Probably my favourite in this series.
I’ve not been a huge fan of this author or this series and have struggled to read them but as I read Ball and Chain first ages ago and found Sarah and Grey a very different and engaging couple, I wanted to read this book.
I enjoyed reading their main story.
Sarah is a strong heroine, not becoming weak once a man is in her life, but staying true to herself. In fact, I found her stronger than Grey and he is a Seal.
I just wanted more apology from Grey about that conversation all those years previously that sent Sarah running.
I don’t know the Megladon team at all, they have their own series but as it is not in KU I won’t be reading it.
Read through Kindle Unlimited.

Ms. Burke has done it again. At first I wasn't sure how this book fit into the Cottonwood Falls Series, but as I continued reading and the characters from the other books were introduced I understood. Additionally the inclusion of the Megalodon Team was aces for me. That is my all time favorite Aliyah Burke series. To be married for more than ten years and spend most of those teas apart is amazing that the author made it work. To have Sarah be a female recon, and an accomplished one at that was great. I can't wait for more of this series.

This is the 6th book in the Cottonwood Falls Series. This is my favorite so far. This book had a "kick-ass" chick that didn't lose her mind because she fell in love. Sarah's character was able to show her soft side in a way that didn't make her weak. I loved that she was clear on what she wanted and needed in her life.

Ms. Burke also gave her fans a little care package by including some characters from the Megalodon series....LOVED IT.

Navy and Marine

Another hot story from cottonwood Falls. Love when both people are serving and great at their jobs. Lots of misunderstanding and dubious behavior within the close ranks.
Highly recommend this story.

Yep! Very Intense!

Sarah and Grey have a very intense and passionate relationship, emotionally and physically! Yet, their communication via actual talking to one another by going into detail about their feelings and what they want from each other in a relationship is nil! There may be love, but how can it work when they are too stubborn to talk about how they are feeling!

Most times, it was hard trying to figure out what was happening or why it was happening, so I am giving this a point off!

Navy SEAL Gray Sorenson and Marine Sarah Mallery cannot see eye-to-eye when they are not loving on each other in bed; hence the avoidance of each other whenever possible. So when a very dangerous mission throws them together, will Gray and Sarah be able to tolerate and trust each other without blowing their operation? More importantly, will they be able to overcome the bad blood stirring between them in order to have a lasting romantic relationship?

Intensity is definitely an intense novella filled with danger, excitement, and passion. Gray and Sarah have certainly met their match in each other. Their relationship is a complicated one that has been prolonged over ten years, from their young adult lives until now. Both are head-strong, determined, and stubborn. Whenever Gary and Sarah are together sparks fly both in and out of bed. I was completely taken by their story from start to finish, eager to see if and how their relationship would work out, especially since each has worked so hard to avoid the other. Aliyah Burke’s, Intensity, is simply awesome!

Second chance

A second chance at love is sometimes so rare that you need to grab it. Sarah and Grey did just that but it didn't come easy and at times you wanted to give up. Cottonwood Falls just might be my favorite series, the books are short reads but I'm invested in not just the town, but the characters and love when they intermingled. Sarah was bona fide kick azz and I was rooting for her as a woman. Wicked awesome when the female lead doesn't need someone to validate her! Story is solid, sex is hot, romance is on point loved Intensity.

2 1/2 stars and that's only because of the weird phrasing and editing that kept pulling me out of the story. People from Georgia do not talk like that. Finally, an IR romance where the heroine is a real bad ass. Sarah and Grey are both in the special forces and Ms. Burke doesn't make light of what Sarah does or make her a wuss in her relationship with Grey or with her team, she's not all mouth but a woman of action. I really would like to give this story three stars for bringing in guys from the Megalodon Team, and that ending.

Aptly named!

This was intense from the first word to the last. I love Sarah and Grey and the volatility of their relationship. They felt so real and I was mad when Sarah was and ice cold angry when Grey was. I loved how Aliyah showed that a dual military couple can make it. There was one thing that was my absolute favorite scene and it had to do with a meeting Grey had with another SEAL Team ... SEAL Team 17 to be exact. Thank you Aliyah!!!

I love this series. I love how the author tied this storyline to another. We got to hear from other familiar characters.
