Your life can change in the blink of an eye.
How you adapt to these changes is what defines you.

Jake Fox is an aspiring actor who has found little success.
He is also a typical, cliche, bad boy, who 'loves them and leaves them' without love ever coming into the equation.

Emma Campbell is finding her way in life, struggling with memories from her past, an apathetic mother and the choices ahead of her. Can she keep focused on the light when life keeps surrounding her in darkness?

Polar opposites, will love be the thread that binds them or will circumstances beyond their control, tear them apart?

*Suitable for readers Age 18+ due to some disturbing scenes and sexual content*

USA Today Bestselling Author, ES Carter, lives in Cardiff, South Wales. The home of castles, dragons and folklore.
Her family joke that she was born with a book in her hand, and the urge to write stories soon followed.
At eleven, she won her school's literary prize. At ages fourteen to sixteen - her poetry phase after falling in love with Dylan Thomas and e.e. cummings - she had a few poems published, but life, love and family overtook her dreams, and she was in her thirties when she began the scary journey of self-publishing.
Her debut and internationally best-selling series, 'Love by Numbers', are a set of interconnected stand alone romances, all with varying themes of love. From second-chance to romantic comedy and M/M romance. These stories do not need to be read in order, in fact, she is often guilty of advising readers to start at the last book and work their way back through.
Contemporary romance is not the only genre she writes, her second series, 'The Red Order', is as dark and twisted as you can get, but there is beauty there too if you can open your eyes and look.
With many more stories bursting to be set free, she hopes you stay along for the ride.
She loves to connect with readers, so please feel free to friend/follow her on Facebook, IG and Twitter or join her reader's group, E's Elite <3

I tried okay, I really really did! Considering I'm not a romance reader, I tried extra hard to finish this but I can't...

Even after Is this supposed to be a 'love' story? But as I said, I am really ignorant on such predicaments, so...

I am out of here...

"In the beginning I never thought it would be you..."

I've been lucky enough to get an ARC in exchange for an honest review and now I'm cursing Miss E.S. Carter for giving me a splitting headache and heart palpitations with a great ending for this beautifully written book.

There's so much I could say, but I don't want to give away spoilers and it's hard to do that when you liked a book this much. I'll just say this - it's a witty book, fun, but also sad at times, with great dialogue between interesting characters. Jake and Emma, the hero and heroine of our story are two lovable characters, they are different yet they work together perfectly. The secondary characters are incredibly likable, Harry aka H and his 'dry humping' comments, Nate and his manwhoring ways, Liam and his clever nicknames, Liv, one of the best BFFs ever ....I'm just in awe at how much I liked them.
Now onto the story - I loved that nothing was rushed, there's a love story build up that's needed, I got to see that change/growth of the main characters and experience it along with them.
The ending!!!! Loved it!!! I'm excited to see where Miss E.S. Carter will take the story next!

Talk about a book slump... This didn't work for me either. The problem being the storyline, it's just not for me. Also, I really disliked the H.

For those worried about safety: I'd say it's NOT safe. Pm me if you'd like more info.

I was lucky to receive an Arc of Nineteen the debut novel by E.S Carter.
This book was beautifully written and effortless to read, the story just poured of the pages, and I honestly didn't want it to end.
Nineteen has two main characters Jake and Emma and its written in dual POV which gives this story an edge because straight away we get to know what both of them are thinking and feeling, which I loved.
Jake is a bad boy and he loves to share his love with any willing female! He takes this role very seriously and is therefore known as a Man Whore! by his best mate Harry and his brothers who also feature in this story.
Emma is the girl next door, although she doesn't think much of herself, she's sassy, quietly determined and very easy to fall in love with. Her best mate Liv who is larger than life is more like a sister to her and their friendship is a very strong one.
I loved all the banter and humour between the characters, it felt like they were my mates which made me fall in love with them even more.
The backstory at the start, built a fantastic picture in my mind of who they are which then helped me link things together as the story progressed.
And what a unique story it is!!
E.S Carter has worked her magic in this debut book it has everything, humour which had my laughing out loud! believable characters, sexy hot scenes, heartbreaking moments which tore at my soul, then there were the shocking scenes which left me speechless!!!!!
I devoured Nineteen in a day and I can't wait to see what E.S has in store for us in the next book, I need more Jake and Emma now!!!!
A well deserved 5*
And In the words of Jake......
My blood boils with anticipation, I want to own every, single, piece of her. ❤️❤️❤️

Spoiler free dual book review. Both books are to be read in order.

“…you have it all wrong. You overwhelm him because he feels things for you that he has never felt before. It’s scaring the shit out of him.”

We were first introduced to E.S. Carter’s Fox-William clan in Three, Liam’s story, and it was here we relished the camaraderie and the deep family bond between the five Fox-William brothers and their parents, not to mention the heartfelt romance between these men and the women who consume their hearts, leaving us with a big desire to know more!

“I bloody knew it. My little brother, the man whore, has finally found someone he has feelings for, well fuck me.”

We had read Three as a ‘standalone’ and whilst we enjoyed every moment of Liam’s story, we did feel as though we were ‘missing’ out on something. There were characters and storylines in Three that were interconnected from Nineteen and Twenty One, particularly the close friendship between Emma (Jules) and Liam and Emma and Jakes romantic relationship which was explored in Nineteen and Twenty One.

Knowing that H’s (a close friend of the Fox-William brothers) was due for release this month, we decided we wouldn’t proceed any further with the story until we had a chance to catch up and explore Jake and Emma’s story and we’re so glad we did. In a strange way, to have already experienced the point at which Emma and Jake were at in Three, the man Jake had become helped us relate more to his character in the preceding books and we didn’t feel as though the story had been spoiled in any way as there was so much we didn’t know going into these books that wasn’t touched on in Three.

“I fucking know that Nate, but she keeps running and every time she does, she takes a piece of me with her, it hurts Nate…It fucking hurts.”

Jake is a very different man to the one we me in Three. He’s a tart and makes no apologies. He has an insatiable sexual appetite and has no qualm in fulfilling his needs with whatever pretty thing takes his fancy. Now, we know there are readers who don’t like the thought of their hero getting all hot and bothered with anyone other than the heroine but we appreciated the way E.S. Carter had us experiencing Jake’s roving ways first hand because it made the moment he realised his feelings for Emma, and the confliction he was feeling, all the more believable when it did eventuate.

‘I only play with women like me, women who know all I’m offering is a few hours to escape into a haze of sex and lust, nothing more.
The Emma’s of this world are not made for a man like me.’

Jake and Emma couldn’t have been more different. Jake the conceited cock who found it very hard to express his emotions and Emma the sweet girl who wore her heart on her sleeve and was riddled with self-doubt were right for each other in so many ways. On the surface, they shouldn’t have been attracted to each other, but there were certainly not only sparks, but something between them that went soul deep.

‘Love is one soul, living in two bodies, beating in two hearts, making them whole.’

For Emma and Jake the timing couldn’t have been worse. Jakes TV career was starting to take off, his star was on the rise and his bad boy persona was perfect fodder for the paparazzi. Emma was coasting along, looking for a change in her life and life was about to change in the blink of an eye for her in the most heartbreaking of ways.

‘How can you follow your heart if it’s even more confused than your head?‘

Emma and Jake had to part ways, one needing to reaffirm and restart their life and one coming to terms with feelings that couldn’t be explained, however fate has other ideas!

We did have a bit of an issue with Nineteen and Twenty One which was the retelling of the story in alternative points of view. Reading the same story by Emma and Jake did become a little tiresome and had the effect of slowing the story down at times, however on the upside there were times hearing the scene in a different voice added to the moment and expanded on what had occurred, though we feel a sporadic alternative POV would have been something we would have enjoyed more.

The essence of the Love by Numbers series is friendship, family and love and on that account E.S. Carter has delivered a rich and beautiful series. We thoroughly enjoyed Jake and Emma’s story and whilst it didn’t allow us the level of emotional impact nor the focus on family we loved so much in Three, Jake and Emma’s story still managed to pull at our heartstrings and allowed us that perfect romantic escape we cherish, making this a series we’d recommend in a heartbeat!

OUT NOW PICK IT UP!!!

This book releases in May, I was given an ARC for an honest review. This book in my opinion is a 4.5* book!! So so good here it goes...

It is very rare that I read new authors; I usually read from books that friends recommend or stick to authors I am familiar with so when E.S. Carter asked me to read an ARC of this book I was nervous. She is a new author I wanted to give an honest critique yet if I disliked it how would I say it? Well I am so glad that I honestly loved this book!! It gives you everything we (or I) as a reader hope a book has. So after explaining that here comes my review.

The book starts off like....
INTERNET!

Jake is a hot one!!Jake is going to be the douche you try to forget but just can't because you will fall head over heels for him and he does not disappoint!!

He will have you fanning yourself throughout the story because that man is sex on a walking stick literally! So hot someone give me a fan! ;)
Cats

In comes Emma the sweet beautiful girl who has had a very hard life up until this point. I have a massive girl crush on her it is rare for me at least that I love the heroine more than the hero but EMMA totally deserves it! She rocks!Emma is a kick ass heroine who fights for herself and her life the only way she knows how. Take the time to take the journey with her.

So the reader thinks we know how this story will play out but you WILL NOT see what is coming. This is not a predictable author the twist and turns the author gives will have you flipping the pages to get to the ending.
OMG

The story has amazing side characters who you will fall instantly for and they are the light to the story. The side characters in Nineteen are hilarious and loving the best of friends a girl can only dream of having. The characters really bring a great element to the story and even though they play a big part into the story the author does not sidetrack from the main characters which is something some tend to do. The author leaves you wanting to know more about them even though you think they are your best pals also!

Emma and Jake's relationship is not an instant love, the author takes her time slowly to build the relationship so that you can get to know them individually and together. You will be rooting for them from the start but no happily ever after comes easy and who says they will have one? Only time will tell! I do guarantee that you will fall in love with both of them together and separate.
Cute Files

Jake and Emma are very relatable and that is what I love most about this story. Both characters are realistic and the author gives you a sense of realism in both of them; something that often lacks in romance novels.

This story is one that will make you feel from lust to tears you will feel it all!!! Guaranteed!! Take a chance on this new author pick up Nineteen and enjoy the emotional rollercoaster it will give you!

IT WILL HAVE ONE HELL OF AN ENDING THATS FOR SURE!!!!!!! The ending does not disappoint and this author will make sure you come back and read her books again!! I just can't wait to see what the author has up her sleeve!!

I can't wait to read another book by E.S. Carter in the future she did not disappoint with this debut!

When reading a new author....
You never know what your going to get. It's always a hit or miss. You hope going into the book that it will all click and flow perfectly. That the story will leave you breathless and stay in your mind well after your done reading it. That you're pleasantly shocked and surprised with how it was all played out for you.
It's a gamble....
It sucks that I have to write this...
Because, I went into his book opened minded and very eager to read what this book was all about.
Right from the beginning.... I knew something wasn't right.
I wish this author would have just went into the story...
She throws a lot of people at you all at once. You really don't know what role they will play later in the book. It was information overload. And it didn't feel natural.
Idk... I feel like Emma should have came in sooner or something.

And.... When the author gave details about Emma... They weren't all that flattering.
The author really didn't paint a pretty picture of Emma. A tomboyish girl that wears boots with no socks and doesn't shave her legs. That was a little heavy but lost weight.
So... when Jake first sees her. She's like some goddess.
That stayed with me while reading this book. Because, I couldn't picture it.

There was a lot of retelling of information. It felt like filler to me. How many times did we really need to hear how well his brother Nate did for himself and how well off he is. I got it the first time it was said by Jake.

I had a really hard time connecting with both MC. I was more than 50% into the book and Both main characters have only been around each other once! That's way to long with no interaction between them.

76% in and still nothing between them. He's fighting his feelings for her and she finally remembered everything that happened to her. And shes not all to happy about what she remembers about Jake. They still have not had a full conversation at all. But he's practically obsessed with her.
And really... She was pretty drunk or really tipsy when they first met. So all this just does not make sense to me.

Their first kiss.... I really wasn't feeling it at all. They are virtually strangers! A conversation should have happened before all that happened. It just didn't make sense as to why Emma would do something like that.

This whole book Jake has been with other women. It's hard to feel a deep connection for him when he's all over the place with other people.

There were lots of time jumping too. 3 months past... Then 6 months past.
I really wasn't feeling that at all.

What kind of sealed the deal for me with this book was the alternate POV's.
It was really hard to read through it.
I basically was rereading the same scene over.
I have a hard time reading this kind of writing style. I found myself skimming a lot of it. I just wished it would pick up right where it left off. I didn't need to reread the whole scene all over again.
And ... I really wasn't feeling the main characters in this book.
I think if there was more interaction between the main characters.
Maybe... I would feel more of a connection for them.
But we don't get that until way at the end. 90%! That's way to late for me.

Then there was the ending... I really didn't care for it and it was just to unrealistic. I don't want to give the ending away...
But... It ends in a cliffhanger!
Which I felt should have been said in the synopsis. Give the readers a choice whether or not... They want to read this book now or wait until the second book comes out.

Personally.... I hate cliffhangers. I like to wait until the whole series is out.... Before I start to read a book.
And.... no where does it say... That this book is going to be part of a series at all.

I really wish I could have liked this book. But there was just to much for me to over look.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I'm always excited and a little nervous to read a release from a debut author.

Nineteen doesn't disappoint.

Jake is a promising actor who takes a day job that he has nothing but disdain for and spends his nights in the self-indulgence of meaningless sex.
Emma is a beautiful young woman who has lived through traumatic events but is still strong enough to make something of her life.
Jake and Emma can't fight the intense bond between them even when life keeps pulling them apart.

Besides loving the storyline, I'm impressed with the flawless writing that is usually seen in a much more established author. E.S. Carter has taken the time to develop her characters so they are more than one dimensional and surrounds them with an intriguing story that isn't rushed. The secondary characters show the importance of how family and friends are essential for getting through any circumstances no matter how tough they can be. This story is about perseverance and finding that love can strengthen the most fragile hearts. This story ends on a jaw-dropping cliffhanger and I plan on following it every step of the way. I highly recommend Nineteen and congratulate author E.S. Carter on a wonderful debut.

A wonderful debut book that I have had the pleasure of reading as an arc.
The story is written in duel POV - I love getting the different perspectives from the characters. You get to know the two characters, and their approach to life. There is some drama, well written and realistic. I really liked the way the characters were portrayed following on from this. The story unfolds well, at a good pace, all the time adding depth and reality to the characters.
You are left with a cliff hanger, and I can't wait to see where things go in the next book.

I don't have the opportunity to many new authors, I am already so overwhelmed with the ones I love. However, when I was contacted by the author to give this book a try, I decided to take the plunge. I was hooked from the first few chapters and fell hopelessly in love with this story. Ms. Carter definitely has a new fan.

The author is from the UK, and I was drawn immediately to the fun lingo and vocabulary. It definitely does not deter the storyline in any way, only enhances it. The heroine, Emma, was simply amazing. I found her possessing many of my own traits, including the love of books and music. She has an alluring personality but like most us, has insecurities. I found her vulnerability her best quality.

Jake, oh Jake. Honestly, I disliked him for a large portion of this book. He could be such a jerk. However, somewhere in the midst of the story, my heart began to soften just a little, and I found myself liking him more and more. He's the bad boy you want to save, or want Emma to save.

In addition to the strong main characters and storyline, there is an amazing supporting cast. I fell hopelessly in love with Liam. There is so much we have yet to learn about him, and I am so hopeful we see more of his in additional books. Emma's father is another pivotal character. Their relationship was touching and honest.

I am the Queen of Cliffhangers and trust me, this one is a brutal one. I wasn't sure if I wanted to throw my kindle or hug Ms. Carter. I won't spoil it other than to say; it is brilliant!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book to any NA fan. The book is beautiful, and the storyline flows so well. There are just enough twists to keep you guessing, but not feeling frustrated. It is definitely not conventional. I am counting down the weeks until the next installment.

The premise was everything I love in a story, but this one did not work for me.

The hero's POV was too wordy. The verbiage awkward. Jake was supposed to be this man whore, but everything about him I was "told" instead of allowing me to come up with my own conclusions. Jake was telling me that he was a man whore and that his brother is too. His attitude and everything felt forced on me. Then the whole thing with Vanessa, it felt awkward and Vanessa is not even the heroine. Emma is the heroine. Then there is Jake mentioning how he thinks his sister -in-law is "still so attractive". (loc page 7) Everyone this hero came across he found attractive. The author was probably just trying to give the reader an idea about Jake's personality, but none of the information had any depth.

This may work for you, but it did not work for me. I am not telling you not to read it. This is just my opinion and the way I viewed the story and the characters. Not everyone likes the same characters or writing style.

Niente panico.

Packed with emotional substance, well-written banter, description, and humor, this debut novel was a pleasure to read, and I believe E.S. Carter has a promising future as a romance novelist.

The hero (Jake) is flawed which is something I enjoy in a romance novel. His immense dislike of his job is something a lot of people can relate to. He acts out by having a string of meaningless sex, which upon introduction to Jake, the reader summarizes he’s a jerk, but still, an endearing jerk. As the story progresses his character arc moves in a direction where you can see the wrinkles in his behavior and personality start to iron out at a good pace, and he becomes a likable hero, and one you will begin to root for.

The heroine (Emma) is relatable to the young woman we used to be and/or today’s young adults, with all the emotions that run the gamut of a young woman who has overcome challenges with her strength, sensibility and forging ahead to make the most out of her life. She's sweet, smart and she will win your heart from the onset.

I enjoyed both points of view, as it allows the reader to understand the goals, motivation and conflicts of each character; they’re well developed as are the secondary characters, and will draw you in as the story unfolds at a good pace.

This is a story about two people who have traveled different paths in their lives, handled the circumstances in their lives differently, and are opposites in a lot of ways, but will have you invested to find out if they connect and how it will impact each of them.

Their relationship is a slow burn, which is something I enjoy in a romance novel, as it gives you the opportunity to really get to know them as individuals first, and their journey.

I look forward to her second offering so that I can find out what is in store for Jake and Emma.

‘Nineteen blew my mind’

I received an ARC for my honest review.

Nineteen is easily the best book for 2015 for me! It’s some of the best writing I’ve ever read.
The whole story felt so real and sucked me in immediately. I felt like I was a part of Jake and Emma’s lives. It was all playing off in front of me like a movie.
Emma – what I loved most about her character was that she was down to earth. She didn’t let the blows life was taking at her drag her down, but instead, grew from it.
Jake – what I loved most about his character was that although he felt tormented over Emma and what happened, he didn’t throw himself at her feet.
Their love is epic, and it grew over a long period of time – No insta-love!!! Sure there was attraction, but no declarations of insta-love.
I have soooo many favorite parts! I love that in the beginning they keep missing each other just. I love how descriptive everything was. I love the other characters and the part each of them played in Jake and Emma’s story. I love Emma’s dad and the relationship she has with him.

I hate the mother)

Now for the stats:
NO HEA!!!
ENDS ON A CLIFFHANGER!!!
Romance – 5
Character Building – 5
Hotness level – 5
Bad boy level for Jake – 5 (off the charts)
Tearjerker – 5 (do not attempt to read without a box of tissues)
Suspense – 5 (OMG!!! ES Carter ripped my heart out and fed it to the sharks!)

Be warned – it ends on a HUGE cliffhanger so don’t come and say no one told you. I CANNOT wait for Twenty One.

Thank you ES for letting me share in your world <3

I was privileged to have had the opportunity to read an ARC of this incredible debut by a new author.

This was a solid 4.5 star read for me......and holy moly, the ending .......WOW !

Honestly, it took me a little while to warm up to the hero but he quickly redeemed himself and I just wanted more and more from him. I loved the interaction between Jake and his brothers and his best friend "H".
I also loved that it's not a insta - love type of relationship between Jake and Emma. It's slow and sometimes a frustrating build. Frustrating because I wanted more for them both and their chemistry is off the charts!! The relationship is difficult but unique and beautiful and I just wanted the best for both of them.

I CANNOT WAIT for the next book in this series, and I'm really excited to read more by this author

I loved this book!
Told in alternating and overlapping POV, it is the story of Jake an aspiring actor and complete man-whore and Emma who is determined to be strong and must overcome some immense tragedies in her young life.
I loved all of the British slang throughout. An emotional story but told with touches of humor.
The character development was amazing and I grew to care about want to know more about all of my new friends.
I was immediately grabbed by this story and couldn't put it down. Lots of surprising twists and turns in the book, but none as surprising as the wild ending! Oh My! I need to start book 2 immediately!

Damn! Now I'm going to have to cry after reading this one. Emma and Jake. She's traumatized. He's her knight-in-shining-armor. But, he's a manwhore and she's the sweetest most caring person. What happens when they finally come together, and then Jake's missing? Can't wait to start book 2!

Salve lettrici,
A presto e buona lettura!

"Who can ever feel unloved or lonely when there's a whole world of undiscovered journeys to take, hidden in the pages of a book or in the chords of a song?"

How true are those words? Yes for me! Emma and Jake are two of the most unlikely characters to cross paths. Jake is a bad boy rising star. Emma is just trying to find out if she's able to become the woman that she needs to be. So, here I stop. Why? Because you just need to read the story. If you follow my reviews and like what I like, trust me, this is well worth the reading time. But, this is one of those stories that you need to experience for yourself. Because...

She ends it in a BIG ol' cliffhanger.

But never fear. ES Carter has Twenty One all ready for you to pick up where you leave off here. This was a first time read for me of this author. The recommendation came from a reading group. I was definitely NOT disappointed. It hit all the right notes. Moved at an engrossing pace. I want more of Emma and Jake. So off to Twenty One.

A wonderful debut novel!
I was hooked from page one and found it a real page turner. I love how this story unfolds, despite the fact that Jake is a bit of a tart. I find it a worry that he reminded me of my husband when I first met him!!! But I love the lad side to him. He is a typical bloke out with his mates.
I also love Emma. Again, a typical young girl, out to have fun with her mates, but she is a gentle character.
It's a twisty turn of emotions and although it didn't physically have me crying, I still felt a bit of a lump in my throat at times.
Looking forward to reading the next one.

This is a wonderful debut novel. The author did a good job writing this story with double POV so the reader is not left hanging to know what both the characters are thinking.
I really enjoyed this book and appreciated all the characters,I hope every single one of them will have their own story.
Can't wait to read the sequel to keep falling in love with this bad boy Hero.

This is written by an author from the UK and it is always fun to read the phrases and words that are so different then here in the US. This doesn't take away from the storyline in the least, I enjoyed the "lingo". (4.5 stars)

Nineteen is a number Jake is familiar with. Its the number of times he has been rejected in acting auditions. He has 4 successful brothers and wonders if he is just chasing a dream and needs to fix his sights on something more promising. He works part time at an elite department store, that he got from the help of his supporting parents, but he copes with his indecisions and rejections by passing the time with many many women.

Emma is spending her last few days being Nineteen. Since she is fixing to turn 20 she feels like she needs to start taking her life more seriously. She has had several part time jobs but wants to get a full time job since she is putting off college for a year. She goes on an interview for the same department store Jake works at. She feels like the interview went well and since she is counting down the minutes till she turns 20, her best friend, Liv, convinces her to go out to a new hot club to celebrate. This club is owned by one of Jakes brothers and this night, Jake is there seeking his next conquest.

Jake and Emma have instant attraction! Why Jake gets so enthralled by Emma is because she acts as if she could care less that this hot godly man is interested in her. Jake is out for a conquest but he is getting more than he bargained for. Can Jake and Emma make a go at it or is the timing off for these two? Will Jake ever get a part or will he give up on his auditions all together?

I loved the dual POV's in this story. You were able to see them grow, their feelings and their self discovery they both are making. I really enjoyed the secondary characters as well. Liv and Liam were very supportive and amazing. I'll admit, I was not a big fan of Jake for a lot of this story but I finally found myself warming up to him towards the end.
This does end in a cliffhanger but the ending was perfect for this story and Im looking forward to reading the next one in the series.

An Amazing Debut!
I can't say enough about how much I love this book! It just captured me and drew me in and held me there, turning page after page until the very end. The author is British and so is the lingo in the book but it wasn't distracting or detracting in any way, I found that it was just endearing. And the characters! Where do I start, they are so well written, and made real, that you can't help but love them and find yourself feeling for them, and not just the main characters Emma and Jake. Emma is a sweet, beautiful inside and out, but strong, a kick-ass heroine! Jake, well Jake is a hot, sexy, snarky and kind of a Jerk, but you can't help yourself, you will find yourself coming to love him as I did. The supporting characters were very interesting too and I hope to get a chance to read more about them, possibly in future books. Emma and Jake's story is told from a dual point of view which I absolutely loved. It really gives you a look into each character, one you wouldn't get from a single point of view or if told in third person. This isn't the kind of love story where the two meet and it's instantly "we're in love" it's meant to be, destiny and all of that, the author takes her time constructing the relationship. But will they get a happily ever after? The ending nearly killed me though! Argh! A cliffhanger! I will be over here champing at the bit until the next in the series comes out. I would definitely recommend this book, it is a wonderful read. I was given a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
