What a great fast-paced, steamy, age-gap romance. Richard Kane is a divorced billionaire and a bit of a recluse. His son Nathan has a wonderful fiance named Belle. Richard met Belle two years ago and he he sees the way Nathan treats her and how he is slowly breaking her down. Unfortunately, he doesn't know the extent of the cruelty and abuse at the hands of Nathan. Realizing he can't be around his son, he tells Belle if she ever needs anything to come to him. Fast forward to her wedding day and Belle realizes that if she marries Nathan, the abuse will just get worse. She decides to run and hope that the offer her would be father-in-law made still stands. When she shows up on his doorstep, she realizes that he meant what he said and welcomes her. Now in his home, Belle begins to take her life back as Richard tries to show her how great she is. It's hard to overcome the damage Nathan did and rebuild her self esteem. What happens when they come to terms with their budding feelings for each other? What happens when Nathan comes calling? Finally Escaping for Love and Happiness -
Belle’s decision to runaway from her wedding and seek her ex-fiancé father for help was a Hail Mary action, but what she didn’t know was that it would be the best decision she ever made. Even though Richard had moved away to heal his pain, he never expected Belle to seek him out, so he gladly gave her the protection and safety she needed. Spending time around each other was meant to be on a platonic basis, but the sparks between Belle and Richard only grew hotter and led to them crossing the boundaries.

Unfortunately, not long after Richard and Belle acknowledged their feelings for each other and entered into a relationship journey towards their future, it was disrupted by the arrival of her ex-fiancé. However, Richard and Belle had already prepared for his arrival, which ensured he walked away without causing any harm to either of them. Once Richard and Belle got rid of her ex-fiancé, they were able to finally make their dreams come true and build the life that they wanted and deserved.

The captivating romance story pulled on my heart strings from the beginning held my interest all the way through to the end, whilst dealing very well, with a very emotional subject. The chemistry between the characters was strong and believable, whilst the drama and steam filled storyline made it impossible for me to take a break until I read the last word. This book is a definite must read, that deserves a place on your TBR list.

Saved by the Billionaire by Zoey Rose delivers a fast-paced romance that combines several fan-favorite tropes: including runaway bride, age-gap romance, ex-boyfriend's dad, and billionaire hero into a sweet and steamy novella. As with many of Zoey Rose's books, the story was quick to read, focusing more on the romance than complex plot twists. The small-town setting of Blackwater Falls added warmth and charm, making it easy to become invested in the characters' happily-ever-after. Overall, Saved by the Billionaire was an enjoyable read for fans like me of short, steamy contemporary romances featuring curvy heroines, protective older heroes, forbidden attraction, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

Belle is running from an abusive fiancee. She flees to the house of the man who would have been her father in law, the man she has loved for years. Richard has loved Belle for just as long, wanting to protect her from his terrifying son. He takes Belle in, lets her recover and claims her.

I love how this story develops. How Richard and Belle grow towards each other, let themselves love each other. It's a slow process that they both fight for a little while. Once they let themselves go they realize how perfect they are and stop fighting it. Richard will do whatever he has to to protect Belle.

Belle finally realizes she can live and follow her dreams again. It liberates her and makes her and Richard so greatful for what they have. A wonderful story.

Richard Kane, a billionaire now living in Blackwater Falls, has been protective/had feelings for Belle, his son’s Nathan fiancee. Nathan, has isolated and abused Belle for the prior two years, aided and manipulated by Richard’s ex-wife Victoria. On her wedding day, Belle flees and runs to Richard’s home. Both Richard and Belle have harbored feeling for each other since meeting two years prior and finally give into those feelings. When Nathan shows up to claim Belle, Richard steps in, choosing Belle.
What a wonderful story of Richard and Belle choosing each other despite what society might think, finding a true and abiding love with family and a well deserved HEA.

The author has given us an older man/younger woman story that pulls us into the lives of Belle, Richard and her ex/his son, Nathan. The fast-paced story keeps us turning the pages with a runaway bride, secret desires, denial, danger, realizations and steam.

Passing through guard gates to get to safety this runaway bride goes to the only place she knows she is safe. The unknown, freedom, and blisters are better than what waited for her at the altar. These main characters have mad chemistry and spicy time is hot.🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️ this is a short read but i loved the story. I especially enjoyed the pool. I recommend this story.

Richard is protective, worshiping and caring, without being caging or restricting and that’s exactly what Belle needs after the horrors she had to endure under her ex.

Belle was running from her wedding and her abuse. To Richard, the father of her fiancé.
Fast paced, emotional, heartwarming steamy romance. Enjoyed it.

A prohibited romance

Bella is a runaway bride that seeks help with her almost father in love, because he was the only that saw her pain and offered help. I liked how the subject of abuse was treated in this story, from the victim, the person that saw and how she finds herself back to be able to be happy again.
