Her days are relaxed and comfortable, and her nights are filled with alien songs.Rad has been waiting for centuries to meet his mate, and to have her arrange to carry his child before they had even met goes against Drai customs. He is willing to adapt as long as she will accept his protection in a world chosen as her home.
Due to the number of books this author has written, I've lost track. Yet the beauty of it is that you don't have to read the whole series to keep track of what's what.
I only pick and read if the synopsis draws me in. This plot was a bit different from the general norm and I must admit I quiet enjoyed it and wished as with some of her other stories that it was a much longer and developed read.
I don't know how she does it, but Viola Grace works her magic at keeping things fresh.
I first read this in 2015 when it was released. I thought it was ok at the time. Sighs. So I decided to re-read it just in case I got it wrong the first time. I'm happy to admit I was wrong. This is a good story...and besides, I LOVE dragons!
This is a melancholy romance but lovely all the same. The heroine is limited in her devlopment as a person by her "talent" to be obedient. The hero is great at respecting her as she is. She is so lonely and yet doesn't even realize it.
This was a very slow and light paced read that is different from the other books that I had read. Compared to the other short stories of Terran Times this was really slow as the heroine Zelia didn't actually decided for herself to leave Earth. She became a volunteer because she endangered her life when she saved the people working for he Volunteer Center.
Zelia was very simple and compared to other heroines she didn't really have a talent that is useful on combat she was just there to have a family on her own. This was slow and a relaxing read yet romantic at the same time with how Red the dragon teaches Zelia how to swim and respects her space.
All right I think Viola must have run into me at some point because this is literally my life. Her parents could be mine it's so scary. The main character has loads more patience than I do though, I at least seeth on the inside. So my question is where is my dragon? I've been dreaming of one so I'm waiting.
