she will find. She know there is a matchmakers bakery and she chooses a pumpkin pie shaped woman named Anna. Her and Anna spend the day getting to know each other quite intimately. Interesting story. Kind of funny if you think about a human turning into a piece of pie!.

I love these short reads about finding your one true love disguised as an object. I could see Anna transform from pie to pie-woman. Just read the story, it will make sense.
It really is about making your own choices, you decide whom you love and I agree wholeheartedly.
Nice short read, lovely characters.

Short, hot, spice-y read. Exactly what I needed in between my reads. It's an interesting plot of a fae going to the human realm on Halloween as she felt a pull to the bakery to find a woman in a form of a pumpkin pie. They are instantly attracted to each other and get to know each other.

This was a cute short read, love the idea of choosing your soulmate through cake. Lisette and Anna only had one night but they still make it work and they looked cute together. You can pick up this novella if you’re feeling overwhelmed by long books; it will bring you back on your reading mojo.
Absolutely delightful sapphic sentient object confection! This is short and spicy and the perfect Halloween/autumn treat for when your brain needs a quick break.
** I received an eARC from the author and am voluntarily leaving an honest review. **
Fast and sexy! I really enjoyed this short story. A fairy (A Midsummer Night's Dream kinda fairy) goes to a different realm to find her mate. Anna is a waitress tired of her regular life and looking for a connection. They meet up because of a 'deal' at a magical cafe. Great sex scenes.
I'll read anything that Ames writes because I know I'll absolutely love it! This was the perfect spicy and super sweet 😏🤭😉 read for an October afternoon! Lisette and Anna's story was perfect!
I received an ARC from Booksprout and I'm willingly leaving a review Short and ... not so sweet, in a good way. Entertaining. If you don't like foul language, this is not for you; it's pretty much straightforward. FF romance.
