Just a couple notes: 1. Plain regular white sauce, the base of sooooo many yummy sauces was omitted. I use cornstarch & milk, in the proportions on the box (medium thickness is 2 Tablespoons per cup liquid. I leave room for 1/4 c. wine which I add at the end). This can become cheese sauce, herb sauce, etc. If you begin with flour & butter, cook your roux until tender and the color you want, then add milk and seasonings. (+ wine!) 2. Worcestershire sauce has anchovy paste to help with the umami flavor. 3. Don't use homemade mayonnaise if you are making potato (or pasta) salad or sandwiches to be eaten away from refrigeration. Those tasty, nutritious eggs will breed all kinds of pathogens. Best to enjoy those tomato sandwiches at home. 4. All caps in your instructions means you are yelling at us. It is jarring; can you fix that in an update? Please? Recipes look very tasty, I am making several soon. I'm especially making the Nutella-type spread! Yummmm...hazelnuts...drool... I have attempted to make it before. The results were not edible. Of course, I didn't have this recipe yet! By the way: it appears the author really did write this book, it is NOT full of stolen blog entries, poorly attacked by a thesaurus to make it seem original, or any of those other stunts people will do to avoid actually writing. It is a good booklet; well organized, with photographs and proper, easy to understand English. Highly recommended. 9/10 unicorns

TOC has listings of recipes, not in any specific order. What I like is that these are everyday condiments that cost a bit of money at the store. You can control the sodium and sugars also. Each recipe starts with a title, medium size color photo and List of ingredients and you should be able to substitute for your healthier dietary needs: low fat, low sodium, low sugar and fresh vs canned items. Directions are given and they tell you how to store the item. There is NO nutritional information. Can't wait to try a few salad dressings. A KEEPER for being able to make dressings at home.
This is a book I can use! I am always running out of things I need to create some of my signature dishes and this will help me alot! I have discovered too that I can use alternative low carb sweeteners in the recipes that call for "sweet".. what a $ saver! Thank you!!

The author's grammar is horrible, which makes what little text there is difficult to understand in one instance. In addition, there is nothing new or innovative in the book.

A quick read. Recipes are well written and easy to follow. I appreciated them. I don't live in town and at times when you don't have the sauce you would like, you can whip one up quickly.
Nice to have simple condiment recipes in one location and BIG PLUS...pictures! Even though they are surprisingly simple the flavor profiles were on point.
Super short but has common condiment recipes in this little cook book if you are looking to make items from scratch. I will be trying a few of these recipes out.
