Killer Dolls: Andy & Anna

Rate this book
ANDY STONE IS RUNNING FROM THE COPS.

ANNABELLA LARSON IS BEHIND THE WHEEL.

Lovers, thieves, and killers, the pair have left a trail of bodies across state lines. But when a botched escape sends them crashing into an old toy store on a storm-soaked night, the law finally closes in.

Bleeding, desperate, and out of options, Anna and Andy hide among dusty shelves of forgotten dolls.

Then lightning strikes.

When the storm passes, the lovers are no longer human. Their souls are trapped inside the bodies of two rag dolls—stitched smiles, button eyes, and absolutely no thumbs.

But killers don't stop killing just because they're stuffed with cotton.

What follows is a blood-soaked rampage of dark humor, brutal revenge, and hilariously twisted banter as Anna and Andy discover that being a doll doesn't make them harmless...

It just makes them harder to kill.

Perfect for fans of outlaw lovers like Bonnie and Clyde and the wicked killer-doll chaos of Chucky, Killer Dolls: Anna & Andy is a splatter-filled horror ride where love never dies—it just gets stitched back together.

Y’all… imagine Bonnie and Clyde waking up as murderous rag dolls after a lightning strike. 🪆⚡ That’s Killer Dolls: Andy & Anna, and it is gloriously unhinged from start to finish.

Andy and Anna are toxic, twisted soulmates whose botched getaway lands them inside stitched-up dolls—but losing their human bodies doesn’t slow their killing spree one bit. Watching these tiny terrors adapt is equal parts hilarious and horrifying.

C.K. Smith delivers razor-sharp dark humor, wildly creative kills, and nonstop pacing that never gives you a chance to catch your breath. Beneath all the blood-soaked chaos is a surprisingly entertaining love story between two delightfully deranged characters.

If Chucky crashed into a splatter comedy with Bonnie and Clyde riding shotgun, this would be the result. Bloody, bonkers, and ridiculously fun, this one had me grinning from its first stitch to its last. 🩸🧸

Killer Dolls: Andy and Anna by C.K. Smith delivers a familiar, Chucky inspired experience that fans of the slasher franchise will likely find entertaining, though it doesn’t fully lean into the suspense or horror elements one might expect.
The story moves at a fairly quick pace overall, making it an easy read, but there are noticeable slower sections that can interrupt the momentum. Rather than focusing heavily on slasher-style tension, the book leans more into plot-driven storytelling and drama. Because of that, it often feels less like a horror novel and more like a high stakes drama.
In many ways, this reads more like a reinterpretation of the Chucky story than a fresh take inspired by it. While there are some new elements, such as the inclusion of children and additional side tangents; the core background and structure feel heavily influenced by the original series, which may make parts of the story feel predictable for longtime fans.
One detail that stood out in a frustrating way was Corbin’s characterization. He’s portrayed as highly tech-savvy, capable of navigating police files and using advanced software, yet somehow needs to fabricate a story just to ask his dad how much it would cost to travel to Newark. It’s a small inconsistency, but it’s hard to ignore in a modern setting where a quick online search would answer that instantly.
Overall, the book is an okay read. It offers enough familiarity and pacing to keep fans engaged, but it doesn’t quite deliver the suspense or originality needed to make it stand out. While it may appeal to Chucky enthusiasts, it’s not something I would personally revisit, even if it continued as a series.

Killer Dolls: Andy & Anna by C.K. Smith

First of all, thank you—again—to C.K. Smith for letting me read another one of your books. At this point, I’m starting to suspect you enjoy enabling my questionable taste in fictional murder.

What can I say? This is one of those books where you’ll either absolutely love it or wonder what is wrong with people like me. I, unfortunately, fall into the first category.

This isn’t a complicated story, and honestly, it doesn’t need to be. Sometimes all I want is old-school slasher energy, creepy dolls, a healthy amount of murder, and enough darkness to make my inner horror-loving goblin clap with excitement. This book delivered exactly that.

The Chucky vibes were impossible to miss, but it never felt like a copy. It felt familiar in the way comfort food feels familiar—if your comfort food happens to be possessed dolls and body counts. There were enough twists sprinkled throughout to keep things interesting without turning the story into a tangled knot that requires a detective board and three energy drinks to understand.

The moment I started reading, I transformed into a full-time reading gremlin. Responsibilities disappeared. Common sense packed its bags. I was completely invested.

I loved the little bit of time-travel chaos mixed into the story, and the ending gave me exactly what I was hoping for. Was it completely unexpected? Not really. Did I still want it to happen? Absolutely. Sometimes the darkest outcome is the most satisfying one.

By the time I finished, it felt less like I’d read a book and more like I’d watched one of those gloriously disturbing horror movies I grew up loving. The kind that leaves you grinning while everyone else questions your mental stability.

So yes, five vengeful stars from me.

If you’re a Chucky fan, love old-school slasher horror, and enjoy stories that make innocent objects feel slightly threatening, then pick this up. Just don’t expect to look at ragdolls the same way afterward. And if the idea of soul splitting sounds unsettling now, wait until you’re finished.

Sweet dreams.

ARC COPY....

Wholly shit I didn't expect this, it started more like two lovers on the run a Bonny & Clyde moment... then bam we have dolls. Freaking rag dolls, instantly like that, that Chucky nostalgia hit hard hahaha. The best parts are the arguments between the dolls, their banter and fighting, and the fact THEY HAVE NO FREAKING FINGERS.

CK is brilliant in writing this, the entire story left me in stitches. Corbin is an adorable sidekick and the ending... now that's how you end a story. This was such a quick read I ate it up so fast.

This was a pretty cool story. I did feel the Bonnie and Clyde vibes in this, but it also felt like it could be related to the Chucky movie. I hated that movie. Love Bonnie and Clyde. But overran, I think this was a great murderish type story. It didn’t lean heavy on the horror and gore, which is great because I don’t need to be traumatized by childhood dolls lol. But I did kind the thrill and humor it had. I read a lot of dark romance and horror, so this was actually a really nice change. It kept me engaged and wanting to kept turning the pages. Overall, it was a really fun read.

If you enjoy killer dolls, then may I suggest "Killer Dolls: Andy & Anna" by C.K. Smith? I absolutely loved this book; it was giving me Chucky vibes, which is my all-time favorite. This book was full of suspense that kept me hooked from the very beginning until the end. The ending of this book surprised me, but I loved it. I highly recommend this book!

This read more like a B rated movie. It had the potential to be so much more. I didn't like the ending at all, but I want a thriller that will freak me out.
