ARC REVIEW

I've been thinking about how to tell you about my experience reading this story without actually giving away anything about it, and I have to tell you, it is not easy! LOL It's actually never easy, but this time seems harder.

I finished reading this story what seems like a million years ago yet I can still feel it. That's important. How a story makes you feel will stick with you a lot longer than any one detail about that story. I am going to remember Knox & Melody for a long time!

Their relationship, growth, journey, whatever term you want to put to it was natural. It was so them that I was giddy over it. They made me happy. The story made me happy. Everyone made me happy.

Emotionally, the story ran the spectrum but in a first half/ last half kind of way. That means the first half I did not stop laughing even for a second. The banter between everyone was so natural it felt I was reading a conversation me and a friend would be having in real-life. Then came the last half and I was a blubbering idiot for one reason or another. Still enormously happy from head to toe, just in my #cryfest era!

Tia's execution of this story was epic and a thing of beauty! Also, I very rarely say this, but if you're new to Tia's worlds, this is an outstanding book to start with. It stands perfectly on its own. (I can't believe I am saying book 4 of a series can be read without reading the first 3! LOL who am i?!)

This book had me hooked within the first few pages. Naw, it had me hooked the moment I knew it existed. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it, and holy heck did Tia Louise deliver.

The chemistry between Knox and Melody was off the charts. I loved that this had a bit of a secret relationship, and I never expected to love this kind of surprise baby story. I don't know how this author does it, but she writes babies and children, and most importantly, the adults interacting with them, with so much believability that my heart just melts.





Add in the humor, friends, family, and enough tension to keep things interesting, and I couldn't turn the pages fast enough. I love every moment with the original and new Bradfords alike. But dear Lord...what will we do if she ever puts them on the shelf?!

I swear this series just keeps getting better. 🥹

Knox and Melody had me smiling from the very first chapter. Their rivals-to-lovers banter was so good, and I loved watching all that tension slowly turn into something neither of them could ignore.

Knox was easily my favorite part of this book. He might come across as the cocky football star, but underneath all of that he’s funny, loyal, and the sweetest dad. Seeing him with Cricket absolutely melted my heart. 🥹

Melody was the perfect match for him. She challenged him, believed in him, and never let him settle for less than he was capable of. I loved that their relationship was built on pushing each other to grow.

The secret relationship was definitely one of my favorite parts. There’s just something about two people trying to hide what everyone else can already see that gets me every time. 🤭

If you have not started the new Bradfords series yet, you can start here and go back. You will want to. Melody and Knox are such a fun read. The snark, the funny moments, and then there is the dirty talk!

Knox Bradford is youngest Bradford, his humor is addictive, and he is easy to love. Melody is also football royalty, her father played. Knowing football, she negatively critiques Knox’s skills on her podcast.

I loved this story, was hooked immediately and not ready to finish the last chapter. It is nice to see the Bradford and now Dunne family trees growing.

Zone was such a fun one, honestly one of my favorites from the New Bradfords series so far. Rivals to lovers is already a top trope for me and Tia Louise nailed the dynamic here — the hero's got that cocky-but-sweet thing going and the heroine gives it right back, that banter alone kept me hooked from the start.

What really got me though was the secret relationship angle, there's something so fun about watching two people who are supposed to be rivals sneaking around and clearly falling for each other while everyone around them has no clue. And then throwing a surprise baby into the mix really upped the stakes in a way that felt earned instead of gimmicky, it forced both of them to actually grow up and figure out what they wanted instead of just staying in their little bubble.

The whole thing going public after the paparazzi catch them was a great turning point too, loved watching them decide to fight for it instead of just letting the pressure break them apart. Football romance fans are gonna be so happy with this one.

Only reason it's not a full 5 for me is the pacing sped up a little too much toward the end, felt like some of the emotional beats after the baby reveal could've used more room to breathe. But overall such a sweet, spicy, low-drama romance — no cheating, no weird cliffhanger, just a really satisfying happily ever after. Definitely recommend if you want something light but still emotionally satisfying.

If there’s a family I would want to have other than my own, it would be the universe that is the Bradford family. In this installment it’s Knox and Melody that get the spotlight. And hey, how can you resist a hot football player and the girl that shades him on her podcast? I love it!
First, Tia weaves two perfect characters brimming with chemistry. Secondly, the struggle Knox goes through as he navigates discovering he’s a father. I truly had a great time reading through those chapters. And then there’s the fact that she’s supposed to be unbiased when it comes to Knox as she reports on his on the field performance. But I can’t blame a girl for swooning over this guy!
The deeper I go through this series the more addicted I get. Tia’s stories all have this ease to them that sucks me in and I find I can’t put down my book and end up staying well past my bedtime in a need to finish the book! Loved it and can’t wait for the next installment!!

Zone is book four in The New Bradfords Series. It is a contemporary, rivals to lovers, surprise baby, football romance with a secret relationship and found family. The story is told in first person, dual pov.

I could not have loved this story more. The banter, emotion, and wit between Knox and Melody was terrific and their tension, chemistry, and spice was hot! I truly enjoyed both Knox and Melody's personalities and the way their relationship developed was absolutely amazing. I loved the family aspect of the story, as well as the role football plays.

This was such a fabulous read. The writing, pace, flow, plot, and characters were all terrific, as were the characters development, relationship development, storytelling, storyline, and world building.

Zone is a sports romance with enemies to lovers and unexpected surprises. This is Knox and Melody’s story filled with witty banter, surprise baby, and found family. Melody is a true football fan and has a podcast all about football. Knox has been having on and off games and this spunky podcaster puts him in his place. I love how they met and immediately became enemies that causes this back and forth banter with a hint of attraction. I love the tension building and understanding when they finally talk. But when a surprise baby shows up at Knox’s door, we get to see a whole softer side of him. I love how they work together and slowly open up to each other. Their story will take you on an emotional to coaster and pull you in with its romance and cuteness. I really enjoyed their story and can’t wait to read more.

I came in at #4 of this series about the Bradfords, which left me at an occasional loss, but I enjoyed the story anyway.
Quarterback Princess, Melody, is driving an Uber after her job as a sports podcaster with Susan after the latter changes her way of pursuing stories, becoming intrusive and aggressive. She picks up a fare who loses his temper and she recognises him as Knox Bradford, the Saints new quarterback.
I learned far more than I ever wanted to know about American football, but I enjoyed this romance which starts off as enemies-to-lovers and transforms into single dad.
Some lovely moments, as Knox and Melody, restructure their relationship in the face of different stressors.
Enjoyable, and yes, made me interested in finding out more about the Bradfords!

Melody the "Quarterback Princess" knows football. She should, considering her father is football legend himself (Scout Dunne from Twist of Fate). She used to have a show with her partner, but when she turned out to have very different ideas of what's ethical journalism, they parted ways. Now she's on her own, driving Uber to make ends meet, when she meets The Saints' upcoming QB, and their meeting was less than positive. It inspired her newest podcast, where she discusses (usually in a negative way) Knox's play. She's snarky, she's funny, but she's accurate, and it catches his interest, and then some. Now he's finally found her true identity, and is confronting her. Things are about to get fun...



Knox is from a legendary football family, he's trying to not only live up to, but also step out from, that legacy. Things aren't going so well, and the Quarterback Princess's show isn't helping matters. She not only mocks him, but she calls him out for all his terrible plays. Incredibly, all he does is want to meet her. And when he does...whew! Instead of hating her, he falls in love with her, practically at first sight. But now he's got a much bigger thing to focus on than his relationship, the baby girl who was plopped in his lap. Watching as Melody sticks around, is his rock, and is falling in love with his daughter, Cricket, has Knox's heart down bad, for both his girls.



I will remember Melody and Knox forever, based on their snarky banter alone. But there's so much more to them than that. The way they went from rivals to a hell of a lot more because neither could resist each other. Knox practically thrived on his QP's no holding back analysis of his plays, but it was the way she formed a fast connection with his surprise daughter that sealed the deal. Melody couldn't have been more amazing - not only is she smart and knows her football, she has a huge heart for her man, their baby, and all the family and found family. I think I have my new favorite Tia couple - they have so much heart, snark and wit, and seriously delicious chemistry.

Knox and Melody’s not-so-cute-meet-cute sets off a chain of events that go viral. Both of them at low points in their lives – Knox the New Orleans Saints rookie quarterback who just blew the playoffs for his team, Melody the influencer trying to rebuild her platform after an acrimonious split from the partner she thought was too mean-spirited and devious. Put two combustible people in an Uber with a frozen GPS and the situation bursts into flames with far-reaching consequences.

Melody loves football, loves the Saints and thinks Knox could be the next superstar. And being mean is something she never, ever wants to succumb to, but she’s desperate. Loss of income, loss of platform, loss of self-confidence. Knox is a nice guy; he’s a Bradford, after all. But he wants nothing more than to escape after his humiliating mistakes and the team’s loss and when his Uber driver (aka Melody) gets lost on the way to the airport he loses it and yells at her. Repeatedly. And that’s the straw that finally breaks the camel’s back in Melody’s life. Who does this spoiled, entitled athlete from a dynasty family think he is?

Hurt, frustrated, angry – and knowing deep down that while his behavior was unacceptable so was her lack of navigational expertise – she makes a very out of character decision and devotes all her future posts to critiquing Knox’s performance and pointing out his every mistake; she’s got the football know-how to do it, too. It works. Her numbers climb. Everybody tunes in. Sure, it’s a little edgier than her norm, but he deserves it, doesn’t he?

Knox is generally good-natured and tries to take this in stride. It’s attention for him and the team. Her observations are accurate. But it starts to wear on him. As the youngest son he’s always felt compared to the other athletes in the family: his father, uncles, cousins, and these continued knocks on his ability and performance aren’t helping.

And then they meet again. And this one just may qualify for an authentic meet-cute. He’s not as horrible as she first thought; he senses that she’s not really as gritty and hard-nosed as the posts make her seem. There’s a little spark. Wait, there’s a pretty big spark. But wait, how could that ever work? They can’t see each other, can’t ever develop a relationship. They shouldn’t even be seen together if she intends to keep her platform going.

But fate steps in with another “and then” – Knox gets a delivery. A nine-month-old baby girl whose now-deceased mother said Knox is the father and left instructions that upon her death little Christine should be raised by him. He bonds with his daughter instantly. And so does Melody who, making an unexpected under the radar visit because she needs to talk to him, sees him at wit’s end. He needs help and she doesn’t hesitate to give it.

Favorite author Tia Louise has done it again. Zone is delightfully amazing in every way. It’s got so many parts and paths and threads and surprises. Draws you in immediately and is one of those books that you can’t put down; the day is over when you stop reading. Regardless of their negative beginning, both Knox and Melody are as adorable as that baby. Yes, Knox has been wild and a bit of a reckless guy (baby???), especially his rookie year but he’s a Bradford through and through, raised right, caring, generous, good hearted. Melody is uncomfortable with the tone of her broadcasts almost from the start, but she doesn’t know how to stop without losing her platform. But maybe losing Knox and Cricket would be worse?

Tia Louise is the absolute best at writing these next generation novels. The old generation is present and active in the best ways; the new generation characters are fully-developed, nuanced and would stand well on their own, making the connection between old and new solid and enjoyable. The supporting characters are just as terrific. The romance and attraction are undeniable, and of course there’s that Louise touch of steam and heat and spice and a good dose of fun.

I received an advance copy of Zone from Grey’s Promotions. I loved this next entry in the series: catching up in Newhope where the family is just as quirky and magnetic as ever, meeting Melody’s also delightful family and falling in love with Cricket’s baby antics. Zone also gives us a little hint at what’s next (remember, there are a lot of cousins) and I can’t wait. I voluntarily leave this review; all opinions are my own.

Zone delivered everything I hope for in a Tia Louise romance. It was funny, emotional, steamy, and filled with the kind of family moments that make the New Bradford series feel so special. Knox and Melody’s story begins with one disastrous Uber ride, grows into a very public rivalry, and eventually becomes something neither of them can continue pretending is only for fun.

Knox Bradford has spent his entire life surrounded by football legends. As the youngest member of the family and the New Orleans Saints’ rookie quarterback, every mistake feels magnified by the Bradford name. After a disappointing playoff loss, he is already questioning himself when Melody turns his worst moments into viral podcast content. What made Knox stand out was that he never felt entitled to his family’s success. He appreciated the legacy he had inherited, but he also wanted the chance to create something that belonged entirely to him. Beneath the cocky humor and playful personality was a man who cared deeply, loved his family fiercely, and wanted to become someone worthy of the life he dreamed about.

Melody was the perfect person to challenge him. As the daughter of former quarterback Scout Dunne, she understands football on a level that goes far beyond being a fan. Her criticism of Knox may begin from a place of frustration, but her observations are honest, intelligent, and often exactly what he needs to hear. She sees that Knox is not simply a copy of the men who came before him. He has the potential to build his own legacy, and her belief in him becomes one of the most meaningful parts of the story. I also appreciated that Melody never felt completely comfortable with the harsher direction of her platform. She had lost her income, confidence, and professional partnership, and she was trying to survive without becoming the kind of person she had walked away from.

Their chemistry was immediate, fiery, and incredibly entertaining. Every conversation felt like a battle of wit, with Knox and Melody trading sarcasm, sharp observations, and perfectly timed comebacks. Knox only seems to want her more when she challenges him, while Melody struggles to reconcile the man she is beginning to know with the athlete she publicly criticizes. Their secret relationship adds another layer of tension because being together could threaten both of their careers. The banter had me laughing throughout the first half, while the emotional shifts later in the story had me reaching for tissues.

Then Cricket arrives and changes everything.

Watching Knox immediately embrace his daughter was one of my favorite parts of the book. He may be completely unprepared for diapers, crying, and the chaos of caring for a nine-month-old baby, but his devotion to Cricket never wavers. Melody stepping in to help creates a natural closeness between them, and the surprise baby storyline becomes much more than a plot twist. It allows Knox and Melody to build a family through shared responsibility, laughter, sleepless moments, and a growing sense that they belong together. Cricket’s baby antics added so much sweetness and humor, but she also revealed the depth of Knox’s character.

The Bradford family was just as meddling, supportive, and hilarious as ever. I loved seeing familiar characters return, especially Edward, whose quiet presence balances the family’s chaos so well. Melody’s family and friendships also reinforce one of the strongest messages in the story. Family is not limited to biology. It is found in the people who show up, defend you, help with the messes, and stand beside you when everything becomes complicated.

Zone is easily my favorite New Bradford book and may even be my favorite Tia Louise romance so far. Knox and Melody brought the snark, heat, humor, and emotion from the very beginning, but it was the growth beneath their rivalry that made this story memorable. Knox does not need to become another version of his father, brother, or cousins. He only needs the confidence to become the first Knox Bradford, and Melody is the person who sees that possibility long before he fully sees it himself.

I'm labeling Zone as my favorite New Bradford book, or even my favorite Tia Louise book ever!! The snark level alone made this a 10 star read! 👌💯 Knox and Melody are hilarious 😂 and then add in the filthy, dirty talk between these two 🥵🌶🔥 Yowza!! It was fun, it was magic, it was steamy, it was all the things, and Knox Bradford and Melody Dunne lit up the pages right from the start!!

I probably should have known, or at least figured out, the connection to Melody's dad, he's Scout Dunne from one of my favorite Tia books, that she would light up the pages just like her father did. Scout Dunne was one of my favorite heroes, so nothing but spectacular would do for someone to, in a sense, take the place of her dad, and Knox Bradford knocked it out of the park...or more like scored all the touchdowns. 😆🤩🎉

With Knox being one of the youngest cousins he had a lot of the happy-go-lucky tendencies, the humor, and sweetness of youth about him, really all the charm that the baby of a large family would have. What I liked about him is that he didn't have the entitlement that sometimes also accompanies the baby of the family. Knox is a very likable guy and he knows how truly special it is that he not only comes from a big, meddling, lovable family, but also to come with the large legacy attached to his name. He wants to carve his own path, but without burning down everything that was already set up before him. I respected his level headiness, even when he's getting roasted by the sporting world for his missed plays.

Melody Dunne is a football legacy herself. Her father played in the NFL and growing up she was referred to as the quarterback princess. Adorable, true, but this girl also knows the game inside and out, so when her beloved Saints team is losing, mostly because Knox is bumbling plays, Melody turns to her podcast to roast him over his botched plays. In turn, her podcast goes viral because of her commentary and it doesn't take long before these two meet. Again....Knox may not immediately remember, but Melody doesn't forget.😂

Melody may roast Knox over her podcast, but don't worry, he likes Melody more for her realism than anything else and he can’t stop thinking about her no matter what. The more she’s mean to him the more he wants her. Even when she doesn't want to be mean to him anymore. ☺️🫠To him, it feels like home, like family. Not in a weird way, but more like a real connection vs. someone who is just telling him what he wants to hear. It's real and who doesn't want that when it comes to making a real connection with someone.❤️👌

The entire story is so good and I adored them both so much. I'd love to say, no notes, but I want to brag about them to the moon and back. So, I'll leave with this instead...read the book and fall in love with two genuine souls who both love big and care a lot, but sometimes staying rivals (or thinking you are) is more exciting. 🥵🔥 Also, family isn't always the one you are born into, but sometimes it's the one you choose that matters and in both the Dunne and Bradford families, if they care about you, you are family, and family is always there to help.💗

There were a lot of great moments, as I highlighted so many in this book. Plus, I began to realize that another generation of Bradfords is multiplying and it made me wonder if there could be another series, as the OG's are now grandparents. I'm all in...that's all I'm saying.😍

Zone – Can Someone Please Explain How Tia Louise Keeps Doing This?!

I have officially reached the point where I don’t think Tia Louise is capable of writing a Bradford book that I don’t completely fall head over heels for.

I absolutely adored the original Bradford Brothers (and let’s not forget the Bradford sister because she deserves her flowers too!). So when Tia announced the next generation, I hoped I’d love them… I didn’t expect to become this emotionally invested all over again.

Getting to catch up with the characters who stole our hearts the first time around, while watching their children find their own happily ever afters, has been one of my favourite reading experiences. It’s like coming home… except home is full of ridiculously attractive people with outstanding banter and absolutely no respect for personal boundaries.

And now there’s Zone…

Is it my favourite of the New Bradfords?

I genuinely don’t know.

That’s like asking me to pick my favourite child… impossible. Although now my children have flown the nest, it’s probably more like asking me to choose between my Labradors. Luna is beautifully behaved, Lily is pure chaos wrapped in black fur… and I love them both equally. That’s exactly how I feel about these books!

Knox Bradford is an absolute sweetheart. Funny, charming, self-deprecating, ridiculously lovable and determined to make his own mark instead of relying on the Bradford name. Even when the sports world is happily roasting him, he somehow keeps his humour intact… which only made me adore him more.

Then there’s Melody Dunne…

Oh, I LOVED this woman.

She’s witty, fiercely intelligent, football obsessed, and absolutely fearless when it comes to calling Knox out on his terrible plays. The fact that her podcast basically goes viral because she’s publicly roasting him? Comedy gold.

And Knox’s response?

Instead of being offended… he falls for her.

Honestly, that’s the level of emotional maturity we’re looking for, ladies.

The banter between these two was perfection. Sharp, sarcastic, flirty and laugh-out-loud funny. One minute I was grinning like an idiot, the next I was fanning myself because… well… Tia Louise knows exactly how to write chemistry. Let’s just say my Kindle was working as hard as the UK sunshine this week.

What I love most about this world though isn’t just the romance.

It’s the family.

The Bradfords (and now the Dunnes) feel like people I’d happily invite round for Sunday lunch… even though I know they’d empty my fridge, drink all the wine and meddle in my life before dessert. They’re loud, loyal, hilarious and love with their whole hearts.

That’s the magic of this series.

You don’t just read about these families.

You become part of them.

I honestly didn't think the New Bradford series could get any better, but Knox and Melody proved me wrong. From the very beginning, their witty/sassy banter had me hooked. Every conversation felt like a chess match, with each of them trying to outmaneuver the other through sarcasm, wit, and perfectly timed sass/comebacks. Their chemistry is tangible, and I loved that everyone around them could see what was happening long before they were willing to admit it themselves.

Knox was a favorite for me. He's mischievous, playful, and constantly looking for opportunities to stir the pot, but in the most endearing way. Seeing the brief callback to his time at Maverick's house and getting to experience his internal thought process while poking the bear was hilarious. The best way I can describe him is that he feels like someone asked, "What would happen if we put a kid inside an adult body?" He's impulsive, funny, and full of life, yet beneath all that humor is a man with a huge heart.

Melody was the perfect counterpart to Knox. She's intelligent, passionate, and refuses to settle for potential when she knows someone is capable of more. I really appreciated that her desire to push Knox wasn't about changing him. It was about encouraging him to believe in himself and create his own legacy. Her faith in him became one of the strongest emotional drivers of the story, and I loved watching that influence shape both his personal growth and their relationship.

One of my favorite parts of the book was watching Knox doggedly pursue Melody while simultaneously being such an incredible father to Cricket. His devotion to his daughter was incredibly sweet, and it was obvious that everything he did centered around giving her the best life possible. Whether he was navigating parenthood, surviving a "diapersplosion," or trying to win Melody over, his priorities never wavered. Those quieter moments with just him and Cricket gave my heart a squeeze.

I also appreciated how the story incorporated social media into the romance. Rather than feeling gimmicky, it highlighted the very real challenges that come with living in a connected world. The discussion surrounding privacy, public perception, and the way social media can blur the line between public and personal life felt timely and relevant. It added another layer to the story without overshadowing the romance.

It was also wonderful seeing Edward again. He's become one of my favorite Bradfords because he brings such a calming presence to the family. While the rest of the Bradfords often thrive in the chaos, Edward serves as the quiet anchor. Even though he isn't always outwardly emotional, it's impossible to miss how deeply he loves his family and wants what's best for them.

Overall, this was another fantastic addition to the New Bradford series. It's full of witty banter, heartfelt family moments, emotional growth, and a romance that makes you go through all the emotions.

I'd highly recommend it to readers who love rivals-to-lovers, single fathers doing their absolute best, and sports romance.

The biggest plot twist wasn’t the romance

Going into Zone, I already had a pretty good idea of what to expect from Tia Louise. Having already read books two and three in the New Bradfords series, I’ve really come to enjoy her writing style: it’s addictive, emotional, packed with chemistry, and always manages to pull me in from the very first chapter.

This time, we’re following Melody Dunne, a sharp, ambitious sports journalist and podcaster who’s trying to rebuild her career after a falling out with her former co-host. She’s witty, determined, and absolutely refuses to let anyone underestimate her. Enter Knox Bradford; the youngest son of the famous Bradford football dynasty and a professional football player who’s spent his entire life living in someone else’s shadow.

Their first interactions? Pure fire.

The rivalry, the banter, the constant push and pull… it made for such an entertaining start, and watching that tension slowly evolve into something deeper was one of my favourite parts of the book. Their chemistry is undeniable, but beneath all the flirting and stolen moments is a relationship built on vulnerability, trust, and two people learning to let someone truly see them.

Then life throws Knox a curveball that completely changes everything.

Without giving anything away, I really enjoyed seeing him navigate this unexpected new chapter of his life. Watching him grow into the responsibility that suddenly lands in his lap added a surprisingly emotional layer to the story. It softened the cocky football star in all the best ways, making him an incredibly easy hero to root for.

The found-family moments were adorable, the romance was heartfelt, the angst hit when it needed to, and there were enough twists to keep me invested throughout. Tia Louise balances the sweeter moments with emotional depth, while still delivering the signature tension and spice her readers have come to expect.

That said, the pacing didn’t always work for me. At times, the story felt like it was moving at full speed, with certain developments happening so quickly that they didn’t have quite enough room to breathe. Some transitions felt a little abrupt, and I occasionally found myself wishing for more build-up before moving on to the next big moment. Since this was an ARC, I’m not sure whether that’s something that might be refined before publication, but it did stand out during my reading experience.

Even so, Zone delivered exactly what I was hoping for: a swoony rivals-to-lovers romance filled with heart, humour, emotional growth, plenty of tension, and characters who felt easy to invest in. It’s sexy without relying solely on spice, emotional without becoming overly heavy, and a reminder that sometimes the biggest game changers in life are the ones you never see coming.

Zone is everything I love about Tia Louise's writing. Packed with witty banter, sizzling chemistry, heartfelt emotion, and plenty of laugh out loud moments, Knox and Melody's story is an addictive rival to lovers romance that had me smiling from beginning to end. As the fourth book in The New Bradfords series, it delivers another unforgettable romance while bringing back the close-knit family that makes this series feel so special. The story combines rivalry, a secret relationship, and an unexpected baby into a romance that is equal parts sweet, emotional, and incredibly swoony.

Knox is such a lovable hero. Growing up as the youngest Bradford has left him constantly trying to prove himself, but beneath the confident and cocky exterior is a genuinely caring man with a huge heart. Watching him step up when life throws him an unexpected curveball only made me fall harder for his character. His protective instincts, unwavering loyalty, and the way he slowly lets Melody see the man behind the public image made him impossible not to adore.

Melody was the perfect match for Knox. She is smart, ambitious, independent, and never backs down from a challenge. Their rivalry creates some fantastic tension early on, with sharp banter and undeniable attraction simmering beneath every interaction. I loved that she challenged Knox at every turn while also allowing herself to become vulnerable as their relationship evolved. Together they balanced each other beautifully.

The surprise baby storyline added so much heart to the book. It pushed both characters outside their comfort zones and allowed their relationship to develop naturally through shared responsibility, laughter, and quiet moments that showcased just how well they fit together. Their chemistry is electric, but it is the emotional connection that truly makes this romance shine. Every milestone in their relationship felt earned, making the payoff all the more satisfying.

As always, the Bradford family steals plenty of scenes. Their support, humor, and unconditional love create the kind of family dynamic that keeps me coming back to this series. Seeing familiar faces alongside Knox and Melody's journey made the story feel even richer.

Zone is a heartwarming, funny, and incredibly romantic sports romance filled with rivals to lovers tension, secret romance, found family, and all the swoony moments Tia Louise does so well. If you love protective football heroes, strong heroines, unexpected family dynamics, and romances that leave you with a huge smile on your face, this is one you won't want to miss.

Zone is book 4 in the New Bradfords series and follows cousin Knox as he falls for his biggest critic, Melody.

Knox is the son of famed football legend, Jack Bradford, and his second wife, Allie. He is the youngest of three siblings. His older brother, Austin, was already in college when he was born and his older sister, Kim, was ten. He has always followed in his dad's footsteps since that is what he thought was expected of him and he wanted to carry on the family legend, just like his brother did.

Melody is the only daughter of football star, Scout Dunne. She was raised by her single mother until her dad returned to find them. She grew up in the professional football world and was known as the Quarterback Princess. She knows football inside and out and started commenting on players and plays at a young age.

Knox was the first round pick for the New Orleans Saints. When they lost in the playoffs, all he wanted to do was run. The criticism was high on the way he played in that game and he just needed to get away. So he heads to the airport in an Uber. But he never expects what is to come and the future repercussions it will have.

Melody had just parted ways with her former podcast partner over creative differences and she was doing whatever she could to make ends meet. She was starting over with a new podcast focused on the Saints. And her first broadcast is snarky, but honest. But she does not let up on the snark. However, she does provide good criticism and recommendations. And her fans, as well as her target, are listening

But things start shifting when they come face to face. The attraction is instant, even if she still hates him.

But their relationship is about to become a roller coaster ride of epic proportion.

How will Knox and Melody handle his inheritance from a one night stand he does not even remember? What will happen with that inheritance is taken away? Will their relationship survive the battle of a lifetime that is about to ensue to get back what is theirs?

This book is about family. At the core, both Knox and Melody will rely on their family to get them through what is about to rain down on them.

Family is not always about biology, as this story will prove. Knox has his core team members that are family to him. Melody has her girls, Lindsey and Coco, who are family to her. Family is what you make it and this story proves it more than ever.

I love how Melody has morals. She does not agree with what her former partner was doing and she told her. It cost her everything, but she stood up for what she believes in. You go QP.

I really liked Melody's take on Jack, Austin and Knox's position within the football world. Jack was a legend that left too soon. Austin was a duplicate of Jack. Nothing new to make him his own legend. But Knox was different. He was the next Bradford legend in the making. QP knows her stuff and "girl's got game".

The next book in the Bradford series is a winner as I expected it would be. I have loved every one in the Bradford family series and the newest does not disappoint.
Knox, the son of Jack and Allie, is one of the youngest of the Bradford cousins. He is the new quarterback for an NFL team and leans toward the cocky side, as any pro athlete tends to do. He is generally a happy and fun guy, like the rest of the Bradford family, except during a ride to the airport where he lost his temper on the wrong woman after a major playoff loss.
Melody is a sassy spitfire hustling to make ends meet after having to leave a popular podcast she helped start. She is well versed on football and even has the nickname of "the quarterback princess". Driving for Uber is not her dream job, having a popular podcast making full time money is. She ends up with the cocky quarterback in her car and after getting a taste of his nasty side, she takes her displeasure in the footballer to the airwaves.
When Knox is put in his place by an unknown woman, he decides he needs to meet her. Except what he doesn't realize is that he already has. The two mix like oil and water, or so it seems, right from the jump. But as they say, there is a fine line between love and hate. Podcast criticism becomes a new outlook on the field for Knox. He has a growing appreciation for her honest feedback that is helping his performance, and a growing appreciation for Melody as a woman. There is some serious steam between the two that may be the start of something more than having her help with just his quarterback performance. Throw a little twist of fate into the mix and he is getting her help in much bigger ways. More time spent together means bigger feelings that both try their best to deny, but Knox knows what he wants and that is his outspoken Quarterback Princess.
Melody has the best BFF ride or die podcast producer on her side and she is awesome. The Bradford clan shows up as they always do and I love every one of them. Knox's teammates are supportive and funny. Every character is well thought out and perfect to bring their story together. I was invested from the first page to the last. I loved the back and forth banter that was both spicy and sweet between the couple. There is a little bit of everything in here to make this the perfect summer beach read.
I have been a Tia Louise fan from the very first book and this one does not change that. I loved Knox and Melody's story and cannot wait for what is coming next.

Thoughts: I loved the characters, especially their back-and-forth in the beginning. Their banter created great tension that really paid off once they got together. However, after that, the storyline dropped off for me because I didn’t enjoy this take on the surprise baby/baby on doorstep trope. In particular, I found it hard to believe that the baby’s mother chose a random famous man who wasn’t the biological father simply because she admired him and was obsessed with a movie that had profoundly influenced her life. At first, I felt like Knox’s family threw him to the wolves when he was suddenly handed a baby, but they really stepped up for him in the end. Also, can we talk about Edward? He is such an incredible character and genuinely good person. Huge shoutout to him for always showing up for everyone in his life. I really hope he gets his own story. I liked Knox and Melody together, but their relationship felt rushed, especially once Cricket entered the picture. That said, I loved the bond they both formed with Cricket. You could really feel how devastated they were when she was taken away. I’m happy Knox and Melody found their way to creating their own little family and starting a business together. Their postgame podcast was one of my favorite parts, and the innuendos had me laughing. I’ve been looking forward to the Bradford next-generation stories, but right now I’m not sold on Austin and Kim as a couple. I don’t mind a step-sibling romance, but it feels like Austin watched Kim grow up while he was already nearly an adult. We know Kim idolized Austin as a child, and her feelings read more like hero worship that evolved into love than genuine romantic love. It also feels like an unusual pairing since they share a biological sibling. For the “family, but not blood-related family” trope, I actually think Kim and Edward would make a stronger couple. I think she’d be understanding of his neurodivergence, and Austin being caught between his best friend and his stepsister could create an interesting dynamic. That said, I’m still interested to see how Tia Louise develops Austin and Kim’s story.

Knox Bradford’s story was everything I hoped it would be. Set in Louisiana’s Big Easy, Zone is a fun, heartfelt romance about a young man trying to live up to the legacy of his family, with a meet-cute that goes spectacularly wrong. Melody, an Uber driver and podcaster, is taking Knox to the airport when her satnav sends them off course and thinking he’s going to miss his flight Knox loses his cool. In a moment of frustration, she tears into him on her podcast and the episode goes viral. The twist is that Melody actually knows football after growing up with a footballing legend of her own for a father, and her honest analysis catches Knox’s attention. When he tracks her down, he admits she understands the game better than some of his coaches, and he likes that she doesn’t sugarcoat anything as it reminds him of his family.

I really enjoyed the way the writing balanced humour, emotion, and football without ever feeling heavy-handed. The pacing worked well too, moving along at a steady rate while still giving Knox and Melody enough time to build something believable. Their dynamic was one of my favourite parts of the book because neither of them backed down easily, but there was also a real sense of respect underneath all their banter. Just as things are really starting to heat up, Knox is thrown a curveball when he discovers he may be the father of a baby girl. In a rare turn of events, the usually ever-present Bradford family are all tied up with their own lives, leaving Knox to navigate new fatherhood largely on his own, with Melody stepping in to help him and little Cricket. Knox was impossible not to love as he fell head over heels for Cricket absolutely melting my heart. He embraced fatherhood so wholeheartedly that every scene with the two of them was adorable. Baby Cricket absolutely stole the show bringing so much warmth and humour to the story, and of course, it wouldn’t be a Bradford book without at least one memorable poopy diaper moment.

I also appreciated that the conflict stayed manageable. There are a few emotional moments when reporters start digging into Knox’s personal life, but nothing felt overdone with no cheating, no ridiculous misunderstandings, and no frustrating third-act breakup. Overall, Zone is a sweet, feel-good read with witty banter, great chemistry, adorable family moments, and just the right amount of spice. If you’ve been enjoying the Bradford series, I think you’ll love Knox’s story.

I love all of Tia’s books and I was excited about Knox’s book. Once I started, I didn’t stop until the last word. It’s as addictive and character driven as all her other works, but this one has a surprising twist that had me in the “gotcha” chokehold and what came after – wow, just wow.

Knox is the son of Jack and Allie. He is a rising football star with the world at his feet. But as usual, karma is a beeeotch and surprise, surprise - hello baby girl!

Melody is the daughter of a celebrity athlete and a football aficionado. She also has a sports podcast that has hit a downslide, leaving her to work as an Uber driver to make ends meet.

Knox, having had a crappy game, decides to meet some friends for a last-minute trip and decides to use Uber to the airport. As life tends to life, Melody gets Knox as a passenger. As they drive Melody’s GPS gets stuck leaving them a bit lost. In his infinite frustration, he takes it all out on Melody. Melody decides the rookie player needs some very public on-air advice and boy is she very good at her job. This begins a showdown that leads to a secret relationship between the two.

Knox begs Melody to help him with Cricket and before they endure another poo incident, they become a little family unit, each of them catching feelings they just don’t know what to do with. But Karma has more plans for them, a roadblock comes with a push from evilness from others in the past. As they band together, Melody shows how much she loves him. He in turn comes to understand he is in no one’s shadow. He is his own man and is creating his own legend – with Melody by his side.

Now, there is WAY more to this book. We get to see the OG’s and catch up with the previous second-generation crew. Loved seeing all of them together! And I just love Craig!

What I didn’t know is that Melody is the daughter of a couple from a previous book. I have to say, just the little bits you see of her parents in his book intrigued me so much I immediately bought her parents’ book!!

Amazing, emotional and all you could ask for in a romance book. Thank you, Tia!

Now – about who is coming next! I can’t even imagine how that relationship will go down. I am so here for it!!

I’ve really been loving this series, and now it’s finally Knox’s turn! Knox is the youngest son of Jack and Allie, and he’s the rookie quarterback in New Orleans.

Melody is a sports podcaster who recently moved to New Orleans and drives Uber on the side to make some extra money. One night she picks up a passenger using a fake name… only to find out it’s Knox. Let’s just say their first meeting doesn’t exactly go well.

After that, Melody absolutely tears into his rookie season on her podcast. She goes by “Quarterback Princess” (QP), and her listeners know she’s never afraid to call Knox out. When he finally discovers she’s the woman behind the microphone, he confronts her… and wow, the chemistry between these two is undeniable.

The hate-to-love tension? Top tier.

The hate sex? 🔥🔥🔥

They decide to keep whatever this is between them a secret, all while Melody continues criticizing his performance on air. She makes it clear that she’s only judging his football skills, never attacking him personally like her former co-host used to.

Then everything changes when a 9-month-old baby is dropped into Knox’s life after the child’s mother passes away.

I absolutely loved seeing Knox step up without hesitation. Watching Melody naturally fall into helping with the baby and becoming part of their little family was so sweet. Their relationship really grew from there, and I loved how supportive they became of each other.

Of course, things get messy when a photo of them leaks, threatening both Knox’s career and Melody’s credibility. But what I loved most was that they handled it together. There wasn’t unnecessary drama between them. They faced the chaos as a team, and Melody never hesitated to stand beside Knox and that sweet baby.

I also have to mention the Bradford family. Their dynamics are always one of my favorite parts of this series, and they brought so much heart to the story.

Overall, this was such a sweet sports romance with enemies-to-lovers vibes, secret relationship, surprise single dad, found family moments, and plenty of chemistry.

And can we talk about that tease for the next book?! Forbidden romance?! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Oooohhh… I am READY.

Every time I open a Tia Louise book, I know I’m in for a story filled with heart, humour, swoon, spice, and characters who completely steal a piece of my heart. **Zone** was no exception, and I absolutely loved Knox and Melody’s journey!

Knox Bradford had me falling hard. As the youngest son in the Bradford football dynasty, he has spent his whole life being compared to others and trying to prove himself. Behind that confident, cocky exterior is a man who just wants to be seen for who he truly is. Watching him navigate his feelings for Melody, his unexpected new responsibilities, and the possibility of building something real had me completely invested.

And Melody? I adored her! She is smart, sassy, confident, and absolutely not afraid to call Knox out. Their rivalry was so much fun, and I loved how she challenged him every step of the way. The chemistry between these two was undeniable, and their banter had me smiling constantly.

What started as a battle of wills quickly turned into something neither of them expected. The secret relationship, the stolen moments, and the way they tried to fight their feelings while falling harder with every interaction had me completely hooked.

Then add in a surprise baby, and my heart was done! Watching Knox and Melody navigate the chaos of diapers, sleepless nights, and a tiny little girl who brought out a completely different side of them was absolutely precious. Tia Louise has such a beautiful way of writing those moments where characters discover a love and family they never knew they needed.

I loved everything about this book: the football romance, the rivals-to-lovers tension, the hilarious found family, the emotional moments, and of course the incredible chemistry between Knox and Melody.

Tia Louise has created another couple that I couldn’t help but root for. Knox and Melody’s story was funny, heartfelt, spicy, and completely addictive.

I really liked Melody and how she stood up for herself. The banter between her and Knox was top tier. She was not having any of his -ish. Our sweet Melody was practically betrayed by her former friend as a part of their podcast. She is trying to get back on her feet and driving for Uber in order to save money and get back on her feet. Enter our MMC. After a horrendous experience with Knox in her ride share, Melody takes to posting about Knox-who is the quarterback for the New Orleans Saints. She holds no punches when it comes to her critiques of him. Knox is feeling the pressure as he is the youngest in a football dynasty. Once these two clash-its superb. The back and forth and the banter were really enjoyable to read. I am glad I found an FMC that was not about to back down no matter how grumpy Knox was. I love how Knox finally leaned in to the critiques and it helps him to be a better player. Once a baby shows up on Knox's doorstep-a whole new level of drama is added on. I loved how immediately Knox was all in with Cricket. He immediately stepped up to the plate. I also loved how Melody was there for him and was ready and willing to help. Reading their journey from meeting to rivals to flirting to being together was really good. I would definitely recommend Zone. I was in a reading slump and this has helped bring me out of it. I always enjoy a nice sports related story and this one did not disappoint.

I have only read one other Tia Louise book-Wait For Me-and I think it would be helpful to read the other books in this series before reading this one. There were several characters that I was completely lost with. I just kind of blew past that. So, I think its kind of a personal preference. If I had read the others in the series prior, I probably could've appreciated the story more. I also really enjoyed all of the details about Louisiana and New Orleans.

Zone by Tia Louise follows Melody, a sports podcaster who's struggling to make ends meet after leaving her former podcast when it started heading in a direction she wasn't comfortable with. To help pay the bills, she begins driving for Uber, where she unexpectedly picks up Knox—the Saints' rookie quarterback. After her GPS freezes, causing her to miss the airport exit, Knox loses his temper and yells at her. Their first meeting is anything but memorable. Later, Melody launches her own podcast and doesn't hold back when calling out Knox's poor plays on the field, and that's where their story really begins.

I really enjoyed the overall storyline and thought the premise was unique. Watching Melody build her own career while refusing to compromise her integrity made her easy to root for, and I liked the banter and tension between her and Knox. One of my favorite parts of the story was watching Knox step into a role he never expected. Seeing him navigate all of the uncertainty while developing such a sweet bond with Cricket added a really heartwarming layer to the story.

For me, though, the pacing felt a little rushed in places. I would have loved more time to watch their relationship develop naturally before moving into the next stages of their story. The romance had a solid foundation, but I wanted a little more depth.

This book definitely brings the spice, but the intimate scenes just weren't my favorite. I'm honestly not sure if it was my mood while reading or if the writing style of those scenes simply didn't click with me.

Overall, I still had a good time with Zone. It had an engaging premise, likable characters, and enough chemistry to keep me turning the pages. While it wasn't quite a standout read for me, I'd still recommend it to readers who enjoy sports romance with a strong, ambitious heroine and a quarterback who has to learn that first impressions aren't always right. 🏈🎙️💕

Book Tropes: Sports Romance, Football romance, found family, enemies to lovers, small town romance, forbidden romance.

Knox is the youngest son in the Bradford football dynasty. He is the new quarterback with the New Orleanse Saints Football team. He is new to the team, and feeling out the players and what they can do / he can do in his first & second season. Knox has a lot riding on him from his family, trying to keep up the family sports traditions.

Melody, is a sports podcaster who zero-ins on Knox and his struggles. Melody grew up in a football household also. Her father played in the NFL, and they would always go over games and plays, she knows more about football than most people. Melody does do Uber rides every so often, when she needs some extra cash. Melody did have a partner who she was doing the sports podcasting with. Except they did part ways. Her old partner wanted to do black mail in a way on players and see their reaction, and Melody knew that wasn't the way to get interviews / followers.

Melody gives a uber ride to a man who is need to get to the airport, but, Melody's GPS went out during a rain / thunderstorm. Melody is frazzled when she is trying to get to the airport, missing her turn, now the guy is yelling directions at her. Who does he think he is? Melody realizes its Knox, and from that first encounter is when she sets her eyes on him and points out his struggles during every single game.

When Melody goes to confront Knox at his house one weekend he confronts her with a baby! Who does this baby belong to? Why does he have a baby!?!?! Melody melts and helps Knox buy some baby items and helps get things a little settled for him. Knox doesn't know what to do with a baby and when Melody comes to his house he is upset but then he's happy she's there to help him. He knows she won't report on this part of his life, but some how her being with him helps calm him and settles him.

Melody is a football podcaster who is trying to rebuild her career after a falling out with her former cohost. To make ends meet, she is driving a rideshare. One night she picks up a grumpy man who ends up yelling at her. It is none other than football player Knox Bradford. When she starts calling out Knox’s bad plays, her podcast goes viral. Knox doesn’t know who this mysterious podcaster is. When he discovers that Melody is the beautiful woman who gave him a ride months ago, he is surprised. He was having a terrible night and treated her badly. The two start meeting for late-night hookups, which turn into more, and when the paparazzi catch them in an embrace, the two must decide if they should risk it all for a chance at love.

Melody is fantastic. She is fierce, witty, and full of football knowledge. I love how she roasts Knox’s bad plays, while really just wanting the team to be better. Once Knox figures out who the podcaster is, instead of being offended, he flirts with her and falls in love. These two have a history that Knox doesn’t initially remember, but it goes to show that any interaction can have a lasting impression on your life!

Melody and Knox had top-notch banter. Even when she was roasting him on her podcast, he took it like a champ. They were both sarcastic and full of chemistry while having a rivalry that was pure perfection. Watching their relationship evolve from rivals to lovers to something more was one of the best parts of the book. I enjoyed seeing these two navigate all the different challenges that were thrown at them.

The entire story was a great read. I thought Melody and Knox were incredibly well- written main characters, and I loved watching their story unfold. These two were great rivals and even better friends and lovers. I enjoyed this rivals-to-lovers romance and thought Melody and Knox were perfect together. If you love witty banter and excellent chemistry, this is the perfect book for you!
