‘Maybe next time you’ll be worth more than a dollar’ – An entertaining romance!

Texas author Weston Parker has gathered much of his experiences he generously shares in his Bad Boy romance books as a firefighter/EMS man. He now travels and writes, at times with his sister Ali Parker, and at times alone, and his books are all the rage with the Chick Lit audience who undoubtedly love the manner in which a man creates the hot steamy erotica that women usually write for this audience. Weston keeps it real with people with whom we can identify readily and he writes with such powerful eroticism that his novels steam from cover to cover.

Weston opens his book with a flavor that is the seed of the story from Callum, the lead character – ‘My brother and I pulled up to the curb in front of the expensive restaurant where I was about to have a date. Dread filled me at the prospect of walking in there, and I considered driving away. The valet moved toward my car, unaware of my inner battle, and bent over so he could speak to me through my open window. He had a face full of pimples and precisely eight beard hairs...I studied him. How old was this kid?...’

The synopsis he writes outlines the solid plot – ‘The first time I met her, I knocked her onto her butt in the middle of a Beverly Hills sidewalk. She tells me exactly what she thinks of me without flinching. Most people don’t. Honestly, it’s refreshing. I should’ve just apologized because she keeps showing up everywhere. I keep running into her. At charity auctions. Across dinner tables. In places she has no business being and somehow always is. Now she’s become my favorite problem. Which would be fine if she wasn’t gorgeous. Or so determined to make the world better that she keeps reminding me there’s life outside of work. I have a store to launch, a family counting on me, and approximately a thousand more important things demanding my attention. Instead, I’m wondering when I get to see her again. Fleshed out characters, a familiar life change, and a solid romance as a payoff. This is another steamy erotic piece that works on every level.

Auctioned to Be Mine was an enjoyable billionaire romance that combined humor, chemistry, and heartfelt moments into a story that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The first encounter between Callum and Victoria certainly doesn't start on the right foot, and their initial dislike of each other made their growing connection all the more entertaining to watch.

I really liked that both characters had more depth than their backgrounds might suggest. Callum may come from immense wealth, but he carries plenty of responsibilities and pressures of his own. Victoria, on the other hand, has chosen a different path, dedicating her life to helping others through her charity work. Their different perspectives create natural conflicts while also highlighting what draws them together.

The bachelor auction and unexpected dinner date added a fun twist to the story, and I enjoyed seeing how a chance event gradually developed into something meaningful. The banter between the characters was witty, the romance felt genuine, and the family dynamics added warmth to the overall story.

What stood out most was the balance between romance and personal growth. The attraction is undeniable, but the relationship also develops through trust, understanding, and overcoming assumptions. If you enjoy billionaire romances with strong chemistry, engaging characters, and a satisfying emotional journey, this is definitely a book worth picking up.

Can’t get enough of this series - it’s so good
This is book number 5 in The Billionaire Legacy Series.
Excitedly, a new branch of Blackwell’s are on the scene and this series is headed up as - A Los Angeles Blackwell Brothers novel, so there’s plenty more Blackwell’s to look forward to.
This one is Callum’s story and he was introduced in earlier books and now it’s his turn.
He’s gorgeous, a workaholic and has never been in a serious relationship, tending to only see a woman for one night.
Enter Victoria, she has shunned the vast wealth she grew up with, walking away with nothing and starting her life over without her family.
Their first encounter is disastrous and she dislikes him from that moment on, then seeing him again at a charity auction and later calling him out for his bad behaviour the day they met.
Being forced together one evening they realise that they both actually enjoy each others company.
Working together they get closer until Callum makes a decision that has Victoria backpedaling and pulling away.
Can he fix what he has done?
Will she forgive him or walk away?
This was a fun and steamy story that I enjoyed immensely.
Callum and Victoria were perfect together and I loved that all the characters from earlier books appeared.
Another great addition to what I think is an amazing series.
Bring on more Blackwell’s.

The first time they met, he knocked her on her butt. She thought he was pretentious and full of himself and he didn't even apologize. He is Callum Blackwell and his parents want him to marry. He is dreading the blind date he has to go on as the women is glued to filming herself and thinks that Callum is perfect for her. She wants his money and prominence, but he has a plan to get out of it. Little do they know they are fated to meet again. Victoria works for a charity who is doing a bachelor auction. Callum's father sets him and his brother to be participants. It's just a two-hour dinner. Long story short, the women who wins him ends up not being able to go on the date and tells Victoria she needs to go in her place, or she won't pay the donation. The dinner goes well and Callum can't stop thinking of Victoria. He asks her to work on a charity portion of a launch they are doing. Victoria walked away from her wealthy family and has a hard time with the amount of wealth Callum has. Will it all work out or will it all fall apart. This was a good billionaire read. Enjoy.

Every character, every landscape, every dialogue, and every intimate moment has been thoughtfully created and brilliantly delivered by a master craftsman. The snarky banter between Callum and Victoria had me laughing out loud, and the abounding love of family brought me to tears. Auctioned to be Mine is an amazing story of the highest caliber and a must read for romance lovers! Don’t miss these 294 pages of pure reading enjoyment!

I voluntarily reviewed "AUCTIONED TO BE MINE" given freely by the author for my honest review. I thoroughly enjoyed this story the characters hook you from the begining with laugh out moments, steamy chemistry, banter & heartfelt moments.
Callum Blackwell is a billionaire with major resposiblilities, his parents want him to marry & settle down but he has other plans.
Victoria comes from wealth also but she wanted something different, working to help less fortunate through her Charity work was important to her.
Callums father arranges for him & his brother to be auction off at the Charity being held for bachelors. Victoria ends up having dinner with Callum or lose the money she'd have got from the woman who won him but couldn't make the dinner.
Victoria & Callum take you on a humorous journey with twists causing her to back away from him, will he be able to take back what he did hoping she'd forgive him, he liked Victoria more than he wanted.
Victoria & Callum's attraction was undeniable, things changed, learning to trust, forgive wrong conclusions, you don't want to miss this excellent extremely well written enemies to lovers romance.

When Weston Parker puts out a new book, you know it's destined to be a winner and this one doesn't disappoint. This time we get the LA branch of the Blackwood family in Callum who has agreed to oversee the construction of the first brick and mortar of the famous Blackwell Couture in LA which has him stressed out as the opening date gets closer. He doesn't have time for girlfriends or much of a life outside of work. So when he accidently runs into Victoria and knocks her down he doesn't give it a single thought. Victoria can't believe the audacity of this guy. No apology for knocking her down and ruining her dress or help getting her up. What an entitled jerk. But as their paths keep crossing the attraction is there. What develops is deep feelings for each other and the passion between them is insane and off the chart. You will NOT be able to put this one down until the end. A great story and definitely a 10 star read!!!! This can be read as a stand a lone but you will want to devour the whole series.

His Aunt Mimi from the New York Blackwell's has a charity near and dear to her heart that helps child with food insecurity. Callum's anxious to find a way to talk to Victoria again. He has the genius idea to consult with Victoria to get her help to pull off his own auction. I loved this first book in the series, and absolutely can not wait for the others to follow. This Blackwell family is loud, loves big and just so much fun to read about

Enthralling. So romantic You feel this book down to your bones. Superb.

Absolutely magnificent. This is one of Weston‘s best books. After reading this book, you’ll put your hands over your heart and just let out a big sigh. Wonderful. Two people who are just drawn together so naturally that it is like written in the stars love. Having to constantly be together or they feel themselves “alone” is what makes this look so good. Really good background on both of them, which makes them easily fall in love. Are we dating, are we together, are we a couple. I absolutely love this book. I could not get enough of Callum. He is so smitten by Victoria that you almost feel sorry for him because he’s so miserable when she is not around. This is one of those books where the man is the one that is struggling with knowing what to do and what not to do. It is a joy watching him struggle. and having to get advice from his brother. It’s like a teenager in love for the first time and has no idea what to do.

The book starts with Callum making plans to escape a terrible date, leading to an unexpected meet-cute when he literally runs into Victoria outside the restaurant. What begins as a chance encounter quickly develops into something more. Their chemistry feels natural, and it’s easy to root for them as they get to know each other.

Like his New York Blackwell cousins, Callum falls fast and falls hard. While their path to happiness isn’t without obstacles, the challenges they face only make their journey more rewarding. Their relationship is filled with sweet and funny moments, emotional growth, and plenty of romance.

Fans of the original Blackwell series will enjoy seeing this new branch of the family take center stage. If you loved the first series, you’ll definitely want to dive into the West Coast Blackwells.

Victoria was born into an affluent family but that isn’t the life she wanted so instead she helps others by working for charities. Her first encounter with Callum had her believing he was arrogant and she isn’t shy about telling him so when she sees him again at a bachelor auction. When she finds herself having to go on the date with him she begins to realize that there might be more to him than first appears.

Callum and Victoria were exactly who the other needed in their life and the love between them so heartfelt that not even the turmoil they faced was enough to keep these two captivating characters apart.

The saga of the Blackwell family has moved to LA, where they open a brick and mortar store—their first. Callum, a west coast Blackwell, is in charge of creating and opening the store. He plans a way to escape dinner with a social climber that his matchmaking Dad set up, but knocks over a pretty pedestrian (our heroine) on his way into the restaurant. Callum alerts his brother to pull the fire alarm, setting off the restaurant’s sprinklers. Everyone gets very wet, but Callum has gotten away from his obnoxious date without blame. As Karma would have it, he crosses paths several times with our heroine. Later in the novel the hero and heroine act on their attraction! Of course there’s the rough patch that makes them face their love. This well-told story has fleshed out the east and west coast Blackwells, who are all charming but with very distinct characters. I was so excited when this came out. I thought we were done with the brothers, so when Callum got his book I was so happy. Callum is busy opening the brick and morter store when he barrels down Victoria on the way to the worst date he didn't want to go on. Victoria is at the restaurant to try and convince an a-list actor to be a part of a charity dinner auction she is doing. Chaos ensues as Callum and his brother use crazy tactics to get him out of his date. Victoria's boss has a connection with Callum's father, who is a big time film studio boss and has connections to get her someone to replace the actor she lost at the restaurant. He offers up both his sons. While Callum never expected to see her again now they keep running into each other. Callum falls hard and fast. Victoria is not far behind. But of course they both have some baggage for obstacles. Can they work through them to get to their HEA? Another must read from Weston. I hope we get more from the California side!!

Loved the story of Callum and Victoria! Callum Blackwell is being pressured to get married, but at least he has the chance to find love on his own terms! Victoria came from a family with money, but she actually doesn't want anything to do with it and prefers to work with charities. When Cajun needs help opening the family's flagship store in LA, these two end up spending lots of quality time together.
This was a refreshing billionaire story. If course, it is a happy ending, but not in the typical 'rich guy, poor girl' recipe. I really enjoyed that these two characters both love their work and work hard at it. They have to figure out how to continue do the work they love all while making a relationship work too.
We get to meet more of the LA Blackwell family, so I'm hoping we get to see each of these new characters find love as well!

What happens when you are forced to go on a date and need an out! You get your brother to pull the fire alarm! Problem is the sprinkler system kicks in and everyone is soaked. But your date for the evening has luckily disappeared! So does the most beautiful women Calum Blackwell has ever seen.
They keep bumping into each other at galas and functions. Victoria is from money but she left that behind. Anyone who has money is pompous. She hates Calum after he bumped into her and now she hates him for being rich and entitled.
This book is a great addition to the Blackwells legacy and Calum is one of the cousins of Adrian, Dash and the others. Characters were fun too and I always love that the other Blackwells and the new cousins are in the books too ready for their own story.

A 4.8 star read. The fifth of the Blackstone family saga introduces the cousins as main characters starting with Callum. While both Callum and Victoria have come from very affluent families, their lives couldn’t be more different. Weston develops Victoria so very well making her a strong, intelligent, and independent woman. She leaves her family and all that includes to strike out on her own with very little. Callum, in contrast, works hard along side a supportive family. Bumping into each other literally starts the storyline which moves well. Both are independent and know what they want and don’t want. The is just the right amount of humor, angst, family advice, and a bit more spice than I like but not over the top. Hopefully there are more stories about other Blackwell cousins. Definitely read the bonus episode!

This is the first book I’ve read in this series, but I could tell the moment I started it that I didn’t need to read the other books to understand this book. Callum and his brother are hilarious, hardworking, and gorgeous. I think Callum is totally aware of it, too. On his way into a restaurant to meet his “date”, he bumps into Victoria and refuses to apologize for his behavior.

Who knew that bump would be the start of a beautiful relationship?

I adored Victoria from the start. She knew all about the rich and famous. And the way she calls Callum out on his BS is delicious to read. Weston Parker also has a delightful way of redeeming his bad boys. And Callum’s redemption is all because of Victoria and how she makes him a better man.

Victoria is wonderful character who values people above money and society’s values. She was raised in a wealthy family but developed values and beliefs that were contradictory to her parents. She cut ties with them and the money to become the person she could respect. Working for nonprofit organizations unexpectedly put her in contact with Callum Blackwell. He, in his own way, had become his own man but still under the Blackwell umbrella. I loved the way they met, got to know each other and respect the others values. There is so much more that happened but you NEED to read for the specifics 🤭!

Memorable first meeting.

Callum is the oldest of the 7 LA Blackwells siblings. He is overseeing the launch of the first Blackwell Couture in LA. When attending an unwanted date, he literally ran into a beautiful woman and knocked her on her butt. That was the rocky beginning of the story of Callum and Victoria. A wealthy businessman and a charity worker couldn’t be more different. But the more they see each other the more their bond grows. Loved their story and all the familiar characters from previous books. I’m wondering if we will now see the LA Blackwells in future books.

Victoria, having principles that stretched further than her family’s idea of charity work has a spark of mischief under her work ethic and it proves to be glorious for her revenge.
I love the Blackwell family, such a strong family unit, they’re there for each other through good and bad with the families growing as they find their life partners and the next generation are born.

To start with I love Weston Parker’s books! This book is really good from start to finish. The book did not disappoint! It’s an HEA so don’t get upset around the 70% mark. Love the family dynamics. Funny, romantic and family values! Some spice but not too much. Sometimes I think other authors fill their books with spice just to fill the pages. Weston does not do that.

I have a theory on most books. 1-25% is the intro and getting to know, at 25-70% is falling in love, at 70-80% is getting upset, at 80-90% making up, at 90-100% getting married and/or getting pregnant. HEA!

Just the right spice, intrigue and interest to keep the reader at the end of her chair. Callum and Victoria are both beautiful, independent people who swore they would be just fine without anyone else. That was until Callum literally knocked Victoria down…and then there was an auction to raise money for children. And the rest is now history! Great and a MUST read book!
