This book pulled me right in! I truly fell in love with Willow she is such a bad ass with such a soft heart!
Everyone loves Willow! She will lay her life on the line to protect anyone in need.
She deeply cares about everyone in her life but she will not hesitate to cut you down if you threaten the things she loves most!
Her brothers
Her peace
Or her coffee 😂

Willow is trying to build a relationship with her long lost brother when she finds herself locked in the sights of his best friend Flame.
Flame knows that Willow will be his wife, he just hasn’t told her yet 😏
She doesn’t have time for men, between her freelance rescue missions and opening up her own shop the only male company she has are the men her father sends with her on her missions. She gets along with all of the men her father employs…. Except for Grey.
Little does she know Grey only wants what’s best for her 😝

I decided to step out of my comfort zone and comfort tropes and try something new. I had never read a motorcycle club book… and had read very few why choose. I love supporting indie authors and I found out this author was releasing a book and I decided to give it a read. Thank you to the author for allowing me to arc Found Through Fire.
Now I am normally a Romantasy/romance reader in general and so I had no idea what terms like MC stood for at first or what “church” referred to 😅
Now with all of this being said, I have discovered that I do not particularly like “why choose” as a trope, but I did like the plot. I enjoyed the story all the way up until the literal. “Why choose” moment if you get my drift lol. It’s just not the trope for me… I am more of a love triangle reader. (I’m kinda hoping it will transform into a love triangle in the future books after the ending that it had and the featured characters …but that’s just a me thing 🤣😅🤭)
So anyways I will be doing my review based solely on vibes, characters and the plot in general since I was fully aware that it was a why choose and it’s unfair to rate a book off a trope I don’t like when I knew beforehand, it was in the book upon reading it. (My dislike of the why choose trope will have no bearing on my rating) Now that’s out of the way, let’s talk about the plot.
I enjoyed the story line and the characters. This story is about a young woman who’s essentially a hired hit woman/vigilante due to a traumatic history. She is very close with her family and connects with her long lost brother. This story has multiple POVS. It also has the two MMCs that she has an attraction to. It also has a POV from her actual long lost brother. The FMC is a total bad a** who gives the men in her life a run for their money and is very independent. She has endured a lot of trauma and life altering events for someone her age that has made her into the person she is today. She is eventually faced with a threat that she finds herself not being able to face alone. This new threat has her finding herself accepting help and protection from two very different men that she is drawn to and ends with a plot twist that has an unexpected cliffhanger 🤯 and leaves you with so many questions…
Considering I am not a fan of the Why choose trope as it turns out… I enjoyed the character and the dynamics of the character Flame and our FMC. He is snarky, cocky and hilarious which is a nice match to her independent wit and exuding confidence.
There is another MMC as well. He has a can’t be bothered personality and can be humorous in that overbearing protective type of way.
My favorite character particularly would probably be Smoke out of them all. I would have loved more of him as well. (Maybe a future spin off with a love triangle lol 😜)
So If why choose and motorcycle clubs are your jam especially, here is a new book for you to check out!
The FMC in this book is the MVP of the story imo💅

I will never turn away a book with a badass FMC that turns the men around her into puppy dig simps. I just really like a good reverse harem with a well written woman and men who don't try to smother her with their useless personalities. Found Through Fire was exactly that.

I really liked how richly the characters were written in this. Willow was fierce, capable, and could beat anyone's ass. I loved that she didn't need the men for anything but she allowed them to be around her. It's such a nice take to have a badass FMC stay just as independent throughout the book. The MMCs were also so well done. I liked that Knox and Grey were so completely different both in their personalities as well as the way they originally thought of Willow. They fit so well in the little polycule.

The pacing to the plot is well done. The romance between all the characters is fairly slow burn, slower for the Grey x Willow mashup, but Knox was immediately a simp once he saw video evidence of Willow's contract killing capabilities. I like that we have a slow build up of a suspense plot too; it gives a lot of forward momentum without overpowering the relationship building.

The real shining star for me though was all of the POVs. We aren't just getting POVs for the main characters, we also had a few from friends and family close to our characters. It gave a lot of depth to the story and provided a lot of foundation to our characters' backstories and relationships outside of the polycule.

This does end on a cliffhanger and it kills me that because I'm reading an ARC, I have to wait even longer for a resolution. I will be waiting though, however impatiently, because this was such a great read.

I’m not going to lie… when I started Found Through Fire, I realized I had forgotten what the arc was about, so the first chapter had me feeling a little lost.

But then this book absolutely found its footing.

Once the story got going, I was completely hooked. The relationships and character dynamics are so layered that every new revelation adds another piece to the puzzle. One of my favorite aspects was the multiple POVs. Getting to experience the story through more than just Willow’s eyes gives so much depth to the world and lets you truly understand each character’s motivations.

What really stood out to me was the relationship between Flame, Grey, and Willow. Instead of the typical rivalry you see in a lot of why choose romances, Flame and Grey both recognize that neither of them is enough for Willow on their own. Watching them come to that realization—and seeing their own relationship evolve because of it—made the romance feel refreshingly mature and emotionally satisfying.

And that ending…

What. Just. Happened?!

That cliffhanger completely caught me off guard and left me staring at the page trying to process everything. I genuinely have no idea where this series is headed next, but after that ending, I need the next book immediately.

I am going to say this book is by far one of my top 5 favorites of 2026. I was provided this as an arc read and let me say I am so glad I said yes. I adore Motorcycle Club stories and every single one of these characters are fantastic. This had me crying and giggling the next minute. You have Willow along with her brothers who are bada**! Jackson/Smoke who is the next VP of the MC chapter learns about a family he thought didn’t want him. Grey the older spotter of Willow who is grumpy but lovable. Knox/ Flame is Jackson’s best friend who wants Willow as his Ol lady. One thing is these brothers are protective of their sister. This book will end off on a cliffhanger so get ready to dive into book 2. I do can not wait to read more.

I consumed this book in 24 hours. I could not put it down. From the beginning the fmc is kicking ass. I’m not normally a fan of why choose romance but I enjoyed how this was written. The romance is secondary to the main action taking place in the story in my opinion. I kept wondering how the author was going to end the book, going back and forth in my thoughts on who I thought the end villain would be. I still am not 100% sure but I definitely didn’t see what was presented coming! Now I need more!!!

This was SO good—I literally could not put it down.

If you’re looking for a story with a strong, badass FMC, look no further because she delivered everything she needed to give and then some. I was hooked on her from the start and just loved watching her step into her power.

And can we talk about the reverse harem for a second? Because YES. Both men had me completely hooked. They each brought something different to the table, and I loved how they balanced each other out while giving her exactly what she needed.

Honestly, there wasn’t a single thing about this book I didn’t enjoy. The characters, the dynamic, the energy—it all just worked for me. This is one of those reads that pulls you in and doesn’t let go until the very last page.

I came in expecting an MC romance, but Found Through Fire delivered so much more. Willow is fierce, hilarious, loyal, and the kind of FMC you can't help but root for. The banter had me snickering, and the emotion in this story runs deep. The action never lets up, and that ending? I closed the book and immediately needed the next one.

If you love found family, motorcycle clubs, badass heroines, and stories that can make you laugh one minute and punch you in the heart the next...don't sleep on this one. 😉

This why chose, MC romance was giving everything and more! Willow is such a baddie. She has been through some things in her short life and she has the biggest heart, smartest brain and will not hesitate to ☠️ if needed. She may be tiny, but she is fierce and proves it over and over again. She may also be inexperienced in certain areas…but then enters Knox (her brothers best friend) and Grey (her dad’s employee). There is not a lot of spice in this book, but there is tension 🫠

I am impressed in what this indie author has created and I’m eagerly awaiting book two.

I was honored to be a Beta Reader/ARC for this book. Absolutely could not put it down. The writer brought Willow, her bothers, her parents, and the rest of the characters to life. I finished this book in ONE. SINGLE. DAY.

Actually, let me rephrase that. I DEVOURED this book in one day. I barely slept because every time I told myself, “Okay, one more chapter,” something happened that made it physically impossible to put down.

So first thank you, J. Addison Wahl, for trusting me with an ARC of Found Through Fire. It was an absolute privilege to get to experience this story early.

One of my favorite things about reading is when a book stops feeling like words on a page and starts feeling like a place you somehow get to live in for a little while. That’s exactly what happened here.

I didn’t just read this story, I disappeared into it.

The opening completely broke my heart. You could feel the grief, the trauma, and the weight the FMC carried before she ever said much at all. I settled in expecting a beautiful story about healing that was a slower but steady read. BUT ABSOLUTELY NOT, THINK AGAIN.

Every twist made me question what I thought I knew. Every reveal made me rethink everything I’d read before it. By chapter five, I wasn’t just trying to finish the book because it was good. I was trying to finish it because I genuinely had to know.

What impressed me most wasn’t even the plot. It was the people. Every time the POV changed, I found myself completely stepping into that person’s shoes. I wasn’t reading about them. I was becoming them. Their fears became mine. Their hope became mine. Their frustration became mine. I found myself smiling when they smiled, anxious when they were in danger, and whispering, “Please don’t do that” more than once.

That’s the kind of writing that keeps me turning pages.

The FMC? Absolutely unforgettable. She’s fierce without trying to prove it. Strong without losing her heart. Funny, resilient, and the kind of woman who reminds you that being vulnerable and being powerful can exist at the same time.

And the relationships. OH.MY.GOD. I loved every single one of them. The family dynamic felt just like home. The banter felt real. The chemistry had me grinning like an idiot. The tension had me holding my breath. Even the quiet moments somehow mattered just as much as the action.

Then there’s the chaos and the fun. Stalkers. Mercenaries. Biker gangs. Secrets. Twists that made me audibly gasp. Every single time I thought I’d figured it out, this book gently took my theory, laughed at me, and threw it out the window.

And then THAT. ENDING.

I closed the book and literally just sat there. No scrolling. No starting another book. Just staring at the wall while my brain tried to process what had just happened. Reminding myself to breathe as if I just witnessed the WORST heartache of my life. And that’s my favorite kind of ending. The kind that refuses to let you move on.

So now here I am, emotionally attached to fictional people, emotionally damaged that it’s over, and desperately hoping this isn’t the last time we get to step into this world.

Because if book two is happening, I’ll absolutely be first in line.

I am so glad I said yes to this ARC because this book completely stole my heart.

This is a slow burn done right. If you’re expecting spice from the very beginning, this isn’t that kind of story. Instead, J. Addison Wahl takes the time to build relationships that feel genuine, making you fall in love with these characters right alongside them. By the time the romance finally starts paying off, every moment feels earned.

Willow is one of my favorite FMCs I’ve read in a long time. She’s fierce, independent, and the definition of resilient. Everything she’s been through has only made her stronger, and I loved watching her refuse to let her past define her. She walks into every room with quiet confidence, and I was rooting for her from the very beginning.

Then there’s Knox… the man falls first, falls hard, and isn’t afraid to show it. Watching him fall in love with Willow was one of my favorite parts of the entire book. He’s protective without being overbearing, patient with her healing, and knows exactly what he wants.

And Grey? I was convinced there was no way the author could make me love him after meeting Knox. I was wrong. As more of his story unfolded, I completely understood him. His character growth was one of the biggest surprises of the book, and by the end, I adored him just as much.

The chemistry between all of them is incredible. This story proves you don’t need constant spice to create tension. Every glance, every conversation, and every moment together had me kicking my feet and wanting more.

The pacing was fantastic. I never found myself bored or wanting to skim ahead. Every chapter added something meaningful, whether it was developing the characters, expanding the relationships, or moving the story forward.

I honestly don’t have any real complaints. This was one of those books where I finished the last page and immediately wanted the next one.

My only question is…

J. Addison… how could you do that to us?! 😭 That cliffhanger was absolutely criminal, and now I’ll be impatiently waiting for book two.

The first three chapters had me emotional. That letter in the box? Yeah... I was tearing up.
You could feel the heartbreak, the trauma the FMC lived through, and the grief she was carrying around with her. She came across as this sweet, quiet woman with maybe a little internal rage simmering under the surface.

I went into this almost completely blind because that's my preferred reading experience. I assumed I was settling in for a healing journey full of grief, growth, and emotional damage.

Then chapter four showed up and said, "Absolutely not." HOLY SHIT was I wrong.

The plot hit me with a twist and reveal that completely changed the direction of the story. The FMC may be small, but mighty doesn't even begin to cover it And I mean that in the least fantasy way possible. She is genuinely one of the most badass, strong, witty, and funny FMCs I've read in a long time. This woman does not need a man to save her, IN fact the men need saving from her ha

Then enter the family: four brothers and a father that any girl would kill to have. Protective without being overbearing, loving without being controlling, and absolutely wrapped around her finger while still giving her the space to be independent and handle her own business.

But then the MMCs enter the chat.

We have Gray, the work associate, and Knox—aka Flame—the biker MC man himself.

And then there's a mysterious stalker...

Gray and Knox are both possessive in that fictional-man way that has readers kicking their feet and ignoring red flags for entertainment purposes. And the spice... Hot!

This book is packed with twists, turns, reveals, and plot swerves that had me repeatedly saying, "Oh shit."

We're talking stalkers, contract killers, mercenaries, biker gangs, and enough chaos to keep me glued to the pages.

And that ending?!

What the actual fu**. I NEVER saw that reveal coming. The cliffhanger was criminal, and while I may be emotionally damaged, I am officially locked in and desperately need book two.

From the second paragraph, I was completely zoned in and already knew this was going to be a good book. Between all the chaos, bloodshed, and stabbing, you can't help but get sucked right into the story. Maybe check those TW if you aren’t into that kinda stuff haha.

I am an absolute sucker for a badass FMC, and the author delivers that tenfold. Willow (Will for short) is an absolute chaos demon, and honestly, her family would be the first to agree. I loved that the author didn't just tell us who Willow was but showed us through the flashbacks. We get so much insight into everything that shaped her into the fierce, unapologetic woman she is today. There's a lot to unpack in those moments, but if you're anything like me and completely immersed in the story, you'll be begging for even more details. Willow quickly became one of my favorite FMCs. She takes no shit from anyone, gives no shits either, and somehow manages to be both completely unhinged and incredibly lovable. She's officially my new book best friend!

SPOILERS:
Now, let's talk about the romance. Does Willow need a man? Absolutely not. But watching the chemistry between her, Grey, and Knox? I was completely invested. The tension was everything. And when that fuck it moment finally came.. it was chefs kiss! And that ending... uggghhh. I just knew, KNEW, something was going to happen at that party. I had all my money on the club girls being behind whatever went down, but wow... I could not have been more wrong!! And Knox... man. I have absolutely zero words for him. That cliffhanger had me squealing, and now I'm equal parts excited and terrified about what it means for Book 2. I need the next book immediately because I have to know what happens next for Willow. Will Knox be redeemed?! Or will that cliffhanger surprise change everything?!

I’m so glad that I took a chance on this ARC. This book was such a whirlwind, and in a good way!

First, this was one of the best slow burns I have read in a while. I’m not one for a slow burn, but hot damn, if the tension, teasing and broodiness didn’t build up! Even was screaming “just get it on already!” 😂

Second, I love an FMC that is such a badass and can hold her own. Finding out that she saved people made me just want to read more of her journey.

Third, these men are HOT! Military and MC?!?! Whew, even Jackson seemed hot and we are only reading about Grey and Knox. Know was the perfect possessive golden retriever and Grey balanced it out with his broodiness and dark vibes. I’m a huge Grey fan😍

The ending?!??? WHAT?!?!?! Like I had to stop, set my Kindle down and just wring my hands for a little bit. It was like a bomb was dropped on me. I had to remember there is a second book.

I will say, at the beginning, the boom dragged for me. It took me awhile to fully get into it. That’s just me. I also didn’t like the fact that the term “idiots” was mentioned over and over when she referred to her brothers. I know that’s what she called them, just didn’t like that it was constantly mentioned throughout the book. Overall, I gave it a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating and a 🌶️🌶️ spice!

Everything in this book was amazing and I just kept getting drawn in I haven't been able to put it down have either been reading on my phone or tablet while at work and at home.

I received Found Through Fire as an ARC read and was blown away by the incredible journey that awaited me. I embarked on this book with an open mind, ready to be amazed, and it truly delivered, offering a rich tapestry of mercenaries, biker gangs, assassins, stalkers, and a Found Family that will capture your heart. The twists and turns were expertly woven, and the why choose element added to the excitement. But that ending left me breathless and yearning for more. I am eagerly waiting for book 2!

It took me a few chapters to settle into all of the POVs, but once the story narrowed its focus, I was hooked. Willow is a strong FMC who can more than hold her own, Gray is perfectly grumpy, and Knox absolutely stole the show. His internal monologues had me laughing and highlighting way too many passages. The chemistry felt natural, the suspense kept building. And now the first book isn’t even out and I NEED the second one like right now.

I normally don't read the backs of books and go in blind. With this one, that will definitely throw you for a few loops! It is VERY slow burn and for the first 50% of the book you won't immediately know who your MMC is. BUT keep going! It has a cliffhanger but you don't want to miss out on this!
