Stories give us hope. And the people inside them remind us that there is life on the other side of pain, setbacks, doubt, and delay. Nobody said the journey would be easy, but nobody could call it impossible either. If you need something to believe in, believe in the latter, evidence of people who made it through. And to relay this even further this is my favourite message in the book : "To every African Youth who wonders if your dreams are too big for where you come from, believe me, they are not. You can right the unrightabke wrong, you can dream the impossible dream and go where the brave do not go...As a child, I watched my parents and elders navigate the challenges of rural life with dignity. I learned that progress was not handed to us, it was something we had to fight for...Education became my passport to the world beyond Bamunkumbit."

A profound meditation on resilience and self‑belief. It illuminates how life's plot twists can become gateways to opportunity. It emphasises the necessity of trusting the process, cultivating discipline, and refusing surrender in the face of adversity. It affirms that the human spirit is more than capable of transcending obstacles when anchored in conviction and perseverance. Furthermore, it is a testament to the transformative power of unwavering belief in oneself.
