Jay Creedy Duology #1

The End of an Age

Rate this book
All that lovey-dovey mushy stuff is for the birds, right?

This isn't your average love story. Actually, it isn't your average anything.

Meet Aubrey. She's young and vivacious, witty and snarky. Raised only by her father since the tender age of six after the brutal murder of her mother, she's tough as nails and ready to take on the world with two fists.

She's bored in her small town of Tinselton, PA - where the only interesting things happening are car wrecks and high school football.

That is until she stumbles upon a handsome stranger at the bar that she works nights.

He's mysterious. He's hot. He's an asshole.

Aubrey tries to go on with life, but she can't keep the thoughts of him at bay.

Then, Tinselton gets a shakeup. The beloved cross that looks down on her small town is defaced with what looks to be blood. It's a message scribed in a different language - but what does it all mean? Just as her mind begins screaming for answers, she sees him again.

His name is Jay Creedy, and he's ready to take her on a wild ride - she just doesn't know it yet.

Are you ready for twists and turns? The uncovering of a corrupt government and the forces behind it? Unconventional angels and nasty derelict demons? Well, then this is the story for you.

**This novel is intended for people over the age of eighteen due to drug/alcohol use, profanity and sexual encounters.**

This is the first book of the Jay Creedy duology. The second installment will be made available early 2016. The second installment will be from a different character's POV. You could read this as a stand alone if you wish to have the story end with Aubrey and Jay. However, as usual - there is always more to the story!

This book is heavily based on religion and faith; the views in this novel could be deemed unconventional by those of faith. Please note this before purchase.

Jay Creedy is not about lovey dovey mushy stuff as the writer says. This book is about the world without the veil, the world like Constantine, if he never stop the two worlds from colliding. This book reminds me so much of that world, the hell of where the monsters come from in Constantine. This book is action pack adventure, that if you decide to read this, be ready for a hell of a ride to another world. A world with full of corrupted government, demons, unconventional angels who fight to balance the world like it should be.

This book is no picnic, it shows a corrupt world that nobody wants to see or live. It’s full of sex, drugs, slavery and Angels trying to do good for the good of the people. And in between all the craziness, action adventure of the story, there is also the love story of Aubrey and Jay. Who fight the bad world together, while trying to fight their attraction towards each other. These two are forbidden to be together, but how much can they really fight the love they have for each other? Read and find out, believe it is all worth it.

Aubrey and Jay are sexy together, their hot and steamy kisses kept not only them wanting more, but me as a reader. Their connection and love for each other was so strong it was undeniable. No matter what was happening around them, their number one concern was each other’s safety. I cannot wait to read more of these two, because this book had my adrenaline going that even after I read the story I was still super excited of it all.

This book is must read. Once I started this book, I couldn’t put it down. It’s a one time sitting kinda book. I hope more people will give this book a chance and see how great of a story it truly is. Be warned that this book ends in a cliffhanger, but it was a great ending that will make the reader want more.

Awesome awesome book. A real must read. It’s too bad I have to wait until next year for book 2. AHHHHH!

I was given this book by the author for an honest review. I'm an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance & Authors That Rock.
I fell in love with Aubrey and Jay. This book had me laughing, crying and hoping for love to triumph. It's definitely a different way to look at love, hate, forgivness, hope, demons, angels, and the final fight between good and evil. I can't wait to read the next installment in the series, I couldn't put this one down. If you're looking for a good read then this is it but don't hope for a HEA, there's a mini cliffhanger.

Wow! What a wonderful book. This vook had it all...... Suspense, drama, romance, dark vs light, ultimate justice, and the list goes one. It starts at full speed ahead and maintains the pace throughout the entire story. I cannot wait for book 2!
Aubrey goes from a woman growing up in a small quiet town, having survived witnessing her mothets murder, to BAM!. Her whole is world is turned upside down, inside out. What would you do if you suddenly found out nothing is what it seems?

Bonny Capps' "Jay Creedy" is the first book in a two-book series. The author's writing style is amazing! I could not put this down and the world around me disappeared for the entire time I was reading this. I can not wait for the second book! I love the depth of the characters and the story line. The version I read needed a smidge more copy editing.

What I like about this author is she doesn't write fairy tale they are full of dark, intrigue and obstacles which always makes for an interesting read.

She's never writes boring and you are left wanting more.

This is told from the perspective of both characters. Full of twist and turn and what you're willing to do for when you are forbidden to be together.
Love is strong with these two and I can't wait to see what's next.

~~~~~~~~~~Dee's ★★★★★ Review~~~~~~~~~~
The story of Aubrey and Jay is told in brilliant color. Details bring the "movie" to life with heart stopping drama and mind boggling action. The war between good and evil, between Angels and Demons and the prophesied apocalypse is laid out so skillfully, it is like watching a movie in a darkened theater with surround sound. If thrilling adventures, explosions, betrayals, amazing powers, mystery and unrequited love is your "cup of tea", then this book was written for you.
