HOPE HARBOR IS HEATING UP THIS SPRING…

A flirty forbidden romance her brother can never know about.

From the New York Times bestselling romance author of Bonfire & Bliss Bookstore comes a forced proximity forbidden romance between a young single mom and her brother's off-limits former pro-hockey player best friend—with a town auction twist...This gorgeous first edition trade paperback features colored stenciled edges.

Forbidden love is more fun.

Everyone thinks they know Billie Walker. Single mom, little sister, aspiring event planner. But she barely knows herself. The one thing she's definitely not? Dating her brother's best former hockey player and town playboy Eli Davis.

Until she gets roped into bidding on him at Hope Harbor’s dating auction. Now the Liberty Ladies— the town busy bodies with hearts of gold—have five dates to convince Billie that Eli is the man for her.

Raised by a single mom, Eli knows Billie needs help more than romance. So rather than working to sweep her off her feet, he makes it his mission to help Billie discover herself, outside of being a mom and sister.

But as their dates of discovery begin, intertwined fingers at the Daffodil Festival quickly turn into sweet kisses by the light of the fireflies, and Billie begins to fall for Eli. Can a secret relationship ever blossom into forever?

O MY HEART, THIS SERIES!!! We're back in Hope Harbor for book three, and I couldn't be happier! Eli and Billie!!! The single mama and the gorgeous hockey player?! ADD IN her adorable little boy Quinn, the best banter, a whole cast of lovable small-town characters, ALL the laughter, and spice that is HOT as hell!!! I loved every single bit of this! 😍🔥❤️

Eli Davis!!! The gorgeous, blonde, former hockey player who finds himself back home in Hope Harbor after a career-ending injury. Now the owner of the sweetest little ice cream barn and hockey rink, this man is just BEAUTIFUL inside and out. He has a heart of pure gold, always showing up for the people around him and never hesitating to help someone in need. But underneath all that goodness is a man carrying the weight of feeling like he let people down and the fear of losing it all. Eli deserves every bit of happiness and love!

And Billie Walker. She's beautiful, strong, caring, and always putting everyone else first. She is the most devoted, loving mama. This woman has spent her life taking care of everyone else and has never truly known what it feels like to be loved, cherished, spoiled, and taken care of herself. She's never had someone put HER first. If anyone deserves to be loved BIG, she does!

The connection between these two is SO obvious but they both have their reasons for holding back. Billie worries Eli would never want someone as inexperienced as her, while Eli is caught up worrying about what his best friend, and Billie's brother, will think. Enter the town bachelor auction! She wins five dates with this gorgeous man! The banter, the flirting, the tension... it just keeps building! I loved watching them go from friends to SO much more, and when these two finally give in?! THE PASSION!!! I especially loved watching Billie embrace and own her sexuality, and Eli making sure she knew just how wanted she was. And that mouth of his?! SO freaking HOT!!! 🔥

And sweet little QUINN!!! This boy is an absolute DOLL! Hysterical, so sweet, and completely starstruck by his favorite hockey player, Eli! Watching these three slowly build a bond and become their own little family was EVERYTHING. So many tears!!

And the town's characters! The Liberty Ladies will have you rolling in laughter and the Hope Harbor Town Chat, absolutely hysterical! Seeing our past couples and hints to the next, EVERYTHING! (Omg, the derby race scene, IYKYK! You will die laughing!!)

I LOVED these two SO much! Two people who deserved every bit of the love, happiness, and the beautiful little family they found together. Another absolutely PERFECT book in this AMAZING series, Brittanee!!! Nowwwww, BRING ON ROSIE AND FLETCHER!!! ❤️

I knew going into this book that Eli was going to be my favorite, and I was absolutely right. I loved every single second of this story!

First of all, Eli?! This man is the definition of a golden retriever MMC, and I am completely obsessed with him. The reason behind him going to book club? Adorable. The fact that he actually reads? Even better. But when he started learning sign language so he could communicate with Fletcher’s son? And don’t even get me started on him planting flowers for Billie. This man has my entire heart.

Billie was such an amazing FMC. I loved that she was shy, and watching her relationship with Eli develop was everything I wanted it to be. One of my favorite things was how she recognized that Eli was constantly taking care of everyone around him, but nobody was really taking care of him. The fact that she saw that side of him just made me love them together even more.

And Quinn?! Oh my goodness. I absolutely adored him! The relationship between Eli, Billie, and Quinn was so incredibly sweet.

The small town setting, found family, best friend’s little sister trope, and all the familiar faces made this book feel like coming home. I loved seeing Daisy again, and the little pets were such a fun addition. Mighty deserves his own special mention because I absolutely loved him! 😂

I also loved that we got a little hockey mixed into this story! And the nickname Eli has for Billie?! My heart couldn’t handle it.

This book had everything I love in a romance. The sweetest moments, an MMC who loves with his whole heart, an FMC you can’t help but adore, and a found family that makes you wish you could be part of it.

I already have this book preordered, and after finishing it, I am even more excited to have a physical copy on my shelves. I cannot wait for the final book in this series, although I am absolutely not ready to say goodbye to Hope Harbor!

Thank you so much to Putnam Books and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review! ❤️

I swear, every time I think I couldn’t possibly love Brittanée Nicole’s books more, she goes and proves me wrong. 🥹💕

This was by far the softest book of hers I’ve read, and oh my goodness, I loved it. Billie and Eli just needed that tenderness so badly, and it WORKED.

Billie spends so much of her life dedicated to being a mom and taking care of everyone else that she’s kind of lost herself along the way. And Eli, after having to retire from hockey because of an injury, is figuring out who he is without the thing that’s been such a huge part of his life. I loved how he brought that playful side of Billie back out, reminding her that she’s allowed to want things for herself, too.

But honestly, Eli and Quinn?! 🥹 The way that man showed up for Quinn, no matter what was happening between him and Billie, just melted me. He wasn’t trying to win Billie over by being good to her son. He genuinely loved that little boy, and you could feel it. He was all in from the start, and I LOVED that.

And the fact that he calls her Firefly? And Lucciola?! EXCUSE ME. How am I supposed to be normal about that?! 😭💕

I think what I loved most was that neither of them had to fight to be loved. They could just be themselves and find so much happiness together. It was sweet and playful and just so full of love.

Five stars. So much swooning.💕

A huge thank you to Putnam and NetGalley for providing me with an advance copy in exchange for an honest review.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

I think maybe this just isn't my kind of book. I believe it's meant to be a palate cleanser, easy, feel-good type of read, but I couldn't get past all the little details that were inconsistent, unexplained, or didn't make any sense. For example, the only hockey team New England has is already in Boston... the Ryan brothers want to start ANOTHER New England team, right? So why on earth would Eli have to move to BOSTON? Would he not have to move to literally any other city in New England where there isn't already a professional hockey team? (Plus Billie just deciding she's moving to Boston and uprooting Quinn's life without even talking to him or taking him into account at all???) Also, Billie kept saying she only worked at the brewery on weekends, yet every time she was at the brewery... it was a weekday. And then, after a few months of hanging out and it never being mentioned, all of a sudden Eli has been playing hockey with Quinn for weeks, and he's really good? Why is this literally the first we're hearing of it?

Idk, I think I started on the wrong foot with this book too when Eli noticed Billie didn't have pants on and his immediate thought was "wow, she's beautiful." Like... sir, she looks exactly the same as she has for the full year you've known her, just without pants....

Yeah, not for me.

Hope Harbor is one of my absolute favorite towns, I wish I could live in this town. However, I’m not sure I would be able to pick which MMC I would want for myself! Brittanee Nicole has done such a spectacular job creating this world and filling it with the perfect townspeople !

“My biggest secret definitely would have been this crush I have on my best friend’s little sister.”

Eli Davis and Billie Walker were such an adorable couple, I’ve been rooting for them since they were both introduced to this series and seeing them finally get their chance was so fun!

Eli is just trying to find his community and where he belongs as a retired NHL Player. He was trying to have that community revolve around his best friends sister but sometimes you just can’t ignore a strong connection! Billie is a single mom who wants to find the her who isn’t just “Quinn’s mom” or “Jesse’s little sister”. Spending time with Eli helped her find that and a love she deserved!

“There’s nothing more magical than a spring evening at the barn when the sky is a deep indigo and the fireflies dance around the fields.”

🔥: “Be rough. Put me where you want me.”

It was so great to be back in Hope Harbor! I was so ready for this couple after the way book 2 ended and the way Brittanée set their potential story up.

Eli was everything she needed. He never rushed, always supported & was just there. In every way, no matter what.

The found family in Brittanée’s books are unmatched. The girl groups could run the world lol I’m forever obsessed with seeing sprinkles from our other favorite series too 😍

The Easter eggs and storyline set up for book 4 has me chomping at the bit to get it. I knew from book 1 that the next couple would happen, but after 3 books worth of build up.. i literally can not wait!

This is an amazing story of two people missing something in their lives and their pieces fitting so perfectly together.

It was all about the small moments for me. Kitchen dances.....melted my heart. The way it made them happy to make each other smile. He listens to her, really listens to her and finds a way to make her life better, lighter.

This is a slow burn, with less spice than I've come to accustomed to for a BN book, but it's appropriate for this story.

The lines in Italian were hot 🔥 and I can't wait to experience it again in audio.

So far this is my favorite of Hope Harbors books.

Eli has been my favorite since we met him in book 1, and his story was so worth the wait. I love how much he loves Billie and Quinn and just completely embraced their world. Billie’s delightful and it was great to see her come into her own and get her spark back. This was such a special book. I have loved every second of my time in Hope Harbor. I’m sad we’re almost at the end, but the set up is brilliant. I cannot wait!

Thank you to Putnam for the ARC!

This was good. I really enjoyed this book. I haven’t read the other two Hope Harbor books yet. I love the small-town vibes and the brothers’ best friend. I liked how they decided to “fake” date. This was a heart warming story that showed how a guy can show up for someone else’s kid and fall both the child and the mom. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the ARC.
