(Note: Books #1 through #5 are each at a temporary introductory price for my wonderful readers! Thank you all!) DIRTIEST LIE (#5) is an erotic romance story of 27,000 words.
Lindsay needs to trust someone other than herself, and that means confiding her darkest secret to her billionaire bosses. The secret that turned her into a desperate runaway seven years ago. The secret that will destroy her innocent sister’s life. With her cruel grandfather now aware of Lindsay’s location, time is running out. He’s coming for her, and each of her options can only lead to disaster. Trusting Romeo, Slade, and Hawthorne will save her. It will destroy her, too.
If Cleo isn't writing (or reading!) erotica, she's probably sitting on her balcony, watching the wind blow through the trees. She loves snowstorms, horses, and piña coladas. If she won the lottery, she would hire an assistant to take care of the technical side of e-publishing so that she could write all day.
Some random facts about Cleo: 1. Thinks life's too short to forgo HEAs and HFNs. 2. Sprained an ankle joining the mile-high club. (Never again!) 3. Favorite writers include Cormac McCarthy, Junot Diaz and Rachel Caine. 4. Gets weak-kneed for bookish guys who know how to fix things with their hands. *swoons*
Lindsay is back and she is going through some “trust” training. She still has issues with Hawthorne, which I really do not understand.
On the other hand she feels more comfortable with Slade.
Anyway Romeo, Slade, and Hawthorne are a package deal and she starts to understand that after a tennis match and a meeting with one of their ex-girlfriends.
Lindsay’s biggest secret is finally revealed. It is time for the four of them to meet the evil grandfather. A bit of action, a jealousy tantrum, a few fashion tips, lots of sex. Another entertaining book.
Now this has all the elements of bringing the story together. I love that things are finally starting to happen, not just meaningless sex at the office.
This book is set to make Hawthorne, Romeo, and Slade be able to trust Lindsey again. Hawthorne has the first choice and always is an ass. I guess he has a reason for being such a dick to her, but sometimes he can be to much. Slade is next, but he is definitely not as much of an ass. He is more of the romantic one, and it makes it easy for her to talk to him. Romeo doesn't have any alone time with her so I am pretty sure the next book is going to continue on into the next book. We also learned more about Lindsey's grandpa. She is pretty sure that her grandpa killed her parents. It seems like he tried to blame Layla on it though. It seems like the guys have a plan to bring her grandpa down though, but they do allow Lindsey to approach him like he wants to. She gets the chance at the end of the book. It doesnt work so know it is back to the guys plan.

Yes! The secrets just keep on coming. And they don't disappoint at all. It this installment we finally get to discover the big secret that Lindsay has been keeping to herself, the trump card so to speak. So didn't think it was that, but it makes sense why she was keeping it to herself. Now that her bosses know there willing to do anything to protect her. These gentlemen are really starting to grow on me.
Lindsay is finally back at work and going through each of her lessons with her bosses. I will never look at a wooden ruler the same after reading this.
We also learn more about Slade, Romeo and Hawthorne's past relationship and how each of them are dealing with the loss in their own ways. I'm really feeling for them. They went through something that was really hard but have managed to pull through to the other side together. How? I will never know.
But that ending! It really threw me and now I must find out what happens next.
Lindsay and Bandit are rescued from a life on the run. Her bosses and sexual partners are adamant about teaching her to trust them. But to trust them she will need to open up her darkest secrets to them, ones that could destroy her lil sister. Could jeopardize her and their safety.
But trusting herself and them could finally save her from the hell of a life she has been living. Is she strong enough? Can they prove to her THEY are strong enough for her?
I really love this story and can't get enough of it. My only issue is that I feel like this was made into a series instead of 1 or 2 books just to make more money. The way each book ends doesn't feel right and it is making me frustrated. That is the only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars.
Hmm, it seems that all their hard work to rebuild Lindsey into the woman of self confidence has been successful. I would like to say her attitude is due to Hawthorne. The constant battle those two have taught her to hold her ground and not give or show her weakness to her opponent. The way she dress and carry herself so eloquently, is due to Romeo and Slade. They finally got her to understand that the clothes you wear has nothing to do with the way people see you or the confidence you have, but it's the confidence you have in yourself. All three of them have completely stripped her bear to the point where she has nothing to hide. This allows her to take down her wall trust that her bosses/ lovers will protect her and gives her what she needs. In turn they gives her her freedom to choose again and she does it with grace. To be able to look in the mirror and know that you are beautiful the way you are is worth everything.
Very short, but somewhat interesting. Left me wanting to read the next book in series, to find out what happens next. Which incidently is frustrating due to having to buy/find the next book, & to finish the story there are 6 books to get.

My Thoughts
You know how you really get into a story and you have to keep waiting and waiting for the next bits to be revealed? I feel like that's the case here - like i really want to know what's going to happen with these 4 and i have to wait with baded breath for weeks to get the next installment. Don't get me wrong, it's always well worth it since you know that you're going to get some of the dirtiest, raunchiest sex possible from Cleo all the while you're enjoying a complicated story and plot line.
We pick up in this series with the 3 men deciding that they will do whatever they have to in order to protest Lindsey while taking her grandfather down. They know that he's a bad guy but maybe not to the extent of what he's done yet, and it's up to Lindsey to give them the necessary information.
If that weren't enough, we also know that there are a LOT of emotions being tied up into this foursome. We know that Hawthorne seems to be breaking down his walls a bit from her, and that there's much less hatred - although it's definitely still there. We also know that the fondness that Lindsey has for Slade is reciprocated and that there's a really strong bond there. It's interesting to see what Slade reveals though - and i think that while i expected much of it, it's still interesting. Romeo on the other hand, we learn that maybe he's not as open as we would like and there's a chance that we'll learn the back story here.
The point of this installment is twofold i think. One is to teach Lindsey a lesson, that she can't just run away from the men and not have a punishment. She's being put through her paces at work now in a way that she's not necessarily happy about yet i think that the guys have a reason for it and we'll have to be patient to see exactly what their training entails.
The other point is that we need to see Lindsey's grandfather taken down a few pegs and it seems like that's not going to be nearly as easy as everyone hoped. There's a lot that Lindsey is still hiding and that can only allow the men to go so far. What will happen is anyone's guess at this point.
True to Ms. Peitsche's style, we get some really dirty and hot scening - things that i can only imagine being AMAZING if you were on the receiving end. Very hot, very steamy and quite naughty. All makes for great reading for last night at least - a nice way to end my weekend. From what i saw, it looks like i may not have to wait the longest amount of time for the next installment so i'll be patient since we're at such a pivotal part of the story. and on that note - have a great day everyone!
Book 5 in the Executive Toy series. Cleo Peitsche really knows how to pack a lot into a short book. Romeo, Slade, and Hawthorne have Lindsay back and their not going to let anything happen to her. Security has been tightened and Lindsay's training has begun. What that training is? What does Lindsay need that the men can give her besides sex? Lindsay need to be able to do something about her grandfather and do this without hurting her sister. To do this she needs to trust the men around her. They are the key to the confidence she needs to confront her grandfather.
As we have been getting to this point where we know more about the bosses as well as Lindsey the dynamics fall together and they are on the same page. The 4 of them set out to take back what was taken from Lindsey and keep her safe. This has been an awesome build-up to this battle I look forward to book 6

Great end to the Series! The whole ride was a different one, I truly didn't think it would turn out this way when I started reading it. I loved this Series! Of course a girl could have a great time with a few handsome Billionaires! LMAO
I do not get Romeo.. do he have feeling for Lindsey or what?? He is kind of secretive and more focused on his work. Hopefully I will get to understand him better.
