Indomitable Alex Jansen will not be denied the one fortunate twist in her unfortunate first eleven years, even if that means going on a journey that could cost her, her life. Set in the winter of 1978 and spring of 1979, in the backdrop of Maine, Alex Jansen discovers more about life in five months than most of us are willing to learn in years. With a will to take a stand and find what she is looking for, she will show her father that a daughter’s spirit is created by the relationships that form our lives.

The novel Inside The Circle by randall ‘Jay” Andrews is a powerful reminder that strength of character is not defined by age. Alex Jansen, the eleven-year-old leading lady, proves that children are often excellent judges of character and the “simple” views of children are often the ones that make the most sense. This story has every element of a great novel: suspense, action, romance, angst and poignancy, characters I fell in love with and an amazing dog. I became emotionally involved while reading this book, sitting on the edge of my seat, rooting for the characters, wanting to wring the author’s neck at certain climactic points, all indicators this book, Inside The Circle, is everything a great book should be. Well done Mr. Andrews!

Rock n roll lifestyle signs conscience

Georgia Angel is a reluctant rock star with a heart and a conscience. You will fall in love with him and his escapades. Lighthearted and fun but touches on serious issues that give pause, a great book for travelling or vacation reading.

The lead character, Alex, is an endearing soul who stands strong through many challenges. The book has a lovely, sentimental feel to it, and it is will worth reading.
