It has everything it need to be there on someone's shelf. Vocabulary used was quite remarkable. Emotions filled in well. Sentiments and that touchy thing with Love layered very finely over the thoughts framed. Lucia amazed me once again with her forte. Loved it while reading and best part was the way story cast with droppings of affection in it in regard of the moments planned instead of relying completely on open intimacy which would have made it look more vulgar and shameless. Liked it well. 4.5/5.0
An erotic short story that hints at sex clubs, extreme initiations etc. It doesn’t quite get to that point (I guess the next book is for that), but worth a read if you like that kind of thing.
YES YES YESSSSSSS this is what I’m talking aboutttttt, the spice, the tension CHEF’S FRICKING KISS it’s written in 3rd person but it’s so quick and easy to read!
"A good starter; what's the main course going to be like?"
This girl can write; Maybe she produces full length (no pun intended) novels under another name? Often the few pages 'setting the scene' can be agony to read through because they're so poorly written. You just know that the erotic content will be amateurish and boring. With 'Dare' I found the scene-setting enthralling due to the quality of the writing. As this was only the first chapter in Jessica's journey, her time with Ashton was all too brief and dare I say it not as accomplished as the build-up. The coin is in the air; should I read the other books in the series to discover whether this was a 'teaser' and the really hot episodes are being served up later or not?
I enjoyed reading this book. I couldn't put it down. From beginning to end it kept my attention. I recommend this book to all who likes to read sexy erotic romance novels. I can't wait to read the next book in the series. Anxious. I wasn't to know what happens next.
Choices we have to make in order to survive. This book is about a woman who had it all. Then was betrayed, barely surviving to keep from being put out on the street. Faith steps in and she is left with choices
Another great read. I love how the books from Lucia Jordan come together and make you want more! If you want an interesting read pick up this book. You won't put it down!
A master at the short story. Every particle of storytelling is incapsulated in her 1/4 stories. I don't even mind reading a short cliffhanger when I'm reading one of hers. Anyone else, I would feel jipped that I had to buy the other sequels to get the whole story, but I never feel cheated with her.
A shorter, tamer version of 50 Shades of Gray that doesn't teach anyone a good lesson (not saying that 50 Shades did). Please everyone, if you're not in a long-term committed relationship where both people are getting tested regularly wear condoms even if you trust someone.
Not what I was expecting, only 37 pages long and it was getting you ready for the next book. Not enough to excitement in the book to make buy the next one.
Jessica is a struggling artist. When her artwork @ her gallery show doesn't payout as she hoped. She is desperate to pay her rent. Her friend Susan suggests displaying her work at the exclusive "Rope club" where there will be hundreds of wealthy patrons who would be willing to pay well for her work. Jessica soon discovers that getting entry to the club isn't so easy. Ashton Parker, the elusively infamous billionaire soon will be Jessica' way in. But what does Ashton want for his troubles?
Does Ashton have another agenda for Jessica before considering helping her getting her art put onto the clubs walls? Can Ashton get Jessica to realize that the club can be alluring? Or does the Rope Club give Jessica deep powers to get Ashton open up to Jessica? Read this erotic tale to find out.
I liked the honesty of Jessica's behaviour and motivation. There is obviously more to her back story and I am curious to see who the first man was and what went wrong. I'm not a fan of big dramatic scenes of jealous confrontation and hope that this too will be too short and fast paced to dwell on drama
Straight up erotica with minimal plot and the most rushed character development ever. The sex was pretty good, which is the whole point of a book like this.
If I had DL'ed this with the intention of getting erotica it would have been 4 stars, but I thought I was getting a romance, hence the 2-stars.
