Sadly I wasn’t keen on this book… the ending was sadly disappointing and felt dragged out.
Chapter 13… Enno and Joey were at the ruins looking for Romy and found drag marks and a coat and they mentioned they had already phoned hotels and hostels pretending to be Romy sister to find her.
Then….
Chapter 15 they are at the hostel asking the receptionist if Romy collected her keys….. and they they phone hotels looking for Romy…. Feels like these chapters were muddled up and in wrong order
Other chapters from one paragraph to the next the characters are somewhere different or conversations Iv needed read again as they all seem muddled and not in order… sadly didn’t enjoy this book purely for the way this is written and the story dragging.
I didn’t purchase this book and is a book sirens download . I received an advance copy for free and I am voluntarily leaving this review

Since I was already completely blown away by Lara: The Beginning, I’ve now read this thriller by Dorothy Stone. This thriller swept me away even more. I read late into the night because I just had to know how it ended. The story actually starts off innocently enough. But you quickly realize that something isn’t right, and before you know it, you’re right in the thick of the action. The tension builds from chapter to chapter, and you find yourself asking: Who’s a friend, who’s an enemy, who’s the victim? There are twists and turns at every turn—nothing is what it seems!!!! The author manages to keep confusing the reader—in a good way—which is why this book captivated me even more!!!! A compliment to Dorothy Stone. It stays incredibly suspenseful right up to the end, and only then does it become clear who the culprit is. I love thrillers like this that aren’t so easy to figure out. So I highly recommend buying this book.
