It's an ok light read but I skimmed lots of it.
Can only think the positive reviews are all from a coding club!
Ethan it takes until 92% to find out he's 42yrs. He's very formal and work orientated. Yes there's big issues at work but it's never explained why those are coming to light now, and he ignores everything else.
Addy her voice felt unnatural, forced quirkiness. She looks far too young to have a 5yr old, later learn she's 28yrs. No idea how old her ex is considering he was a longterm friend of Ethan.
The sex. Ethan ran hot until he went cold. After that I was distracted by the fact it was living area/kitchen when his 5yr old son could have woken up any time. Any chemistry got lost to the plot.
Conversations don't feel real. Ethan is referred to as the billionaire repeatedly, to his face even. It's his defining feature, word billionaire used 40 times in the book.
Ethan starts off a pilot, then he's a ceo, it took me a long while to figure he was building systems when the word 'architecture' was bandied around - it's his 5yr old builds airports, he's a techie. I'm not into coding, but then neither is his nanny who spots 4yr old links experts miss. It's all very technical and they seemed to spot the same issue a number of times. Far too many pages are given to coding. It was demonstratively more important than Abby.
Obviously bad ex is actually evil. Liked that Celeste turned out not to be stereotypical sidepiece though.

Wonderfully fun nanny/employer romance
This is a fun, well written, heartwarming and entertaining story. With a mile-high one night stand, nanny/employer romance, brilliant character chemistry, wonderful banter, twists, attraction, healing and found family, a nanny with a sunshine personality, billionaire single dad, an overly friendly golden retriever, a sweet little boy, romance and love.
When Addy is dumped in the airport before moving her life she thinks things just can't get better, but fate takes pity on her and she's upgraded to 1st class and ends up joining the mile-high club with the man in the seat next to her. Then finding herself in Chicago with no home, no job and no luck; she starts applying for nanny jobs and is shocked when she gets to one interview to find that it's with the man from the plane.
Ethan has a lot on his plate, still getting over the death of his wife and trying to raise his son. With his current nanny leaving sooner than expected he starts interviews, with Oliver's help, for a new one but Oliver doesn't take a liking to any of them, until a last minute extra interviewee arrives and both Oliver and Captain, their dog, like her. Ethan's problem is he likes her too, only she's the girl from the plane and he knows he shouldn't.

Addy's new adventure turns into a nightmare when her now ex-fiancé decides that their relationship isn't working and leaves her at the airport devastated. Addy decides to go anyway which is where she connects with Ethan. Their banter on the plane leads to an intimate encounter, a one and done thinking she will never see him again so imagine her surprise when the nanny position that she applied to lands them together again. Ethan has a lot on his plate he is still coming to terms with his wife's death and all the drama surrounding it all while trying to raise his son. He wasn't looking for a relationship but Addy walks right in and falls right into place with his son making his life lighter. Close proximity has feels developing and when his best friend comes to visit it almost leads to war because he is none other than the man that ruined Addy's life at the airport. I loved this story from the hilarious banter and antics to the colorful characters that drew me into this story and had me hooked until the last page.

I absolutely loved how Addy and Ethan meet with Addy being snippy with him and then meeting him in the airplane bathroom and steaming up the room with their sexual antics. Then shortly afterwards her showing up to apply for the nanny position Ethan advertised for his son Oliver. The whole dynamics was hilarious and sweet and them finding it hard to stay away from each other. I enjoyed the element of danger and the mystery of Ethan’s deceased wife’s tragic accident and eventually proving she wasn’t responsible for the plane crash. I laughed so hard at Captain’s antics and chaos he caused. Mostly, I love the whole story and the happily ever after.

Summer James’ newest release is a captivating tale of Addy and Ethan’s relationship. The main characters are well-developed, dialogue and banter is wonderful, and the story is fabulous. The chemistry Ethan and Addy share is electric, and Addy’s sense of humor shines through every thought and interaction. As an example, in an interaction with a flight attendant, Addy responds to a flight attendant with: “Yes, I’d love that. I’d actually marry you for this, but I’m currently taking a short break from poor decision-making.” Reading Triplet Babies for my Ex’s Best Friend will be time well spent.

Love love love this book
Humor, snark, emotion, growth, steam, and wonderful characters.
(not a spoiler since it is in the title!) The baby on board knowlege doesn't occur until later in the book so we get time to get to know the main characters without that portion of the story.
I really liked this book. There have been other stories by other authors where I get tired of the trope so I get hesitant to pick up but this one was truly wonderful.
No regrets except that I really wish I had grabbed the book before this one!.

Poor Addy has been through the wringer but is determined to land on her feet in one piece; I admire her tenacity. Ethan is great at doing his billionaire Dad thing, while being unsettled by the past. Now plane obsessed Oliver and the manipulative retriever, Captain, are being healed by Abby’s sunshine. I love Abby’s fun and snarky attitude and how it affects everyone around her, especially Ethan. absolutely everyone should read this!
Look, this isn't a great work of literature. It wasn't supposed to be. It's smutty, predictable, and exactly what it's meant to be. It's also HILARIOUS! I laughed the whole way through!

Her Ex is a piece of work, and the more you learn about him the worst he gets. She is having one of the worst days of her life and he is right there for all of it. Now here she is in a new city with nothing to her name but 2 suitcases and little to no savings. His nanny is moving so now he needs a new one and when she walks thru his door he is at a loss for what to do. Lines get crossed and once crossed there is no turning back. When he finds the missing pieces to his past everything changes. I would love to read more, maybe about her sister.
