"I’ll never forgive you for this. I’ll never, ever, ever forgive you for leaving me with your fucking mess."
The final part of the Cold Steel MC trilogy...
They've managed to win over Samantha's father, but there's a bigger problem now: Boon's father. He violently tears Samantha's family apart, and she has no idea what to do. Boon has a plan though. He's leaving. He's running away to Mexico, and he's never coming back. He simply can't face his own father.
I have mixed feeling about this third and final book, when I started this trilogy I believed since there were 3 books and 3 girls they would have a book each, I know, I know I could have checked but it honestly never occurred to me, anyway the cliffhanger at the end of the first book 'Touch' took me by surprise and while I'm not a fan of what is basically one book being split up, in this case into three I continued on, all the books were available and on kindle unlimited. The second book 'Past' was, in my opinion better than the first and it ended on a huge, and I do mean huge cliffhanger so I couldn't wait to start this, the third and final book. I don't know if my expectations were too high but I felt a little disappointed in this book, part of this is due to the fact that I'm sick to death of the TSTL females that plague so many romance books and I'm sorry to say that Samantha now falls into that category, I tried telling myself that's she's young, she was emotional but it didn't help. If you're more tolerant than me regarding this then you'll be ok, I have to say that I totally loved the epilogue so it ended well for me.
This is the 3rd book in this novella series and really all 3 books could have been just one long book. It was a good story line though and I enjoyed the characters.
The final book in this novella trilogy, and I was not disappointed!! I was nervous that Boon was really going to just walk away. Especially after everything that happened in a matter of what, two days?! I flew through this one because I needed to know what happened next! I loved the ending, Boon's new occupation. And I could feel how much Samantha had grown from book one. I will definitely be checking out more of Meg Jackson!!
