Forty Below In The Shade : Stories From The Northwest

Rate this book
These twenty stories come from the imaginations of the ten writers who make up the Thunder Bay Writers Guild. Their subject matter is as diverse as twenty thermometer readings between January and July on the chest of the Sleeping Giant. These are stories of love and murder, mayhem and grace; of spirits and spaceships, memories and reflections. You now hold them in your hands, we hope they touch your heart.

As one of the ten authors in this book what continues to amaze me even years later is the quality and diversity of our writing. The comments we got most was that there was something for every kind of reader in the book. Being a short story anthology, many readers chose to read a story a day and remarked on the delight of having a different style of writing, different genre etc to read each day.
