3 books6 followersI wouldn’t call myself a writer… at least, not in the traditional sense. I enjoy writing, but it isn’t my profession. Still, I suppose if you spend enough time creating stories, you earn the title whether you intended to or not.
By day, I work in sales. I live with my partner and our dachshund, Jasper. I love to read but most of all, I've discovered a love for writing.
Writing started as a way to keep my mind active outside of work, something to break the cycle of long days followed by evenings lost to scrolling and routine. What began as a small creative outlet quickly became something more, a way to think differently, to explore ideas, and to give shape to an overactive imagination that refused to sit still.
I started with poetry, building a personal collection that I initially printed just for myself, a simple record of something I had created. No expectations, no audience. Just proof that I could.
From there, my writing evolved. What began as a collection of short, experimental stories grew into something much larger than I had planned. Finishing that first book, and choosing to publish it, wasn’t about success or sales. It was about putting something into the world and being able to say, “I wrote that.”
Since then, writing and reading have become more than hobbies, they’ve become an escape, a reset, and, in many ways, a quiet kind of saviour. I love getting lost in a story, whether it’s one I’ve written or one I’ve discovered.
Not many people know my name, and that’s okay. For now, I’m content in my small space, continuing to write, to explore, and to lose myself in different worlds. Because sometimes, a good story is exactly what you need to step away from the noise of the real one.

This book was utterly amazing. It was such a great story. Austin and Henry are so absolutely wonderful. N. E. A. Ferne has crafted a wonderful book that takes a look at the journey of two people finding themselves by finding each other.
His writing flows so smoothly and the dialog is so easy to read. The relationship that develops and the issues that each character deals with felt real.
I easily give this 5 out of 5 stars.
His next book The Confessions of a London Rent Boy is up soon and I can't wait to read it. It is a spin-off from this book and if it is even half as good as Sanctuary then I am in for a real treat. See you soon, Red.

I discovered this book through a recommendation from a fellow author on Instagram, and it more than delivered on its promise of a captivating, high-heat romance.
To say it is "readable" is an understatement. This book is an absolute page-turner that completely consumed me, forcing me to devour it in just three days.
The setup is brilliantly straightforward yet deeply engrossing: closeted global pop icon on tour hires a London-based male escort for some discrete fun in Suite 412.
While the initial premise is simple, the execution is filled with rich detail and layers of emotional complexity. The chemistry between the two leads is instantaneous, evolving from an immediate sexual compatibility into a deep, consuming love story, complete with a heavy, agonisingly good dose of denial along the way.
The narrative is well structured and perfectly paced. The author choices to tell the story through alternating perspectives, chapter by chapter, is a great plot device, allowing the story to step along at pace. It offers a fascinating, natural progression that feels like a genuine, voyeuristic glimpse into a world of luxury and excess. I was so utterly captivated by the opening that I unintentionally read through a fifth of the book in a single pick up.

These are hands down some of the best-conceived and most vividly described sex scenes I have ever read in the genre. There is absolutely nothing tame about it; the encounters are frequent, graphic, down-and-dirty, and entirely fabulous. To put it into perspective: it makes Heated Rivalry look like Hans Christian Anderson.
While I desperately didn't want this journey to end, I was racing to find out how it all wrapped up. I had my own theories about the conclusion, and while I was partly right, the actual ending was incredibly satisfying and utterly adorable.

For romance readers who want flawless pacing, genuine emotional stakes, and an unforgettable level of heat, this book is an absolute must-read.

Some books are spicy. The Sanctuary of Suite 412 is positively scorching!!!
If you’re looking for a spicy MM romance that doesn’t just fade to black, The Sanctuary of Suite 412 absolutely delivers. The sex scenes are some of the hottest I’ve read in ages. They’re detailed, incredibly well written, and somehow manage to be ridiculously sexy while still pushing the relationship forward. They never felt like they were there just for the sake of it. Every encounter told me something new about the inner workings of Henry and Austin.
What truly elevates this novel, however, is that beneath all of its heat lies a genuinely moving love story.
Henry is a high-end London escort who genuinely loves his job, while Austin is a closeted country music superstar trying to hold his entire life together after one very public wardrobe malfunction where his large endowment made an appearance on stage. On paper, it sounds like a fun, sexy setup. What I didn’t expect was how invested I’d become in them as people.
They’re funny, vulnerable, frustrating, and completely believable. I found myself rooting for them much harder than I thought I would. By the time they were forced apart by the realities of their worlds, I was honestly worried that a happy ending wasn’t in sigh.
The world-building is equally convincing. From the glamour and pressure of Austin’s celebrity life to Henry’s carefully structured professional world, everything feels authentic. Ferne’s voice is confident, playful, and effortlessly engaging, making it incredibly easy to lose yourself in the story. I genuinely believed these people existed or that he was writing from first hand knowledge.
What says the most about this book is how often I found myself reaching for it. Even during one of my busiest weeks, every spare ten or fifteen minutes I had was spent diving back into Henry and Austin’s story. That’s always the sign of a great read for me. The kind of book that refuses to stay closed because you’re constantly wondering what happens next.
N.E.A. Ferne deserves a much wider audience. If this novel is any indication of what this author can do, then more readers need to discover these books. The writing is entertaining, genuinely funny at times, emotionally satisfying, incredibly erotic, and consistently well crafted. This book had my attention right from the get go! And it did not disappoint.
Henry is a high class escort in London with impeccable service and ratings. He is able to make a comfortable living from his work: he is fit, attractive, has high standards to which clients must agree, and he LOVES having sex. He lives in the manor home of his deceased grandfather, which he inherited outright. With his best friend Nicky nearby, he is living a happy life.
Austin Rayne is a country rock star who has achieved fame not only from his performance, but for his songwriting, lending his lyrical talent to other artists. Austin is also gay, but he can’t let the world know, for fear of losing his fans and his career.
At a concert at Wembly Stadium in London, Austin suffers a wardrobe malfunction: his blue jeans rip wide open, exposing his LONG… length (?) to the world. As he tries to do damage control for his career, Austin retreats to a secret suite at the Savoy.
Lonely in suite 412, Austin contacts Henry through a booking app and purchases his services for a night. And what a night it ends up being, as the two have mind-bending sexy times together. Austin engages Henry’s services a few more times over the next week.
But this is turning into more than just sex for hire. The men begin talking and learning about each others’ lives, getting very close during their time together.
As Austin heads to Melbourne for the next leg of his tour, his time with Henry is cut short, and the two don’t have a chance to properly say goodbye. They both feel this loss, but there are secretly other forces at work trying to keep them apart.

I expected this book to be spicy, and it was! Zero complaints - it was amazing in that way! Five-star spice.
What I did not expect was to care so much about these men and their happiness. I found myself quite invested in making sure that Austin and Henry would be okay.
I actually put the book down to go to sleep because I had to work, and then woke up early because I couldn’t stop thinking about these guys. I had to know!!! And while I sighed sadly before going to bed, I cried happy tears in the end.
NEA Ferne wrote well-developed main characters I cared about, with a small supporting cast that created tension, drama, and even comic relief throughout the story. There were beautiful moments like the two men dancing to “Here You Come Again” by Dolly Parton in Henry’s Camden living room, sad moments like Henry walking out of Suite 412 for a final time with tears in his eyes, and tense moments like a dinner between Henry, his mom, and his abusive and homophobic step-father, that made me enjoy this book so much.
It gets a solid five stars from me because I was so invested in the outcome.

This book is amazing!!! I read it in one day because I had to know their whole story. Henry and Austin each go on an amazing personal journey where they are unapologetically themselves. The way N.E.A Ferne has weaved this tale to make these characters collide into each other’s lives is spectacular. From the beginning, I genuinely cared for both of them and hoped for their happiness and success. Everyone needs to read this book!
