As Graham Williams tries to find a way to convince his fake girlfriend, Abigail Thomas, to marry him by the end of the year or lose his father's $7 billion company, Abigail tries to keep her head on straight and remember that this is a job. She is an actor, but the sex they had was no act on her part. She isn't too sure about how Graham felt about it, but she decides to think of it as a fringe benefit of the job he hired her for. As his fake girlfriend, all Abbs has to do is convince Graham's parents that their love is real. $100,000 for two month's work is a good deal--especially living in a penthouse condo in Malibu with one of the most handsome men she has ever met.
But Graham doesn't feel like he thought he would. As a player, he never had a problem getting women...or getting rid of them. Now he has someone living with him and he can't seem to get her out of his head. She was perfect when they had dinner with his parents--an Oscar winning performance. But when Graham's father changes his agreement with regards on giving him the company, the game plan changes again. Graham is angry with his father and very confused about Abigail. He can't see a good ending to this story. After a few mistakes and a talk with his best friend, Tony Rigatoni, Graham tries a different approach--be nice.
Will their dinner date be all that they had anticipated? Will Abbs be strong enough to enjoy all she knows the evening together will bring and still keep it "professional?" Will Graham convince Abigail to marry him in less than two months, or will the chance to take over the company and all the riches it offers slip from his hands?
