Blended Blessings #2

Through It All

Rate this book
Angelia Holley knows she'd never win a mother-of-the-year award. But was her example so bad that it drove her daughter, Amber, to repeat the pattern of teenage pregnancy? And why did Amber pick J.D. of all people to father her baby?

While Angelia is forming a bond with her stepdaughter Skylar, twin sister Tyler isn't nearly as fond of the new "family" forming in the Holley household. When Tyler starts to act out, will Angelia be able to keep her mouth shut and let her husband and the girls' mother work this out?

And the baby of the family, Demarcus, suddenly wants to bond with his biological father. Should Angelia swallow her pride, overlook the years of lack of financial/emotional support, and allow Demarcus to form a bond with the man who has never been there for him?

Join Angelia and Darren Holley as they continue with the growing pains of a blended family as they mature in their knowledge of the One who can help them through.

Through It All is part 2 in the Blended Blessings series. The Holley family is faced with more life challenges. They are learning to overcome and move on. I enjoyed this book and even if you are not going through what the family in the story is going through you can find something that will help in whatever situation. I like that it is not too preachy. I definitely recommend this one and will read the next book in the series.

Through it All ( Blended Blessings 2)

The 2nd book in Blended Blessings was inspirational, emotional with an accident that almost take the life of Skylar one of the twins, Amber had her baby boy and her boy friend said the baby not mixed and left the hospital, The families draw closer the twin apologise about their behaviour towards their stepmother.
The twins girls are 14 yrs old but because of their up bringing their behaviour was so bad that they fight over boyfriend and angry all the time, also fight and got suspended from school
This was another good read by Michelle Simpson and Cassandra McLaughlin.

The Holley's are definitely a work in progess.

Loves the blending of families! Angelia had her work cut out for her with her bonus twin daughters. I love the changes in the family fromp book one to book two. The relationship between Angelia and Darren is realistic and loving. Book three is calling me!

Can’t put it down!

I liked the fact that all of the people talked about were in all three books and you got to know them all. All three books were real page turners and I had to make myself close the Kindle at night so I could go to sleep!

Loved, loved Through It All. The characters are so relatable. The biblical references adds so much to the book. They offer all of us something to hold onto for our own situations in life.

I couldn’t read quickly enough or put it down.
This series deserves more than five stars.

The authors did a great job continuing the story about blended families. Many families go through different obstacles in this story it shows with God all things are possible. This book will have you experiencing many emotions. you will experience, friendships good and bad, parenting issues good and bad, peer pressure, etc. After all is said and done we have to remember God loves us no matter what and we all will experience stuff and with him we can survive many attacks against the enemy.

Beautiful story!!

A beautiful story of love, forgiveness & another chance! This family made it only by the love, grace & mercy of God! They showed a true example of family love & support...everybody except for Marcy & J.D. They should remain on the family's prayer list! Great job authors!

Through it all book 2!!! I enjoyed reading this book. This book is about a blended family and their ups and downs. There are a ton of twists and turns in this book. Combining two families can be hard work; I speak from experience, but with God All Things Are Possible. I enjoyed the scriptures…Awesome job, on to book 3!!
