The jokes weren't funny and I personally would've liked the little story-line of bringing up Pikachu's smile to have been resolved. Also, the legendary Pokemon on the cover and Meowth don't even make an appearance.
Most of the jokes aren’t funny but for some reason I absolutely cackled at the dirt joke by Terrakion don’t know why but to me it’s hilarious.
The quizzes on the sides of the pages are actually a really smart idea especially for a book about Pokémon because Pokémon fans (or at least me) love quizzes on Pokémon.
The mini breaks also are a good idea since you can leave the book to go to the toilet for example and make it not feel like you’re stopping in the middle of a chapter. It also really helped me read it when I was younger since I wasn’t all that into reading and needed a break every few minutes.
The story kind of doesn’t make much sense and isn’t very good but I don’t care I still love this book.
I loved this book very cuz i love Pokémon and i have a bunch of Pokémon cards and 2 action figures 1 is pikachu 1 is a bunny i dont know what its called though
I got the Pokemon Pocket Comics Legendary Pokemon on 2016 Free Comic Book Day. It was a quick and easy read. The Pokemon Quiz was interesting. But I did get every question wrong. The story was not so great. It was a little confusing with so much going on during the story. I am just glad that I got this comic free and did not pay for it.
I liked this book because there are Pokemon quizzes on every odd-numbered page like: q: where does pansage live? a:forests. Well, let’s get back to the reasons I like the book. I also like it because it has comics, and I like comics. I ALSO like it because it has my FAVORITE Pokémon:MUDKIP. EDIT: You should read the others, like X&Y.
I think I would have liked this more if I understood Pokemon. My son hasn't been into them for at least 7 years. So, I can't remember a thing about them. But I plan on giving this to a kid that I know who is obsessed with them. I bet he'll enjoy this more than me.
A taster for the full graphic novel which is essentially a story strung together by groan worthy puns and jokes. As it's from Free Comic Book Day, it's worth the value and a nice little time waster, but little more than that.
