This book provides insight into a registered dietitian's first year in private practice. Her experience reads as a story and provides familiarity.
What is different in the book compared to others I have read so far is not only the story-like telling of her experience but also it provided resources of what to do and not to do which helped provide direction for me as I was starting up my own private practice. Highly recommend this short read.

Not exactly what I expected but the title is fitting. I enjoy reading about people achieving their dreams and accomplishing goals, and that’s really all there is here.
I enjoyed this quick read! Amy covered topics that aligned with my curiosities about starting my own practice in a straightforward manner. I found myself building more confidence in navigating through the transition of employee to self-employed. She provided great insight on what worked and didn’t work when developing her ideal work/life balance and was honest about her successes and shortcomings. Along with her personal stories, Amy shared great business recommendations based on her entrepreneurial journey as a dietitian, bee keeper, and artisan.
