Loved it

Excellent book with true ghost stories. The stories are short which makes this an ideal book to pick up and put down again. I haven't seen anything more from this author but I really hope there is more soon.

Great read!!

I've read several books on the paranormal and have found some of them annoyingly bad, this however was an interesting read that kept me wanting more, I was disapointed to have finished it. I would recomend this to anyone with an interest in the paranormal who wants an interesting read😃

Well written spooky stories

Interesting and well written book. Liked the fact that some had happened to people he knew and were not rehashed from other books also the stories were more believable than similar books.

Spooked up

Fantastic book and exciting scary. I loved reading the stories in this book. Easy to read too. It literally felt like I was sat in a taxi talking about ghost with the taxi driver. Would definitely recommend reading it.

Story-telling, at its old-fashioned best!

Could imagine sitting in his taxi, chatting away, or listening to his yarns, loved the way you felt this man was someone you knew, had a wonderful way of pulling you into every story, but still remained on the side lines, of the huge debate of life after death and paranormal experiences. Read this book in one go late at night, can imagine the stories would be even better told around a campfire. Hope he writes some more as I have had a few experiences myself, and I'm certain many other readers have too.

A fascinating read

I gave this one a four star rating because the content of the stories is fascinating, whilst the chatty, colloquial writing style is a bit naïve and might not be to every reader's taste.
The stories, some of which are quite disturbing, are real food for thought for anyone who has ever experienced something unexplained.

More like a friendly chat than a book

If I hadn't been so tired, I'd have read this in one sitting. Carle takes the reader on a journey through the supernatural in his cab. Don't forget the tip!

Interesting

Quiet interesting, sort of outside approach to ghost stories. Read a few books like this but the author is always a complete believer.

Really enjoyed reading this book,

Well worth a read , I enjoy a short tale better than a longer one and the author delivers at every level. I am hoping to see another book from him .
