Catherine Downen is the author of 9 young adult novels in both the genre of fantasy and contemporary fiction. She graduated from Bradley University in 2019 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Much like how her characters find themselves through epic journeys, she has found her calling and put up her engineering cap to be a high school librarian where she has the honor of coaching the speech team and working with students every day.
