51: a novel

Rate this book
Set during 51 minutes in 1951, in Nevada's infamous Area 51, this is a story that unfolds purely in Teletype-to-Teletype chat dialogue. Stationed in the lonely, spooky Nevada desert, a naive but determined soldier must discover the true identity of a seductive, potentially deadly shape-shifter before the entire area is leveled by the massive destruction she warns of, and may herself be the cause of. She may be a beautiful Vegas call girl, a communist spy, a superior officer warning of space alien takeover, or even—is it possible?—an alien presence herself...
