Alex had everything going for him. As the star point guard for the university basketball team, the entire campus was at his fingertips. Every female on campus wanted a chance to spend time with him. Everybody was rooting for him. Things change one day after practice when his coach calls him into his office. His coach tells him that he's at risk of being declared academically ineligible to play. With his grades faltering, Alex has no choice but to talk to his professors and plead for them to raise his grades.

The first professor he speaks to is Professor Sanders. Alex asks the professor for a chance to bring up his grades and he's presented with a vague opportunity for extra credit. Determined to get his grades up, Alex agrees to do what his professor asks of him. He quickly gets more than he bargained for. To improve his grades and get back on the basketball court, the star athlete Alex is going to have to do things he's never done before.
