Childhood Friends. Second Chances. Healing Hearts.

Judgment Falls is a heartfelt and emotional romance that beautifully explores healing, forgiveness, family bonds, and second chances at love.

What I enjoyed most was the connection between Lyndon and Farrell. Their love story wasn't flashy or filled with unnecessary drama—it was quiet, steady, and deeply meaningful. As childhood friends who drifted apart and later found their way back to each other as wiser, older adults, their relationship felt completely natural. Every scene they shared carried a sense of comfort and familiarity that made it clear they were always meant to be together.

My heart broke for Lyndon and the betrayal she endured. Watching her navigate those emotional wounds and slowly learn to trust again made her journey especially compelling. Farrell's unwavering support and gentle presence provided exactly the kind of stability and reassurance she needed. Their romance felt authentic, earned, and full of genuine emotional depth.

Beyond the romance, I appreciated the focus on healing from past hurts, rebuilding fractured family relationships, and finding the courage to move forward. The bond between the Freling brothers added another layer of depth to the story and reinforced the idea that family—whether by blood or by choice—can help us overcome even our deepest scars.

This was a touching and uplifting read filled with emotional growth, devotion, and hope. Lyndon and Farrell's happy ending was everything I wanted for them, and watching them find their way back to each other was incredibly satisfying.

If you enjoy childhood friends-to-lovers romances, emotionally rich characters, family healing, and second-chance love stories, Judgment Falls is definitely worth picking up.

My first introduction to the Freling brothers was in the Breathe series, so I was excited to learn more about them. Before starting this book, I read The Rise of the Horsemen. It serves as an introduction to the brothers and the foundation of their story. While I enjoyed reading it first, I don't think it's essential to understand or enjoy this story.

For me this is not a romance, but more about unhealed family trauma, grief, forgiveness, and a love that survives despite years of distance. The brothers return to the home they left behind, forced to face a past they never intended to revisit while confronting the reality that one of the brightest lights in their lives is beginning to fade.

Farrell's reunion with Lyndon carries some of the emotional weight in the story. Years ago, he disappeared without explanation, leaving behind the young woman he loved. Their reunion is filled with unresolved hurt, unanswered questions, and the possibility of a second chance. Their reconciliation is rather rushed. What stood out the most to me was the emotional pull of the relationship between the brothers. The romance is important, but the bonds between the brothers and the wounds they still carry give the story its strongest moments.

I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to learning more about the remaining brothers. I did notice that the author's writing style feels different from the books that first introduced me to her. It wasn't a negative change, but it was noticeable and took me a little time to adjust to.

What an excellent start to The Freling Brothers AKA The Four Horsemen series. Each brother has their specialty. To the world they don’t exist, they take missions to take out the bad guys. This book is about the oldest who let someone he never stopped loving get away. Unfortunately he has no option but to insinuate himself in Lyndon’s life because she’s in harms way.

These brothers are top notch. As good as they are with handling missions, they too have a sordid past. I felt the heartache and pain they endured as kids.

The villain, was truly and evil person!

This is a second chance romance as well. Sometimes you can never get over a first love.

Very well written book, you will not be disappointed.

Farrell

What a beginning to this series, the prequel was just a glimpse into the story, the author expound on Farrell and Lyndon story and did an excellent job.. I'll say this is a slow burn but 🌶🌶🌶🌶

Excellent

An excellent read, Ms Young always delivers. Great engrossing storytelling with full engaging, believable characters. That said there were times that I wanted to shake Lyndon. Can't wait for the next book. I recommend.
