Keegan Meeks is making up for lost time and her current goal is to erase memories of 20 years of abuse as Cyrus' prisoner. Cynical DIRE scientist Clint Robinson is looking for an old-fashioned HEA that includes the 1950's mom prototype. When they argue over choices, Keegan storms out and into danger and has to defend herself from a random mugger or potential kidnapper.
When the wedding party hears about Keegan's scuffle, they're reminded of Belle's information on the madam's plans and want to postpone. Clint argue to continue and Mitchell assigns Clint as Keegan's minder in addition to letting them know the hunt is on for a DIRE insider related to Cyrus Matheson. Meanwhile Clint and Keegan's prickly relationship is haunted by similarities between Cyrus and Clint.
The swan song for this fun series tweaked their formula having so many agents on board at once and reversing the romance with a kick-a** female leading the festivities and the male in no way capable of the physicality typical of the series. Having an internal hunt played well for conflict and as a farewell with satisfying closure to the series.

wow! I couldn't stop reading this book! I did stop at 3 am to get sleep but then finished it riding in the car on the way to work! there are a few twists in the story, I shouldn't be surprised, it was like the others, when you think you have it figured out....Nope! I am sad for this series to end. The action, adventure, love, hurt, betrayal and devotion these characters go through, I went with them as I read the story. I was absorbed into the story. love the series and I will read them again and again..... thank you Joni Hahn! I look forward to you next adventure you share with us!

Clint and Keegan
I am sad that this is the last book in this series but it finished with a bang. Clint and Keegan are a great fit, Clint with his scientific mind and Keegan with her wild side , they fuse together perfectly. Lots of twist and turn in this book. Lots of surprises and lots of WTH gasps from me. All and all though, a very good series and I will miss all the DIRE agents. I look forward to seeing what Joni has in store for us next.

Definitely one of the most amazing books of the series! Shocking secrets found out and Agent U7: Keegan is definitely a tear worthy book on some parts. Joni Hahn did a stunning job with this book!! Without a doubt this is a 5 star book for me!

Bitter sweet read. The action continues in this amazing book. So sad this is the last in the series.

As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end. The Agents of D.I.R.E series has provided years of action, suspense and romance with super agents, family drama and loads stunning revelations. So what was left to do but add a female super agent?! Keegan, though at times slightly annoying, fit the bill perfectly as the most super agent of them all. Her love/hate relationship with nerdy Clint Robinson goes through unbelievable extremes at the most inappropriate times all while Riordan and Natalie are about to marry. But not only Clint and Keegan's drama keep the pair from marrying. Cyrus and The Madam are at it again and this time the agents will make the biggest sacrifice to take them down. It's all are nothing and some won't survive. Action packed with surprises to the end. Everything but the kitchen sink is thrown in for good measure. The series ends with shock and awe.

Clint is the egghead behind all the agents enhancements. But he has also been taking care of his body and he is one sexy Einstein!
Keegan spent the majority of her life in captivity being abused by the DIRE agency's enemy. She has missed out on so much of life that she is seizing the day and making her own rules. But is she putting herself at a bigger risk. Sleeping with who she wants, when she wants may be liberating her but it's not exactly fulfilling and Clint is not above calling her out on it!
Lots of twists and turns and not a few WHT moments, especially when the Madame and her relationship to the team is exposed! Sad to see the series end and I intentionally strung out reading this last book as I wasn't ready to let go of my superheroes!

Loved this series
I have never read anything from Joni Hahn before reading The D.I.R.E. Agency Series and I have to say I loved all of them I am only sorry to see them ended. I will definitely be reading more of her books, I can only hope that they are as good. Thanks again for the great books.

Agent U7: Keegan
Joni Hahn has done an excellent job with this series. Keegan is the first female D I R E agent and how she got there is exciting and fascinating reading. I highly recommend this series it is absolutely amazing.
