Photojournalist David R. Frazier was drafted into the Army and sent to Vietnam, and this photo-memoir recalls those days alongside his more recent returns to the country, richly illustrated with his pictures.
A fine take on Vietnam from the perspective of a soldier who went there in the 60s, in wartime, and then returned three decades later as a tourist and photographer (and a bunch of his photos are included). I'm the publisher, and pleased to help get this excellent memoir to press.
A really entertaining, well written account of one man's journey as a soldier in the Vietnam war. This guy has a lot of stories! A good view of the inner workings of the military during the war.
