I’m always researching dream interpretations. Over ten years, I’ve recorded over a thousand dreams in my journals. I’ve read countless books on dream symbology. Some of them make more sense than others.
With Tabitha Zalot’s “Dreams” book, you learn more about dreams than simple definitions. Zalot pushes the topic further with dream theories, REM, and scientific studies. This book invokes new questions I have about dreams:
“Why do we dream?” “What are our dreams telling us?” “Where do our dream images come from?”
FACING DEMONS
The dream symbols chapter interpreted problematic entities that have appeared in my dreams: demons. According to Zalot, demons represent anxiety, fear, and our hidden, dark selves blocking us from success.
I’ve been in a pretty tight spot recently, fearing change and whatnot. I’m glad Zalot sorted this translation out for me. Now, I can destroy my demons and move on with my life.
CONCLUSION
Zalot’s dream book is a great beginner’s guide to understanding the dream world. It provides an extensive chapter on all you’ve witnessed in your dreams.
The only concept I disagree with Zalot is dreams as coincidences. Coincidences are synchronicities we don’t understand yet.
What is reality? Which reality is true? Dreams go beyond our basic logical understanding. They are connected to our higher selves buried deep within us. Dreams may be abstract, but they only represent truths of our inner realities.
Very short but I enjoyed reading it. Would recommend to anyone curious about the dream world. I do feel like other books have more information than this one.
