Until recently, I figured I was a pretty average twink whose biggest problems were being a terrible barista and having a cheater jerk for an ex.
Enter hulky, sexy, oh-so-scruffy Daddy.
He's quirky and calls me Twink like that's my name.
That should have been a clue something was off, but I guess my friends are right about my broken picker because turns out, he's not even human. He's a parasitic, shapeshifting, tentacled alien from another planet.
If that's not bad enough, he's got baggage. Out-of-this-world, alien baggage.
He crash-landed on Earth after escaping his ex, Sheila, a Vorcon—whatever that is—who used him for breeding drones.
This should be more than enough drama to keep me away, but despite a brief alien abduction, he's actually really thoughtful, kind...and even the whole tentacle thing seems pretty hot.
But my new sexy extraterrestrial Daddy has a mission to get back to, and unfortunately for both of us, Sheila isn't exactly out of the picture...

Monster Rom-com Alien Shapeshifter Tentacles Knotting Bonding (similar to imprinting) Daddy/twink (Daddy/boy but boy is called "Twink") Monster Ex-Girlfriend
Devon McCormack grew up in the Georgia suburbs with his two younger brothers and an older sister. At a very young age, he spun tales the old fashioned way, lying to anyone and everyone he encountered. He claimed he was an orphan. He claimed to be a king from another planet. He claimed to have supernatural powers. He has since harnessed this penchant for tall tales by crafting worlds and characters that allow him to live out whatever fantasy he chooses. Devon is an out and proud queer man living in Atlanta, Georgia.
Devon's body of work ranges from erotica to young adult, so readers should check the synopses of his books before purchasing so that they know what they're getting into.
Seriously, an alien crash lands on Earth and the very first place he accidentally ends up walking into is a gay bar. He is a shape shifter and makes himself look human. Well the look he chooses gives off Daddy vibes. In this bar Daddy meets some guys trying to hit on him which he doesn't understand. These two guys mention some terms and it is determined these are their names. Enter Twink and Powerbottom.
This was such an interesting take on seeing some of the ridiculous things we as humans do. Daddy doesn't know anything and the thing that helps him learn languages isn't working quite right so he has to kind of wing it. Thankfully, Twink is quick to offer his help.
I absolutely loved the banter in this story. It was ridiculous and hysterical.
I loved how Twink went about showing Daddy around and kind of teaching him about our world. The relationship that was built between these two was so beautiful to watch. They may not have a lot in common but their connection is super evident.
Twink is happy to get destroyed by Daddy's tentacles as he slowly discovers his true form. Their spicy scenes add to their connection and are not just there because they can be.
This was so fun and I hope we get a book with Powerbottom next.
Ok, you know what? Yes. Absolutely yessss. I didn't expect to enjoy this book as much as I did.
This is the perfect summer read. It is also the perfect book if you are looking for a fun read, or if you're in a reading slump.
Daddy and Twink were hilarious together. Seeing them try to navigate their differences in the beginning was so much fun. It was kind of like a combination between an intergalactic cultural difference and a language barrier, and yeah, it was fun to read that.
I know a lot of people will read this book for the jokes, for the sexy times, and this is perfectly fine, but I have to take a second and appreciate how Devon McCormack added those serious topics we all struggle with right now in this book. Yes, yes, it is all fun and games, but the beginning of this book is a perfect representation of how the world is right now, and I swear this is the main reason I love reading.
I always say that regardless of the book you read you can still find depth and a lot of cool new things to either learn or just see through someone else's eyes, and the first part of this book was just that.
Charlie's friends are awesome and I hope Devon will give us books for both of them. Especially after that encounter between Krypton and Roger.
So, yeah, as I was saying, read this one if you're looking for a fun read.
Also, the audiobook is super good. Tim Paige did an awesome job with this one.
3.5 ⭐️ This RomCom was just pure smutty joy. The premise is an alien crash lands on Earth and tries to blend in with humans but his first encounter is at a gay bar where the men affectionately call him Daddy, therefore his name is Daddy. He also meets Charlie who is referred to as Twink due to a hilarious miscommunication.
- tentacles - language barrier - protective mmc
The characters were so loveable and the setting was great. I felt like the plot had a few lulls and I lost some of the momentum at times but still really enjoyed the whole thing.
Thank-you to TAA for providing me an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Okay, this book was an absolute delight! I don’t think I’ve laughed this much while reading in a very long time, and the combination of Daddy and Twink was just ridiculously entertaining from beginning to end.
Daddy is an alien who ends up stranded on Earth while traveling through the universe on his mission. He’s also a shapeshifter, and his natural form comes complete with tentacles. Once he sees humans, he decides that taking on a more human-looking appearance is probably the sensible thing to do. Then someone calls him “Daddy,” and because he takes basically everything literally, he decides that must be his name.
And honestly? Of course it is. 😂
Daddy learning how humans communicate was one of my favorite things about this book. His understanding of language is extremely literal, which becomes particularly hilarious when he encounters sarcasm. Watching him try to navigate all the strange and ridiculous things humans say without actually meaning them had me laughing out loud more than once.
Twink, whose actual name is Charlie, somehow manages to deal with all of this with an impressive amount of patience. He takes Daddy under his wing and starts introducing him to Earth, human behavior, relationships, and all the other things an alien apparently needs to know when trying to understand our bizarre little planet.
Charlie is adorable, and I loved the way he and Daddy gradually figured each other out. Their relationship develops with so much warmth and natural affection. There’s patience between them, genuine communication, plenty of attraction, and a surprisingly healthy approach to learning how to be together.
Honestly, an alien and a human somehow gave me better dating advice than half the romances I’ve read. 😂
The humor is definitely the star of the show, but I really appreciated that there was more underneath it. Through Daddy’s eyes, everyday human behavior suddenly looks completely ridiculous—and let’s be honest, he has a point. Devon uses that outsider perspective to poke fun at some of humanity’s stranger habits while also quietly highlighting the ways we communicate, connect, misunderstand each other, and build relationships.
And it never felt mean-spirited. It was more like looking at ourselves from the outside and realizing just how weird we are.
The pacing was another huge win for me. This book is quick, lively, and never felt like it was dragging. I flew through it in only a few hours because there was always something happening, whether it was Daddy misunderstanding something, another unexpected development, or another moment between him and Charlie that made me smile.
The supporting cast was also a lot of fun. Eric and Powerbottom had some scenes that absolutely cracked me up, and now I’m particularly interested in seeing more of Kryton and Powerbottom. I would happily return to this world for another story featuring them.
Daddy and Twink were definitely my favorite part, though. There’s something so charming about watching Daddy discover Earth through Charlie while Charlie slowly realizes just how much personality this strange alien has. Their dynamic is funny, sweet, affectionate, and full of chemistry.
And yes, there’s heat too, but it never overwhelms the actual relationship. The emotional connection and genuine fondness between them are what made the romance work for me.
I also loved the way the book manages to be both completely ridiculous and surprisingly heartfelt. One minute I was laughing at Daddy taking something absurdly literally, and the next I was appreciating how thoughtfully the story handled trust, connection, and figuring out what makes a relationship work.
This was exactly the kind of book I needed after reading too many heavy and angsty stories. It was fun, silly, sweet, spicy, and wonderfully different, and I finished it with a ridiculous grin on my face.
I absolutely adored Daddy and Twink, and I really hope Devon decides to give us more stories from this world because I would happily jump right back into it.
And if Kryton and Powerbottom happen to be involved next time?
Recensione mini: sapevo che avrei adorato questo libro! Mamma mia é stato stupendo e me lo sono divorato dalla prima pagina all'ultima! 😍
Recensione: Nuovo giorno, nuovo ARC! Grazie mille a Devon McCormack e the author agency.
ENGLISH REVIEW: New Day, New Arc! I couldn't wait for this new book because I never read about monsters and tentacles romances! This book is very cute and sweet, I really loved Charlie and Daddy, he's so cute. Charlie's friends too Roger and Eric too were cute and I ship them. Or I ship them with Kryton?? 👀 I didn't like Sheila at all! Amazing book! ❤️❤️❤️
I've been seeing books by this author for absolutely ages now, yet still hadn't dipped my toe in - but honestly, how could anyone resist a book with this title and just the cutest damn front cover image ever!!?
I was hooked before I ever opened the pages.
Now, I don't read tons of books in this genre, but I have definitely tried it out before, so really wasn't averse to the whole monster/human romance trope at all.
This was certainly a brilliant start to my journey with this author and this whole read was just the most fun I've had!
I loved the premise and the way we're forced to take a good look at just how strange humans are in a way that was hilarious, yet thought-provoking too!
When a shapeshifting tentacled alien crash lands on earth mid-mission, he is forced to spend time here and his first encounter with humans leads to a series of hilarious and heartwarming events.
The way we see humans through Space Daddy's eyes had me laughing so much. Obviously, he takes everything seriously, so there are so many funny moments as he's learning the language and nuances.
His first encounter just happens to be a bar where he meets Charlie / Twink who takes him under his wing and helps him learn all he needs to - but along the way, a bond forms between the pair which was so great to watch as it develops through the story.
The writing was brilliant and along with it's total ridiculousness, there was so much that had me thinking about the way we form connections and relationships and the way we communicate too.
This was a crazy ride, but I loved every second and can see that I'll be adding many more reads from this author to my future tbr's
This book was absolutely ridiculous... and I mean that in the best possible way.
Space Daddy and a Boy Called Twink was such a fun, hilarious read that had me laughing from beginning to end. Daddy and Charlie (aka Twink) were such an unexpected pairing, but somehow they worked perfectly together.
Daddy's complete lack of understanding of human sayings and slang made for some of the funniest moments in the book. The fact that someone called him "Daddy" and he just accepted that as his name had me cracking up, and every time Charlie had to explain another human concept to him I was giggling all over again.
Despite all the chaos and comedy, there was actually a really sweet romance underneath it all. Daddy was so protective, patient, and caring with Charlie, and I loved watching them slowly learn about each other. Their relationship felt surprisingly wholesome considering how completely unhinged the premise was.
For such a short book, it packed in a lot. There was humour, action, a surprisingly solid backstory, great banter, and enough heart to make me genuinely invested in these two. The pacing never dragged, and I flew through it in one sitting.
If you're looking for something serious, this probably isn't it. But if you want an over-the-top alien romcom that doesn't take itself too seriously and will have you laughing the whole way through, I'd definitely recommend giving this one a go.
The MINUTE I saw the title of this book I knew I needed it in my life, and then to see that it was Devon writing it? Where do I sign my soul away? On the dotted line? ✔️ And look at that amazing cover 😘 I am in love!
This was the breath of fresh air I needed in my life. It was hilarious, mysterious, intriguing and seriously spicy 🥵. It was everything I thought it would be and so so so much more 😍.
Daddy & Twink are so adorably cute together that I'm as obsessed with them as they are with one another 👀. I loved how instant their connection was, but also how it slowly grew to something so much more then just attraction but a honest deep bond between the two as they both navigated their predicament together 🫶.
Twink is such a doll, who has unfortunately been let down by boyfriends in the past but thankfully the hunky alien monster is just what he needed. Daddy is also so funny! He sees the beauty that is Twink and their relationship and treats it with the care it deserved, even as he traversed a new world and a new human body 🫣 and let me tell you! Some of the most hilarious thoughts come out of Daddy's mind when he's trying to figure out human language and all the intricacies of our species 😂. It's simply the best!
Throw in some tentacles, some knotting, an evil monster Ex-Girlfriend set on revenge and you've got an action packed, spicy yet sweet romance that will keep you at the edge of your set 🥹. I sincerely hope that Devon writes more in this universe because I am definitely invested in not only these MC's but some amazing side characters as well! But if not, I enjoyed every SECOND and word of this book to the fullest 🥵👀😈.
Daddy is an alien shapeshifter that crash lands on Earth after his crazy ex-girlfriend sabotages his spaceship. This book had me laughing at daddy’s literalness and I enjoyed seeing him learn the language & how patiently Charlie explained things about earth to him. before his translation device works and really thinks Charlie’s name is Twink for a bit (and that Charlie is actually his nickname).
Them getting to know each other was so cute, and they did a lot of bonding over their crappy exes.We got some steamy alien tentacle sex which was 🥵🔥I liked how Charlie was so accepting of Daddy’s true form, that moment of him seeing him for the first time was super sweet.
If there is a book 2 (which I’m thinking there may be, hi Kryton) I will absolutely be reading!
Some things to expect: 👽monster rom-com (aliens obvi) 💖tentacles 👽bonding 💖daddy/twink (boy)
My fav parts: “You’re not scared,” he observed. “No,” I said, realizing that not only wasn’t I scared, but I was drawn to this form too. He was still beautiful to me.
“I want to be your mate. I want to be your one and only. Just you and me, so I can give you pleasure beyond your wildest imaginings. I want to share my everything with you. My very soul.”
“All these stars I have traveled, all these worlds I’ve traversed, bodies I’ve inhabited, every experience feels like it has led me to this moment with you.”
Thank you for the advanced copy-this is my honest review!
What to say besides I did not expect anything that happened in this book. It was my first Devon McCormack story and man was I pleasantly surprised!! This book immediately starts off humorous and hilarious when our two MMCs meet for the first time. Twink and Daddy… I knew I was in the right place. 🤭 Even just that moment had me giggling and looking forward to their next interaction and I was not going to be let down. I think this was one of the first books I read which had me laughing so often at the miscommunication, the misunderstandings and the language barrier. Daddy and Twink were so adorable together with the innuendos and flirting! I mean who wouldn’t want a big steady protector or a sweet witty cutie? Or how about our powerbottom? 😮💨 Did I mention tentacles yet?!?!
As much as I loved those funny encounters, the book also has deep moments which is something I truly appreciate in my readings; the mix between profound and lighter scenes. Even if it‘s an alien romance, there is mentions of grief, wanting real connection, betrayal, cheating and belonging. Something we can all relate to.
I loved the characters and how their relation evolved. My heart felt warm and I ended this story feeling really content.🥹
This will NOT be my last read from this author and I can wholeheartedly recommend SPACE DADDY AND A BOY CALLED TWINK!!
Thank you so much Devon McCormack and The Author Agency for this wonderful ARC! 💕
Fantastic-al!! Oh my goodness, the adorableness of Daddy and Twink were too much fun and I loved the entire book!
Daddy is an alien who crash lands on earth on his mission around the universe. Daddy is a shapeshifter, who in his own form has tentacles, but once he sees what humans look like, shifts to what he assumes is a pleasing form and hears someone call out "Daddy", so he assumes the name.
The wit and sarcasm of this book was right up my alley because let's face it, an alien who has to learn our language, that is chuck full of sarcasm...that is an instant YES!! And Daddy did not disappoint. 😂The literalness of Daddy had me rolling. I was not expecting most of the comments, which is probably why I laughed out loud way too hard, but it's just too funny.
Twink, or Charlie which is his real name, handles him so well and with a straight face...the only thing straight about him. 😏 He's adorable, and it’s so cute how he takes Daddy under his wing and teaches him about earth.
I loved Daddy and Twink and this book is hilarious. It makes fun of the best things about earth and even our not so best things. Plus, it's about relationships, building them, what works, just all the things since Daddy is new to human interactions. It's sweet and funny with all the steam and it was a total win. I hope there is more from this world because I would totally return for more.
This was such an entertaining read, I honestly haven't laughed this much while reading in quite a while 😄
Important thing is that he length felt just right. There wasn't a single moment that dragged, and I flew through it in just a few hours 😻 It's fast-paced, with several unexpected little twists, keeping me entertained from beginning to end 🤍
Everything between Daddy and Twink developed so naturally, with so much affection, patience, and passion ❤🔥 Funny to say that about an alien and a human, but they should be the rulebook for healthy dating 😄 The side characters were just as much fun. Eric and Powerbottom really cracked me up, and now I'm really hoping we get more of Kryton and Powerbottom in future books 🤭
What surprised me most, though, was the contrast between the overall humor and the subtle way Devon explored humanity through an alien perspective. Looking at ordinary human interactions through unfamiliar eyes quietly highlighted all our flaws, but somehow without ever feeling cynical 🤍
I'd definitely recommend this as the perfect palate cleanser after all the angsty reads. It'll give your heart a little break while leaving you with a huge smile 💗 Thank you for the ARC! All thoughts and opinions are my own❣️
Y’all…I knew with a title like Space Daddy and a Boy Called Twink, we were in for a fun book, but even the author’s note had me giggling.
Beyond the humor is a sweet story of an alien escaping a horrible ex who meets an adorable human who just broke up with a horrible ex, who falls in love and saves the day.
What stood out to me is how sweet they are to each other. Daddy (the alien whose name in his own language can decimate human ears) is head over heels from the moment he meets Twink (real name Charlie), and despite some misunderstandings and early miscommunications, wants to make him happy. Charlie finds Daddy’s quirks, and even the accidental kidnapping, endearing, as he finally feels safe with a potential partner.
While Space Daddy and a Boy Called Twink is a fun, spicy romp, I also loved the underlying commentary, like Daddy panicking that humans are enthralled by our phones, held captive to an AI that has taken control of everyone through our devices, and being so worried about Twink. Or the sweet but poignant conversation about dating.
--- I received an advance copy of this book at no charge. This is my honest, voluntary review.
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting with this book but man, this was such a fun time. I love me a good monster romance but add in the right amount of plot and spice and I’m all in!
The first meet had me laughing because when he thought Charlie and Roger’s actual names were Twink and Power Bottom. That whole scene had me giggling. Although, they didn’t mind those names later.
The spice in this book was so good and to be honest, monster spice scenes are always fun because there is always something interesting involved. Hello tentacles!
When Daddy took Twink in the alley to show him his spaceship, he thought he was going to murder him or even kidnap him. The whole “Chelsea” parts had me laughing so hard! Daddy didn’t trust technology whatsoever.
Okay, Sheila is absolutely crazy but what monster is not?! And don’t get me started on Twink’s ex but when Daddy gave him a new one, I was so here for it!
I love the cuddle sessions. Too cute. If you’re looking for sweetness, a romcom and just a good time, this book is so for you!
I need the next book because Roger and Krystin’s story because that’s going to be a grand time!
I received a copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Space Daddy and a Boy Called Twink is a ridiculous and fun story about an alien Daddy finding love with Twink (Charlie) after crash landing on earth. It is a fairly quick read with lots of tentacles and spice.
I rated it 3.75 overall because the chapters from Daddy's POV are a little hard to follow. Part of that is because they are written from the perspective of someone who is learning a language and culture completely foreign to it. Which I get why writing that way makes sense. It just made the story a little hard to follow at times. The plot moves pretty quickly though so its not anything to get too hung up over. Once Daddy is more comfortable with the language it gets better.
The spice is real spicy, especially when the tentacles get involved. If you're good with Daddy/Boy stories, you'll like this one. The characters lay into that during spicy times.
I hope some of the side characters get their own story. I think two of them may...I'm looking at you Roger and Kryton....
If you're looking for a fun, quick read, that doesn't take itself seriously, this one is for you!
WHAT TO EXPECT: 🛸Monster Rom-Com 👽Alien Shapeshifter x Human 🛸Tentacles 👽Knotting 🛸Bonding (similar to imprinting) 👽Daddy/twink (Daddy/boy but boy is called “Twink”) 🛸Monster Ex-Girlfriend
Daddy and Twink make an interesting duo in this sci-fi rom-com. The story started off pretty strong and there were quite a few laugh-out-loud moments, but I also think there were a few missed comedic opportunities.
This story was definitely an instalust romance, but lacked a deeper emotional relationship. Most of what Daddy and Twink shared was based on physical connection and instead of delving into emotional intimacy the story leaned on the sci-fi imprinting-ish bonding to grow their love. I’m all for a good monster romance, but having tentacles, knotting, AND imprinting felt like too much.
Giving credit where credit is due, the world building was interesting and different. I’m not sure if I’d pick up the next book if this turns into a series because instalust is not really a favorite trope of mine, but I’d consider it just to find out more about this fantasy universe.
**I received an ARC and this is my honest review.**
This story was definitely entertaining once I got into it; which took a little bit since Space Daddy and his alien take on everything was so different. However, his literal takes on everything, and Charlie being so patient with him was fantastic. The author did a great job making Daddy and Charlie's story into a fun rom-com.
Charlie was a sweetheart whose ex was a jerk through and through. Daddy literally was escaping his ex and crashed on Earth. I loved how protective and careful Daddy was of Charlie (aka Twink) throughout the story. While it seems that Charlie has no survival instincts when it comes to picking men, in the end Daddy was just what he needed. I liked that Charlie was just as protective of Daddy and that they survived the threat that found them. I was especially glad that they were able to stay together in the end.
If you like the idea of an alien shapeshifter with tentacles story wrapped up in rom-com, please give this a try.
*Copy provided to me by the author for my reading pleasure. A review wasn't a requirement.*
This was such a fun read! I haven't read a ton of alien romances but this one easily lands in my top 3.
Daddy's ship crash lands on Earth as he's running from his toxic ex, and within hours of arriving he meets Twink (not his real name, don't worry, it's explained lol). While Daddy's learning Earth's language he overhears an introduction that goes hilariously wrong and just... starts calling everyone by the wrong names. It's such a funny start to their story.
The pull between Daddy and Twink is instant, and watching their feelings deepen was so sweet. But there's this ache running underneath it all because Daddy knows he has to go back to his planet, so they hold themselves back from getting too intimate. Of course that can't last forever, especially once Daddy's ex shows up looking for him and things get real.
This was such a sweet, fun love story about two people who probably shouldn't work but somehow do. If you like alien romance with humor and heart, pick this one up.
Characters: 5/5 ⭐️ The Writing: 4/5 ⭐️ The Story: 5/5 ⭐️ Overall: 5/5 ⭐️ Spice 4/5 🌶️
I loved the journey of discovery between the two MC’s—how they find the intensity of the feelings between them growing to a depth neither expected. The banter between the characters—especially with the friend group—was hilarious. The development of MC’s chemistry and the intimacy between them has all of the usual monster/alien components—bonding, knotting, tentacles—and it works into the story in a way that feels natural and sweet. I felt totally invested in their relationship arc and in the bond between them.
Tropes: ❤️ MM Romance 🧡 Monster Rom-com 💛 Alien Shapeshifter 💚 Tentacles 💙 Knotting 💜 Bonding (similar to imprinting) ❤️ Daddy/twink (Daddy/boy but boy is called "Twink") 🧡 Monster Ex-Girlfriend 💛 Plenty of Spice
Please note, I did receive this advanced copy ahead of publication; I am writing this honest review voluntarily and appreciate the opportunity provided by the author to review this book.
This is a fun alien/human romance, something different from the author. It did take me a little bit to get into the story but I enjoyed the characters, our alien who crashes on Earth aka Daddy, and the human who draws his attention aka Charlie aka Twink. There is a good amount of heat and comedy here, especially as Daddy struggles to deal with communication before his translation device is fixed, with Twink just thinking he is drunk. Bless Daddy, his heart is definitely in the right place when it comes to Twink's safety. His confusion is easily understandable when it comes to just how reliant humans are on technology. I enjoyed the similar things that they like, mainly cuddles, as they get to know each other better, and it turns out they have quite similar likes in the bedroom too. What may put a spanner in the works is the reason Daddy crash landed on earth, and just how far that thing is willing to go to get what it wants... A recommended alien romance, with some tentacle fun and a HEA. I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.
This book was absolute chaos. In the very best way! When an MM romance crosses paths with the funniest episode of My Parents Are Aliens, I wouldn't expect anything less. I was literally lying in bed, with my hand over my mouth trying my best not to laugh out loud and wake my husband up because the humour in this book was fantastic. Chaotic, random, a book my monster-loving brain appreciated so freakin' much! Daddy was an absolute delight to read, Twink, or Charlie, was also a fantastic character (but I love sarcastic humour so much!) Anyway, I would highly recommend if you love sci-fi romances, with a twink whose attitude is being than the state of Texas but also a heart that is even bigger and a Furker, who has a crazy monster ex and is continuously confused by the English language. An absolute pleasure reading this book, so much fun and an easy read with a little tension. So, thank you for trusting me to read your book early!
This book was insane and SO much fun. It was a toss up being ridiculous and campy, and genuinely wondering what on earth is going on. I'm a huge fan of monster romance, and the language barrier setup with this one had me absolutely delighted and cackling at the absurdity, especially as things rapidly came to light for Twink about why Daddy was so damn weird.
The dry sarcasm, ridiculous witty moments, and ridiculous banter had me burning through this one in a couple hours, and I can't wait for a book two with the setup laid out between Powerbottom and Kryton.
All in all, this was ridiculous, fun, and a very light and silly monster romance read with some spice sprinkled in.

I was sent a complimentary advanced reader copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Thank you to The Author Agency for sending this my way!
It was hilarious. Daddy and Twink had me absolutely cracking up.
Yes that is pretty much how they are ALWAYS referred as throughout the book, but it worked. The absurdity had me secretly wishing that Furker's were real and that I could find an alien to take care of me the way Daddy did for Twink.
Powerbottom aka Roger, which I might add, I think Powerbottom is a much better name for him, was a true bestie.
I really hope there is more coming in this series, I would eat it up.

I am an ARC reader for this and when I first saw the title and the ARC signups on the Author Agency’s Instagram, I instantly signed up. It was a such a good read, and it was my first monster romance and my first mlm romance written by a man and I was excited. It is an alien shapeshifter daddy x human barista twink romantic comedy and it was a fun read. There are lots of exes, a Chihuahua, and knotting, mating, and bonding elements. It was a short and spicy book that I would definitely recommend. The soulmate level chemistry between Daddy and Charlie A.K.A Twink was palpable! I hope that we get a Roger A.K.A. Powerbottom and Kryton next. I will definitely check out Devon McCormack’s other mlm romances! Thank you to Devon McCormack and the Author Agency for the ARC. Peace and love and until next time.

Super cute story! I laughed out loud several times. One of the biggest sources of that laughter was the language barrier 😂. It was really sweet as well 🥰. The characters, Daddy and Twink, and all of the side characters, were amazing. The story was interesting and had my attention throughout the whole book.
It was 🔥🔥🔥- tentacles, a knot, bonding, a very attentive Daddy, and a deliciously responsive Twink. The bonus scene 🫠🫠🫠. Holy WOW! Breeding done PERFECTLY.
Im hoping for another book, with Kryton and Powerbottom aka Roger 🥰.
I received an ARC from the author. This review was written 100% voluntarily and 100% honestly. These opinions are my own.

Daddy and Twink are adorable and entertaining, with their banter and language barrier, as they navigate their connection while avoiding Daddy’s monster ex-girlfriend. Tim Paige’s narration of the characters and story was great at giving the story life. Vibe with Daddy and Twink if you enjoy… 👽 MM 🩷 Sci•Fi 👽 Alien | Human 🩷 Size Difference 👽 Rom•Com 🩷 Daddy | Twink Space Daddy and a Boy Called Twink has a hot spice level and earned 4 🍁 from me!
Anything that Devon writes, I will always read. I was uncertain about how I would feel regarding this Monster/Alien Romance since there’s only one author whose Monster Romance I truly adore. However, this book pleasantly surprised me with how much I enjoyed it. Initially, I felt a bit unsure and confused by the first chapter, but as I continued reading, I became increasingly captivated and almost addicted. I really hope this will turn into a series! Not only do I crave more from this book, but I also want to learn more about the other characters. Will there be more alien love stories? Because I’m eagerly awaiting more!
Thank you for this amazing opportunity to read the eARC, and I am happy to provide my honest review in return.
I am a mega fan of paranormal and alien romance, and have enjoyed many of Devon McCormack’s books, so I was very excited to pick this book up! I enjoyed the pace of the book; both Twink and Daddy’s relationship, as well as the main conflict. The premise is so silly but the story done well and definitely made me laugh. Daddy’s thoughts on cell phones were actually hilariously accurate. Their relationship develops quickly. Lots of spice and sweetness as well. This book was a quick read, without losing any substance or unnecessary events for the sake of a longer book. It’s a perfect palate cleanse if you’ve recently read something heavy, or if you’re like me and just enjoy some fun monster lovin! Definitely looking forward to any following books in this world (lookin at you, Roger).
