I've read the whole Close Encounters series and hope there's more to come. This one was just as sweet as the rest of the series. Maci is the good girl, slightly nerdy and Chase is the bad boy football player. They end up tutoring each other when they start to get closer and Chase quickly realizes Maci is different from what he's use to and doesn't want to give her up. This was a good quick read that I would recommend for anyone looking for something lighthearted

This story started off really good and then it went to crap. Maci became repetitive and shallow. Not a good book.

A hot sexy read to warm up your winter holidays. Fast paced and a general easy read it doesn t lack steam, romance and spice. The story line easily captivates the reader and the characters are well rounded and believable. Recommended for any romance avid reader who wants to curl up on a cold winter day with a enjoyable easy read.

Now when I found out that there was going to be a Christmas Close Encounters book I was genuinely excited because I loved reading the series last year. So you can imagine the excitement when I started to read it, now don’t get me wrong the plot to the story and the characters are pretty good. However I found it to be a little too fast paced, compared to the original books in the series. I would have liked to have known how this book fitted in because whilst you had some of the characters from the original books, this didn’t exactly go into much detail. I know that this book is meant to be a standalone and separate, but at the same I feel that this maybe would have worked a bit better if this would have tied in more, for example when reading this book you can see that there is details that don’t seem to add up or that parts have been repeated. At the end of the first chapter after the initial meeting between Macy and Chase, you go straight ahead to their biology class. Now I get that Macy doesn’t want to be partners with Chase but instead of hearing the reasons why or what happens, in the next chapter which is from Chase’s point of view you go backwards, back to where they first met. Normally that wouldn’t bother me but with the way that this book goes back and forth instead of going forward it didn’t work for me.

Throughout the whole book I found myself having to keep taking a break from reading it as I couldn’t cope with the way each chapter was, normally I don’t really have to put a book down and then pick it back up as I am normally fully engaged into the story, but for me this is one of them times that it took me a while to read. For this review I really wasn’t sure how I could write it because I didn’t want to offend the author just because I didn’t love it or to me think it worked. But at the same time I know for a fact that whilst I wasn’t a lover of this book, there is going to be people out there that will love this book. Everyone’s opinions are different and that’s what you have to remember, if you feel like you want to give this book a go then you should go ahead and do that.

Each time I finish a book by C.C.Cartwright I honestly can't wait for the next one, as what she manages to do with her books is write them in a way which will captivate you in and also not want to stop. I love how in each book the story grips my attention making me want to see what the end result will be.

I love how the girls are taking each day of their college life as it comes by and enjoying everything that they are doing. They are having fun with all the boys, however for Clarissa she seems to be struggling because she wants to be with her professor but she is also debating her feelings for Jason a guy in one of her classes. How will the other girls get on or is there going to be heartbreak in store for them

I seriously love these books, the characters, the story, everything about them is just brilliant. The fact that book three and this one have introduced the perspectives of different characters adds depth and diversity to the story. If you have read the others then this is a must read, if not then go and get them, you will love each and every one.

Macy Dalton (Nerd) & Chase Hawkins - No strings attached kind of guy (Frat Boy Football Player) make a deal to tutor each-other. He will teach her human anatomy & she will tutor him in biology. A beautifully written novella that is well developed with no plot holes. With enchanting character's that are realistic with real emotions and flaws. This novella is sweet & spicy sexy with decadently delicious scenes. An intriguing novella that kept me captivated right from the beginning. A perfect ending to this yummy novella that I highly recommend reading. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reading copy of this book.

Close Encounters Christmas, I voluntarily review this book. This's the story of Chase Hawkins a sexy football player and sexy virgin and smart Maci Dalton. They are both students on the college campus of USC and this is were the story takes place. The novella is short but sweet and sexy at the same time. An intriguing novella that will keep you captivated right from the beginning. Chase likes Maci and ends up talking her into tutoring him in biology. They got a lot of chemistry, their relationship is sweet and spicy. You need to read the story to see what happens, so go buy the book!

Awesome story... however, I felt the ending was a bit rushed. I'm not saying you can't fall in love that fast with someone, but to take the route Maci and Chase did was a bit rushed in my opinion.
