Masashi Kishimoto (岸本斉史 Kishimoto Masashi) is a Japanese manga artist, well known for creating the manga series Naruto. His younger twin brother, Seishi Kishimoto, is also a manga artist and creator of the manga series O-Parts Hunter (666 Satan) and Blazer Drive. Two of his former assistants, Osamu Kajisa (Tattoo Hearts) and Yuuichi Itakura (Hand's), have also gone on to moderate success following their work on Naruto.

Kishimoto's first work as a manga artist was Karakuri (カラクリ?), which he submitted to Shueisha in 1995. This earned him the Weekly Shōnen Jump's monthly "Hop Step Award" in 1996, granted to promising new manga artists. This was followed in 1997 by a pilot version of Naruto (NARUTO-ナルト-), published in Akamaru Jump Summer. In 1998, Kishimoto premiered as a Weekly Shōnen Jump artist with a serialized version of Karakuri in Weekly Shōnen Jump, but it proved unpopular and was canceled soon after. In 1999, a serialized version of Naruto began publication in Weekly Shōnen Jump and quickly became a hit.

Chapter One:
To be quite honest, I was a little distraught reading this chapter. I was happy at the beginning and then BOOM, pain. I have been a emotional wreck since I read this chapter at 3:00 am on Thursday morning 4/23/2015. My opinion is, Sarada Uchiha, is brilliant. I love her character and am so excited to see where this series goes. I'm a little nervous because I am a Sasuke and Sakura fan. I am really hoping for a happy ending for all. I hope faith in Kishimoto and I'm sure he wont let me down (I hope.)

Chapter Two:
A lot of interesting things is happening now. This chapter was less depressing then the first, and a lot of fun to read! I simply adore Sarada and am really rooting for her to discover herself! As for Sasuke, he can STILL kick ass. Also, we know he is done with all this shit. I can't wait to see what the rest of this has in store!

Chapter three:
Okay, I am in a hole. I'm confused and curious and want to know what is really happening. Sarada can kick ass, I give her that. She's a good character and I love her. I was dry happy with this chapter. Naruto was such a cool male figure. He is a serious role model for all of the children in the village to look up to.

Chapter four:
This chapter left me in tears and nervous. I feel as if Sasuke is literally done with all this ninja stuff and really wants to just return to the village pronto. Sarada is such a beautiful character, so loving. She activated her sharingan, finally, thinking about hugging her father. I find that adorable. Unfortunately, she didn't get the meeting she has intended.

Chapter Five:
Oh man. Everything is getting so damn good. Sasuke, Sasuke, Sasuke, you sly beautiful, brave man. He really cares for the sake of the village. I can't believe he decided to take on a mission like that on his own-leaving his pregnant wife in the process. I can not believe Sarada is questioning her parentage because of glasses. If that were the case, I would not be my own parents child. I loved the mother/daughter thing going on though. That ending left me nerved shot. Hopefully a team 7 reunion next chapter!

Chapter six:
Definitely a wonderful chapter. Sakura entered the picture and seriously was badass. I loved her. She may be a mother but she is still as strong as ever and loves her family. This was one of my favorite chapters so far. Hopefully next chapter is just as good! We need to know where Sakura got kidnapped too!

Chapter seven:
No. Not what I had hoped for. Sarada's DNA test showed that Karin was her mother. But I feel like something is fishy because Sasuke called Sakura his wife and Sakura called sasuke her husband. I feel as if something other then Karins DNA was used. Maybe something of Sarada's? Then again, I just may be hopeful thinking, since I am PRO SasuSaku. In other news, Sakura was absolutely breathtaking in the colored pages. Naruto couldn't believe the DNA test either, which confirms that he never saw Sakura pregnant. Which means she probably left the village for a while. Next weeks chapter better explain things! Hopefully Sarada realizes that even if Sakura isn't her biological mother, Sakura still loves her and raised her.

I'm not going to finish up the chapterly review because I waited too long but overall I am VERY satisfied with the ending. Loved and adored the family bonds between Sarada, Sasuke, and Sakura. Also, SASUSAKU

This was such a great story!

It starts off with Sarada wantint to meet her father and she meets with Naruto to deliver him some lunch but then gets attacked by Shin, a mysterious assailant that Naruto got word of from sasuke whose on a mission himself. And as they confront him they battle and the reunion between father daughter happens but she has a more mysterious question "Is sakura her real mother or is it Karin cuz resemblance?" And then the whole origins of who Shin is, What happens to Sakura and then the ultimate fight and face off between Shin and all happens. This is such a great story and that part where she says "dad do you love mom, prove" and they say "we have you". That moment made me tear up.

Its one of the best manga side stories/continuation and just delves deeper into the emotions and continues a villain story from the main but regardless its a great Sasuke story and sets Sarada to being her own character and choose her path. Kishimoto knows how to extract the emotions from the story and make readers feel for the character and this was just another proof of it. Just fantastic stuff. The art and colors were so good like always.

I promised myself I wouldn't cry. Why must naruto always make me cry.
Don't worry, it's happy tears.
Uchiha Sarada. Daughter of the famous Uchiha Sasuke and Sakura.
I just love having sasuke's daughter as the main character. Inn this volume she is on a journey to find her father and finally asking him som seriously questions. Along with her best friend cho cho.
We also got to meet some old faces like naruto himself and of course sasuke and sakura along with some other beloved characters. This volume picks up right after the last chapter of naruto and it will continue with boruto. Sarada Uchiha is definitely my favorite character of the next generation.

Little interesting side story for the character Sarada, who is Sasuke and Sakura's daughter. It is great to be back in this world again being introduced to all the new characters that we will be following in Boruto Next Generations!!! Although this one was a little disappointing, I have high hopes that Boruto will not disappoint. I am loving the anime already so that is a plus!!!

I just love this side story! It's really realistic to me that Sarada would be curious about her father, and even question her own parentage considering her unusual family dynamic. I also think that seeing all my old faves (or most of them anyway) was super fun too!

So this was an okay read, I like that we got to see how the cell seven crew grew up. However there kids seemed to much like them it. was just a repeat of Naruto but with different names. U think I would have liked it better if they all had something that made them stick out. Although I must admit I came around to Sarada at the end, and as always Sasuke was my favorite character.

Introduction:
This manga is awesome, and is from the  perspective of Sarada. When I first read this manga years ago I thought it was setting up Sarada was going to be the protagonists of the next generation. It is so good I've read it now more then four times. In this story Sarada begins to wonder why her father is never in the village, why she was not born in the village, and if Sakura is really her mother. The results of her quest is why Sarada makes it her goal to become hokage.

Sasuke not in the Village:
Sarada wonders why her father is never in the village, and why she has never meet him before. Hearing that Naruto is going to see Sasuke, Sarada follows him. Which is what allows her to meet her father for the first time and activate her Sharringan.

Is Sakura really her mother:
Sarada wonders if Sakura is really her mother as she resembles sasuke and has glasses. After finding a photo of Karin, who also has glasses she wonders if Karin is her mother. Her reason for looking for Sasuke is to ask if Sakura is really her mother.

Sarada as the protagonist:
When I first read this I thought Sarada was going to be the protagonists of the next generation. Although Boruto has gotten better as a character, sometimes I still wish Sarada was the protagonist. Since she like Naruto did, wants to be the hokage. It seems like Sarada has more drive as a character then Boruto does because she has that goal. Boruto is too similar personality wise to Naruto, but alot without Naruto's postitive traits. While Sarada is a combination of the best of her parent's personalities. She has Sasuke's determination and Sakura's thoughtfulness. Plus the interactions between Sarada and Naruto was very cool to read. Naruto is really busy but it would be cool if he took Sarada under his wing and helped train her to be hokage.

Conclusion:
This is a really good manga if your a Naruto or Boruto fan you should definaly read as it fills in the gap of time just before graduation. Anther grate thing about this manga is how much Naruto is part of the story. And how he inspires Sarada to want to be hokage. I hope we get to see that dymanic between Sarada and Naruto again in future Boruto volumes.

I kind of knew going in that this manga was going to annoy me, but good god what I'd give to have gotten these little standalones once or twice a year direct from Kishimoto instead of getting Boruto.

I actually enjoyed this standalone a lot, it was nice to get another look at everyone and their kids - especially Sarada, who we barely see in the Chapter 700 epilogue.

I was a little bit disappointed that the villain of this standalone was basically a Danzo clone (also are there just a bunch of Sharingan laying around?? considering the whole clan's been wiped out and the Uchihas are big on ripping eyes out of each other's heads to unlock stronger ocular powers, there seem to be an awful lot of them just hanging out there).

Also, this isn't necessarily a criticism but does anyone ever pay for their crimes in Konoha?? Orochimaru might be under house arrest but he and the rest of Team Taka are just chilling out and Orochimaru is clearly still conducting experiments (hence, Mitsuki) and Kabuto is running an orphanage (and yes, it's nice to see that he was able to find his foster brother after the war) but boy you can do anything and get away with it!! (Also I love that Karin just has Sarada's umbilical cord in her desk)

In this Naruto side story, we get to see what life was like for everyone after the Forth Great Ninja War and how things have changed since the war ended, though we get a lot less than what I was hoping for. We get to meet the next generation of shinobi and learn who married who after Naruto ended. Our main character in this volume is Sasuke and Sakura's daughter, Sarada, who is having an identity crisis. Apparently, Sasuke went out for a pack of cigarettes and never came back in the 11 years that Sarada has been alive. We see multiple instances where Sarada is longing for a relationship with her father, while watching all her friends interacting with their father's. We get a parallel between Sarada and Boruto and how they long to spend time with their father's: Sarada has never even met her father and get immediately shut down whenever she asks questions about him, while Boruto's father is always around, but too busy to spend any meaningful time with him. I'm not really sure how I feel about Naruto and Boruto's relationship in this, I feel like Naruto would spend as much time as he can with his children, even as Hokage, instead of just ignoring his family. I don't even understand why Naruto is so busy since they're in a time of peace. Sadara gets it in her head that Sakura isn't actually her mother because she saw a picture of Karin and they're wearing the same type of glasses. Meanwhile, Sasuke discovers a boy with Sharingan eyes and starts tracking him down. Sarada goes to confide in Cho-Cho, Choji and Kauri's daughter, but conveniently, Cho-Cho has been feeling the same way about her parents, even though she's the spitting image of her parents. Coincidentally, Sarada decides to go after Sasuke just as Naruto gets new intel and immediately goes after him as well. I'm not really sure how I feel about Cho-Cho, there were some times where I thought she was annoying, but she had her moments, too. I just didn't think she was needed. I think Boruto replacing Cho-Cho would have made more sense since his arc parallel Sarada's, but they might delve deeper into that in Boruto's series. Naruto saves the girls from the boy with the Sharingan and we get to see him and Sarada bond a little, which was pretty cute. Seeing Naruto all grown-up was so fun. You can see how much he's matured, while still having his silly attitude. Unfortunately, Sarada's Sharingan awakens just as she meets her father, so he assumes she's another enemy since he hasn't seen his daughter since her birth. Way to go, Sasuke, you almost killed your daughter. She confronts her dad about Karin possibly being her mother and he continues to give nothing-answers that just make everything worse. You would think that Sasuke would cherish his family, especially after everything he's been through. Sakura goes after Sarada after learning where she's gone and saves Sarada and Sasuke just before getting captured by the enemy. Good to know that some things never change. The villain is one of Orochimaru's past experiments that went rogue and has been creating clones of himself. The gang goes to Orochimaru's lair to question him and we get a little reunion with Suigetsu and Jugo. Throughout the volume, there's this constant theme of family and even though someone may not be blood-related, doesn't change how much you love and care for them. This theme is very prominent after Karin asks Suigetsu if he can compare her DNA against Karin's and it comes up positive. Her entire world is shattered, but thankfully Naruto comes to pick up the pieces and tells her that even if they aren't related by blood, that doesn't change how she feels about Sakura. My only question is how did Naruto not notice that Sakura was pregnant? I would assume that he may have been a little busy because of Hinata's pregnancy at the time, but surely he would know that one of his best friend's was having a baby, especially since all of his other friends were having babies at the same time. There's a short reunion with Captain Yamato and I really wish that we could have seen more of him at the end of the main series. They end up saving Sakura and the main villain gets killed by his own clones. After a little intimidation from Kurama, the clones stop fighting and eventually get taken into Konoha's orphanage where Kabuto is running it!! I'm so happy to see Kabuto again and I love this ending for him. We also get some closure with Sarada and Sakura, where Karin reveals that Sarada was born at her hideout, while Sasuke and Sakura were traveling. This volume was pretty cute, but I don't know if it's convinced me to read Boruto yet.

I'm definitely at bliss right now after reading this manga

I loved every scenes, moments. It made me teary (I know, I'm a sensitive-crybaby type of person), smiled, laughed, screaming. In just one manga it gave me all sort of emotions

Yep, definitely in love with this one

That is because

I like Sasuke - Anything involving him (It made me hysterical in a beautiful way)

this was really good!! i really like sarada, she’s very sweet and realistically upset over the absence of her father, sasuke. although i am a little disdainful towards sasuke, i was quite pleased to have a story centred around his family. so much of sasuke’s character in the original manga was about family ties and bonds, so that same theme to be echoed in his daughter was nice. also sakura was awesome in this - i love her so much, she seems like a good mother. was hoping to see more of naruto’s family, but that’ll most likely take place in boruto, but i enjoyed seeing him more as the hokage! he’s still such a sweetheart.

I had already read this long time ago, but reading it again has been so fun.

I love seeing the new characters in Boruto: Naruto next generations and the parents-children interactions in general. Chou-Chou wondering who's her real father was hilarious because she's so alike Choji that the situation was completely out of though. Nonetheless, there was a part where I doubted about everything and almost broke down on tears (thanks Suigetsu for that exhaustive DNA analysis ***rolling the eyes***).

A great extension to the epilogue

So the story being told here isn't inherently groundbreaking. Nor is it shine a great light on the protagonists we've grown to love. But that's okay because what it does do is focus on the new set of characters much more in hopes to bring out intrigue in the sequel series.
Sarada's conflict in this one feels very organic. The only problem I had with it was the fact that the resolution doesn't really make sense. It seems like everything was thrown together last minute. Karin's chakra is imbued in Sarada's umbilical cord because she performed the birthing? Why was Sakura just aimlessly following Sasuke whilst pregnant.

And that sums up this story very nicely actually. This felt organic, however, if you stop and think to question how we got to this point in the first place—it leaves a lot to be desired.

How, if Orochimaru had created perfect artificial mangekyo sharingan did he not manipulate that into a body of his own? Or perhaps an arm or device like Danzo's?

Why does this guy hate Sasuke? Why is the Itachi incident not well known, but the history of Sasuke killing him just readily available?

I really do like that this story followed Sarada and not Boruto. It was a nice switch up and seeing the characters interact with her was fun.

At the end, this story is, like I said earlier an extension to the final chapter of Naruto. We get to learn a bit more about the kids. What some other characters have been up to. Overall, it was a good time. Not overly mind blowing, but i'm surprised they didn't turn this into a movie.

Naruto The Seventh Hokage and The Scarlet Spring is a manga which is about a new generation that is just beginning and Naruto as the Hokage as a lot of paperwork to do, but his son, Boruto constantly wants attention from his father, and Naruto manages to make shadow clones of himself to take care of his Son, but Sasuke Uchiha's daughter, Sadada is the target or could be the target of a mysterious figure who has connections the Uchiha Clan. The manga is very amazing and I really loved how Sadara ended up meeting her father (she had never met her father before). This manga is very outstanding and shows the relationships within the Uchiha family. (Sasuke, Sakura, and Sarada). Anyways, I recommend this manga to any manga readers/lovers. If you are planning to read this manga, just remember that this manga is very well written and it is fantastic.
