From a libris: As summer vacation begins, a teen-age girl resents that nothing seems to happen in her small town, but by fall she wishes nothing ever had.
I loved Carol Beach York's book On That Dark Night, because it had the elements I love (ESP, ghosts, etc), so I picked up this one thinking it would have something similar. It did not, and was much slower paced, but I did enjoy it. I think of it as a quiet book. It felt very different from her other book and some readers who need a little more excitement in their reading may not like it.
