Cal Satterfield stole readers’ hearts (& mine) all the way back in Terms and Traditions, and it was only fair to give him his time in the spotlight.

This story of forgiveness and redemption is for the ones who’ve held it together with a smile and never let anyone see their frayed edges. It’s for the ones who finally broke and the ones who are still healing. Who are learning it’s okay to accept help and that their worth isn’t tied to their accomplishments.

From one eldest daughter to another, I see you. You are worthy of love just for being you; you don’t have to earn it. And for the chronically ill girlies, I see you, too. You’re braver than you know. 🫶🏻
