Three timeless tales of love in the Australian Outback by bestselling author Barbara Hannay.

Adopted: Outback Baby

Nell Ruthven thought she'd missed her chance to be a mom when, at age nineteen, she was forced to give up her baby for adoption. Now, twenty years on, Nell's discovered she has a grandson in need of care. And her teenage sweetheart, cattleman Jacob Tucker, is in town...They never thought they'd see each other again. But taking care of baby Sam gives them a second chance--maybe even a second chance to fall in love....

Outback Wife and Mother

Man of the land Fletcher Hardy welcomed a diversion like Ally Fraser during his tedious business trip in Melbourne--until he found himself falling for her. As a boy he'd learned that city women were unsuited to Outback life when his mother fled their family cattle station. He'd vowed his bride had to be born and bred in the bush. So he returned to Wallaroo and tried to forget. He thought having his four-year-old godson to care for would help. Until Ally turned up as Connor's new nanny, with the intention of proving that she could survive the Outback and be the perfect wife and mother!

Rancher's Twins: Mum Needed

Nanny Holly O'Mara has formed a close bond with her late cousin's little twins. When their estranged father, rough, rugged Australian cattleman Gray Kidman, arrives to take them home to the outback, Holly senses that he is out of his depth.

Holly soon falls for mysterious Gray. Seeing him light up his children's world makes her spirits leap and even begins to heal her own emotional bruises. Yet something is making Gray push her away....With her help, will he find the courage to love again?

This is a book with short stories by Barbara Hannay all set in the Australian outback. One about a young girl falling for her childhood, sweetheart, and having to give up their baby. 20 years later they come back together for their daughter funeral and too raise their grandson. Story two A young designer and cattle man fall for each other. Last about one about a father reunited with twins after the death of his ex wife and falls for their nanny his ex wife cousin. Again all three were great reads.

3 predicable stories in 1 book, which I didn't realise until I'd started the book! I predicted the outcome of each story in the first chapter, I was speed reading through most of the book!
