This was such a short read, I wish there was more!!! 😅 This book is less than 100 pages but it didn't feel rushed or forced, it was absolutely perfect. The pacing was great and the story was phenomenal. The spice was absolutely delicious 🥵 because I mean, who doesn't want to be protected and worshipped by 3 handsome demons? 👀👀
Brooklyn, our FMC, comes from a line of witches and I loved everything about it. The incantations and witchy rituals were great. I really hope there will be a sequel to this book because I don't want it to be over. 🤣

The atmosphere was deliciously sinister. The Dark Forest felt alive, hungry, and filled with something waiting just beyond sight. Then we meet the demons, and suddenly being hunted doesn’t sound nearly as terrifying as it should. These men are temptation wrapped in danger. They worship like sinners, claim like monsters, and make sharing seem downright holy. 😏

The spice? FIVE CHILIS. No hesitation. No appeals. Straight to horny jail, but make it a demonic dungeon.

And then…

THAT ENDING.

I will remain spoiler-free, but I need everyone to understand that I am not okay. Those fucking monsters had to ruin everything, and now I’m sitting here emotionally gutted, furious, and desperate for more.

This book is coming out just in time for spooky season! If you are looking for a quick, hot, and spooky read for this Halloween season, I highly recommend hollows Eve!

When it comes to novella, it could be very hard to get a good storyline in such a short amount of pages. I thought that BL Swern did an amazing job of giving us a backstory, an issue that needed resolving, tension, and of course, delicious smut, all in one quick novella. I love how we were given the origin of the curse on Brooklyn’s bloodline, not only from her perspective, but also the perspective of her demons and the ones that were set out to kill her. It gave us a more rounded description of why they were so determined to get her soul. I very much enjoyed this Novella!

And when it comes to our characters, even for such a short book, I felt that we got to learn the personalities of each of them, as well as their connections to one another. These four are definitely characters I would enjoy reading a full length novel about! Who knows, maybe there will be another novella next hollows Eve. Only time will tell.

Overall, I highly recommend this story to add to your spooky season TBR. It’s short enough to fly through in one sitting and remain captivated the entire time.

This was such a fun, fast read! The spice-to-plot ratio was PERFECT for me. There’s plenty of heat, but the actual story never gets drowned out by it…which I really appreciated. And if you’re looking for yearning and 300 pages of “will they/won’t they,” you won’t find it here. 😂 There is NOTHING slow burn about this baby. It is full throttle from the jump.

Dark, spicy, witchy, demonic, and just the right amount of spooky. Hallow’s Eve is a perfect quick read to add to your spooky-season TBR. 🎃🖤

Hallow’s Eve was such a good, quick read for spooky season! I genuinely don’t know how B.L. managed to fit so much into such a short book without it feeling rushed.

I really liked Brooklyn, especially her inner thoughts. This girl is literally running for her life from three demons and still managed to make me laugh.

And obviously I’m a fan of Kallen, Bryden, and Cayson. They are not green flags. They probably haven’t even seen a green flag before. But do I care? Absolutely not! 🤷🏻‍♀️

The chase through the forest and the whole cat and mouse dynamic was probably one of my favorite parts. Especially when Brooklyn realizes she might be a little more into being chased than she should be. Like girl, I get it. 😂

Seriously, this novella was just a good time. A little fucked up, spicy good time, but still. I could have happily read another hundred pages of Brooklyn and her demons.

My Book Review: This was a fast, short, read packed with a punch!
This definitely caught my interest because it was a different take on how demons are perceived which I found refreshing!

Brooklyn (FMC) is warned by her witchy aunt to stay away from the dark forest, but on one night, she is unable to help herself. She is drawn to the forest and finds herself in the presence of three, beautiful demons who want her. All of her. Body and soul. They want to claim her, worship her, and take in every bit they can. However, there are dark entities lurking in the forest who want to damn her soul. When they get a hold of her, the demon brothers will stop at nothing to reclaim her. Lots of fighting, gore, sex, and violence if you can stomach that. Somehow, the author managed to turn a seductive and sweet story into a fun read. 😁

Okay this book is less than 100 pages but let me tell you it packs a serious punch!

So much is in this book that it seem very unlikely that so much can be in it and not feel rushed. But let me tell you rushed does not describe this at all! The plot progressed normally and i absolutely loved it! The fmc is very likely and her inner dialogue is hilarious!

This is a why choose done RIGHT!! My favorite! The plot was fabulous and it is SPICY SPICY SPICY! But seriously it's less than 100 pages, its super spicy, plot is fabulous, and it has Halloween and witchy vibes!

BL Swern has done it again! I swear her books just get better and better with each one! So don't have fomo and go and read this!

I love a good holiday themed Novella and B.L.Swern’s book, Hallows Eve, did not disappoint. I think the thing I liked most about the book was the connection between the characters.

I loved the cursed family element, and the ties between twins and a destiny of one always succumbing to the demons of the forest on Hallows Eve after their 21rst birthday. The three demons who are painfully attractive make the book's spice level turn up exponentially. This is a quick read with all the elements of a full novel within, and it works. I think this book is a great Halloween themed addition to my “read” pile. One I will more than likely revisit every year.

Girl, you did the damn thing with this novella. We came for the spooky, witchy vibes and stayed for the plot, the spice, and the shadow daddies. This is the perfect Halloween read. The banter is top tier. The spice is mouthwatering, and the story will have you begging for more. Brooklyn knows there is a family curse but can’t seem to fight the urge to return to the woods where the curse began. All is not what it seems when it comes to her family’s story. If you love a good why-choose story that has witchy/demon vibes, ancient family curses, and shadow daddies that will make you weak in the knees, definitely check this novella out. It doesn’t disappoint!

This book is just wow. It is 100 pages and is something that is not to cramped. It is not rushed it is the right amount of everything that is needed. The way that this literally knocks your socks off is something that I was not expecting. The FMCs inner dialog is hilarious. This has kept me engaged and I didn’t put it down. I even reread this book as it was that good. This book has the perfect amount of spiciness. Be warned though it is SPICY!!!! Like 5 star spice. It will have you on your knees. It has the perfect amount of witchy feels and Halloween.
Love that this authors books are just as amazing each time. She really out does it. Cant wait for the next one.

This book pulled me in with its dark, seductive atmosphere and then refused to let me breathe. The chemistry is deliciously dangerous, the demons are exactly the kind of unhinged I came for, and the tension between them and their witch? Absolutely addictive.

There’s something about a story that makes you think “this is a terrible idea” while simultaneously turning the page because you NEED to know what happens next.

If you love dark fantasy, witches, demons, obsession, and a whole lot of spice, Hallow’s Eve deserves a spot on your shelf.

Wow!! I came for the spooky witch & demon vibes and I definitely got that. This was a short novella of about 100 pages and it never felt rushed and I did feel like I got just the right amount of information to know what was going on and keep me intrigued. I enjoyed this “forbidden” why choose between a witch and three demons, it was anything but innocent but so breathtaking, it keeps you reading. I enjoyed the plot. Another small novella about the FMCs family history would be super cool to read since this doesn’t touch too much and I don’t want to spoil anything.

So I have come to the conclusion that I need to be chased through a mist and creepy forest that is across the street from my house by 3 demons (strictly hypothetical) and turned into their yearly lover but also be completely ravished from top to bottom and worshipped like their queen of evil. Therefore, Brooklynn is living her best life singing and dancing in the kitchen with her aunt and being cured and all due to the Salem Witch Trials.
This novella was very exciting, perfect length for spooky season reads. Definitely going on my list for the 'ber' months.

This was a fun, quick read! There were a few plot holes (easy for that to happen in a short novella), and the story could be a little predictable at times, but the dark theme also carried through well!
